I'm late, again, I know...😆...I'm so sorry, okay, now coming to your update..

It was really nice, Arjun as usual, trying to give Purvi loads of work to do and Purvi agreeing to do everything, the part where she said that no one can make her to step down, not even Arjun, 👏, her boldness, which I loved a lot...

It showed the real Purvi Deshmukh...😉

I pity Riya, she always apologize behalf of Arjun, thank god Purvi told her to stop it..😆

Precap seems really interesting, can't wait to know what happened between Manav and Nikhil, and ArVi in office...(hope they are alone 😉😛)

Now, please do PM me ur next update, I'll try to give my comment early...😳... Thanks in advance.

Recap: Arjun challenges Purvi, Nikhil apologizes to Purvi, and Siddarth gets a call from Viren
Chapter 13: Kuch Khaas… Or maybe not.
April 1^st, 2012: Karanjkar Chawl, 8:30 p.m.
*ring ring*
Soham: Hello?
Purvi: Dada, I'll be really late coming home. I have a ride… don't worry about me. Okay?
Soham: Haan, Purvi. I'm not worried. Did something come up?
Purvi: Oh… you know… he's being a khadoos again. Nothing new, actually.
Soham: *laughs* Okay, Purvi. I'll see you later.
Purvi: Night, Dada. *hangs up*

Archana: Kaun tha?
Soham: Purvi. She was saying that she would be coming home really late today and that we don't have to worry.
Seher: *walks in* Kyun? Is there a lot of work or something?
Archana: Well, what did she say?
Soham: That her boss was being a khadoos as usual and so she'll be really late.
Seher: *laughing* Why does Tai call her boss that?
Soham: I guess, because he's a khadoos.
Archana: *smiles* Well, as long as I don't have to hear her go on and on about it, I don't mind.
Soham: *laughs* Wow, Aai.
Archana: I'm going to go shower. Seher beta, if your Soham Dada falls asleep, don't open the door for anyone. Okay?
Soham: Why do you think I'll fall asleep? *offended look*
Archana: You have a history of doing so. *hides a laugh*
Seher: Okay, auntie. *hides a laugh*
*Archana leaves as does Seher*

*beep… cut…. beep… cut… beep… cut…*
Soham: *wakes up* Arre! Who calls repeatedly and cuts the phone? *gets up and yawns* Wow… Aai was ri—
*beep….cut…*
Soham: Who could be calling Aai and cutting repeatedly?
*beep…cut…be—*
Soham: Hello?
Caller: Who is this?
Soham: Shouldn't I ask you the same?
Caller: I'm a friend of Archana's…
Soham: Well if you're her friend then who do you think would be the only man in the house to answer her phone?
Caller: I don't know...? Who are you?
Soham: *tsst… shakes head* Arre yaar, Soham hoon! Archana ki ek hi beta hain na?
Caller: ….. K—kau—kaun?
Soham: Soham. S-O-H-A-M…. Soham Deshmukh. Ring a bell?
Caller: Soham… Deshmukh? Archana and Manav's beta Soham?
Soham: You… know my Baba too?
Caller: Haan. Tum vahi Soham ho na?
Soham: Haan… mein vahi hoon. *confused*
Caller: *weird noise* I… got to… go. *hangs up quickly*
Soham: Hello? Hello! Aai bhi na. She keeps contact with such weird people.
And with that… he fell back asleep.

April 2^nd, 2012: ADK Industries, 1:00 a.m.
Purvi: *looking at a computer screen in the dark and yawns* Purvi, tum bhi na. Unbelievable. He's such a khadoos, and you know that. Why did you have to make things harder for yourself? "I'll rise above your expectations… mah mah mah mah." I'm such an idiot sometimes. *pause* Hey, why isn't it printing? *gets up and checks the printer* Ink nahin hain iss mein. Shoot. Ek toh bohot sara kaam hein, and now there's no ink*pauses and thinks* Hey, wait. I can print to his printer. *sigh* Either way, I'll be lectured. *goes back and clicks print… pauses…picks up a file and starts reading it and walks towards Arjun's office*

Arjun: What? Can't she use the office printer!? I need to go talk to her and ask her who she thinks she is! She can't just… *picks up the papers and mumbles to himself and walks towards the door*

Purvi: I honestly don't have any clue what happened.

Arjun: I don't know how it happened… or why. Or why I thought it was necessary to make sure she didn't fall.

Purvi: So I was walking with my head in the file, and I found some mistakes that Siddarth had made in typing it. I was so into looking for mistakes that I didn't realize that I wasn't at his office door yet and stuck my hand out and kept walking. I know, it sounds dumb…

Arjun: I was mumbling to myself about how Miss Deshmukh was getting onto my nerves and stuff while reading whatever was printed out. I opened to office door and hit something. My first reflex was to drop the papers and look. I was kinda shocked to find wh—who I had ALMOST knocked over…

Purvi: I kept walking until something pushed me. I dropped the file and felt myself loose balance, and I was almost halfway to the floor when—it all just happened so fast.

Arjun: I DID NOT grab her. I grabbed her hand and pulled her up within a second, and then she just happened to come back up really fast and… well she… it was all so weird and all so fast… I—

Purvi: He had pulled me up, and I came back up and lost my balance again, so I used him to steady myself that's all. OKAY, so my hand was in his… and his other hand was on my back… but I focused on the flying papers as soon as I could see steadily again. I thought of all the work I would have to do to get that 38 page presentation back in order. Now, who knows what he was looking at?

Arjun: I have a reason. She got back up and started looking in disbelief at all the papers. I was staring at her, as if I had nothing better to do. Okay, so that's not a good explanation. I just… stared at her confused face for probably a lot longer than I should have. It was all weird. Then… she…

Purvi: Okay, so I found that unlike me, he was staring at me. I happen to look from the papers to him, and manage to… well… he was just… I—

Arjun: God knows how long we stared at each other. I had no explanