Chapter 52: Sorry, The Right Way
June 29^th, 2013: Deshmukh Residence, 9:00 p.m.
We start here, 8 months later, where Soham is pacing his room. There's no one else there.
Manav: *walks in and sees Soham pacing*
Soham: *sees Manav and stops* Baba aap?
Manav: Haan mein.
Soham: *looks down*
Manav: Soham, sit down.
Soham: Lekin—
Manav: *sits down on the bed* Sit down.
Soham: *does as he's told*
Manav: What's wrong?
Soham: Nothing's wrong.
Manav: What's wrong?
Soham: Baba, maine kaha na, kuch nahin.
Manav: Okay then. Let me tell you. Kunjal went to the market this morning at 11:00, and still hasn't returned. Everyone else is clearly worried, and has expressed so. Heck, Purvi's still crying in the living room.
Soham: Still!?
Manav: Haan. Lekin, that bring me to you. You walked in, asked what happened, and when they told you, you shrugged and walked into your room.
Soham: Haan, toh?
Manav: Then I come in, because I wanted to know why you thought so, but then I saw you pacing.
Soham: Haan, toh?
Manav: You care.
Soham: No I don't.
Manav: Yes you do. You have to admit that after that incident 9 months ago, you finally warmed back up to Purvi. You have to admit that you got used to Kunjal's presence in the house. Everyone else did, and Archana even started talking to her.
Soham: Yeah, but that's because it was clear that no one was going to do anything about her. And I really don't care about Kunjal Baba.
Manav: Soham, I know you care. Nothing you say or no matter how many times you deny it, I won't be convinced otherwise. You couldn't completely forget her after what happened.
Soham: Baba—
Manav: No. Eat it, because I'll keep saying what I have been. I know more about this business than you.
Soham: Kaunsa business?
Manav: Pyaar.
Soham: Baba, I don't love her.
Manav: You only fall in love once.
Soham: Just tell me what you need me to do.
Manav: If not for yourself, then go bring back Kunjal, where ever she is, before the police have to be dragged into this too.
Soham: *gets up, ready to leave*
Manav: What? No argument this time?
Soham: *doesn't turn and keeps walking*

June 29^th, 2013: Mumbai, 9:30 p.m.
Soham is on his bike driving around without direction. He repeats everything that happened with Manav in his room, and when he finally has enough, he stops his bike.
Soham: *takes a deep breath and runs his hand over his face* Tum (Kunjal) ne yeh sab kyun kiya? Bas vahi jaan na hai.
*ring ring*
Soham: Hello?
Arjun: Aap kahan pein ho?
Soham: Bandra ke aas paas hoon, kyun?
Arjun: Really? My car broke down. Purvi called me and told me what happened. I was on my way over there, but—
Soham: If I get you, you have to come with me to look for her.
Arjun: Theek hai, I'll come. But do you have any idea about where you're going?
Soham: I have a few ideas. Do you think you can tell me where he lives?
Arjun: Kaun? Wait voh? Haan, kyun?
Soham: Then I'm coming to get you.
Arjun: Were you just going to leave me here if I didn't know?
Soham: Probably.
Arjun: Forget just get here.
Soham: Theek hai—aur haan. When we do find out where she is, you're staying out of trouble.
Arjun: Lekin—
Soham: I mean it. You're still recovering from the accident.
Arjun: That was months ago!
Soham: Don't argue with me.
Arjun: Haan, theek hai.

Arjun: Thanks for coming to get me.
Soham: Address kya hai?
Arjun: *tells him the address*
Soham: Hold on, or you'll fall off. *takes off speeding*

June 29^th, 2013: Ranvir's House, 9:45 p.m.
*ding dong*
Jhanvi: *opens the door* Yes?
Soham: Where is he?
Jhanvi: Aap kaun ho, aur kiski bare mein baat kar rahe ho?
Soham: *bangs his fist on the door* You know very well who I'm talking about. Tell me where he is, or he'll find you dead.
Jhanvi: *suddenly scared* A—aap aa-aise nahi kar sakte ho! I'll call the police.
Soham: Or you can tell me where he is and no one gets hurt.

June 29^th, 2013: Outskirts of Mumbai, 10:30 p.m.
[scene shifts to a warehouse]
Kunjal is tied up, looking tired. Her mouth is gagged as well.
*step, step, step, step*
Kunjal: *looks up angrily*
Ranvir: *a little drunk* Kunjal…. I don't like it when you play games with me. We were such good friends and now…? Yeh sab kya hai, I mean….
Kunjal: *continues fighting with the rope*
Ranvir: It's of no use. I've tied you up for all of this. What is this yaar? It's been eight months since I've sent your brother-in-law flying with a car, and now I don't even hear from Purvi or you? I've heard that Purvi was a wreck after finding out… haha, get it? A "wreck".
Kunjal: *is shocked to learn it was him*
Ranvir: Don't look at me like that! Of course it was me! Who else would want to hurt the gold hearted millionaire? Look, you didn't comply with me then, and so you're paying for it now.
Kunjal: *fights against the rope again*
Ranvir: You're lucky I haven't done anything yet. You won't get away like you did last time. Do you think you could refresh my memory? Oh wait, you can't talk. Let's see… oh yeah! In college, you and I were the best of friends. You trusted me so much, right? Would tell me everything… study with me… hang out together… all that stuff right? Then what did I do to ruin that? To cause your dear ones pain?
Kunjal: *starts crying*
Ranvir: Right? I tried to get close to you… apparently too close. You were unconscious, and I was drunk as well! But you got away! I remember, because you threw the camera at me. The camera that recorded everything that did happen. Nothing serious happened, but when you woke up, you were horrible. Phir maine kya kiya? Oh right, I started blackmailing you. I threatened to send the video to people… and I did send it to a few people that didn't know you. People wondered how we went from friends to enemies in a matter of a day. But then, you had to drag Purvi into this. Your childhood friend. You told her everything, and she still managed to delete the video. You thought that was the end right? You graduated and left?
Kunjal: *Still crying*
Ranvir: Wrong. I came back. But this time, I tried to avenge the situation through Purvi. What an angel of a friend you have there, by the way. She kept mum for your sake. But she had Arjun. That Arjun threw me in jail for two months on charges of blackmail. Hmph.
Kunjal: *tries fighting with the rope again*
Ranvir: Finally, you though I was gone too. But then I came back. This time, the day of your wedding. You figured out that I had copied of the video, which is why you lied and said what you said so no one had to see the video. It was almost true, but you got away. Nothing serious happened in college. But no one knows that. And you won't get away this ti— *falls to the ground*
Soham: *straightens himself out after punching Ranvir square in the face*
Ranvir: How did you—
Soham: *angrily grabs him by the shirt and knees him in the stomach*
Ranvir: Calm down—
Soham: *punches him again*
Soham continued to beat up Ranvir with the anger clear on his face until Ranvir "passed out". Soham then slowly turned to Kunjal, who was neither crying nor expressing anything. But then, all of a sudden, Kunjal tries to scream. Soham is confused, but all you hear is a—
Arjun: OUCH! *jumps around holding his hand* Sh*t!
Ranvir had only pretended to pass out in order to grab a rod from nearby. He was going to swing it at Soham, when Arjun sticks his hand out with his cell phone in it.
Soham: Why'd you come inside!?
Arjun: It's cold outside, and apparently you need backup.
Ranvir: Shut up!
Arjun: Soham *points to Ranvir* yeh mera kaam dhanda nahin hai.
Soham: Pata hai, just look for your phone!
Soham resumed fighting Ranvir, who was energized. Arjun goes into a maze of boxes and crates to look for his phone, hoping that it wasn't broken.
Ranvir happened to knock out Soham this time though, causing Kunjal to start freaking out. Ranvir then gives Kunjal a sick look and goes to look for Arjun. Arjun though, is walking back, phone in hand. Arjun doesn't see it coming when Ranvir punches him in the stomach.
Arjun: *now holding his stomach instead of his hand* Why the hell are you hitting me? I already called the cops, so it doesn't matter.
Ranvir: Like I'll believe that. *goes to punch him again*
Arjun: *suddenly really angry, and grabs his incoming fist* Try me. *takes out his phone* I dialed the number minutes ago with my cracked phone.
Ranvir: *backs away scared* Mein yahan se bhaag jaaon toh?
Arjun: *acts interested* Bhaagna chahte ho tum? Yahan se mein aapko bhaagne doon toh *punches Ranvir square in the face, causing him to fall back* Aur kuch khana chahte ho? Bhaagne ke liye energy chahiye na?
Ranvir: You said you don't know how to fight!
Arjun: I said I don't know how to fight, nor approve of it. I never said I couldn't be angry.
Ranvir: Anger kis baat ki?
Arjun: *kneels down and grabs his shirt* Aap ne Purvi aur Kunjal ki lives ke saath bohot khela. There's a lot to be angry about.
Police: You're right Mr. Kirloskar. We'll take it from here.
Arjun: *drops Ranvir's shirt and walks away*

Kunjal finally weakens the rope enough to untie herself and ungag herself, just as Arjun walks out, followed by the police and Ranvir. Arjun looks and Kunjal, and the still unconscious Soham, and walks out of the warehouse.
Arjun: Tell Soham I took an auto to the hospital.
Kunjal: H—hopsital k—kyun?
Arjun: I think I broke my hand… again.
Kunjal: *nods*
Arjun: *leaves*
Kunjal: *starts shaking Soham, worried*
Soham: *stirs*
Kunjal: *sits back*
Soham: *wakes up and looks at Kunjal*
Kunjal: *looks down, not saying anything*
Soham: *sits up* L—look at m—me.
Kunjal: *looks at him*
Soham: *whispers* Why didn't you just tell me?
Kunjal: *closes her eyes and cries silently*
Soham: I asked you something.
Kunjal: I don't know.
Soham: I thought you said you would never lie to me.
Kunjal: I'm sorry.
Soham: I thought you said you wouldn't make me complain anymore.
Kunjal: I'm sorry.
Soham: I thought you said you wouldn't hurt me anymore.
Kunjal: I'm sorry.
Soham: *scoots closer to Kunjal and holds her face in his hands* No, I'm sorry.
Kunjal: *starts crying and hugs Soham*
Soham: *doesn't say anything but wraps his arms around her slowly*

June 30^th, 2012: Deshmukh Residence, 12:30 a.m.
Everyone is truly shocked to learn the real truth. Everyone, excluding Purvi, Arjun, Teju, Trisha and Sachin begged Kunjal for forgiveness. Kunjal broke down crying, saying it's truly alright.
On the other hand, Purvi is very angry with Arjun for putting himself in danger again despite not being fully recovered. They find that the hand that Ranvir had hit was indeed broken, making Purvi very angry with him.

Precap: Purvi cleaning the room again…
Yay! Everyone knows what happened and Soham and Kunjal make up! And Ranvir is in jail for good! 😃
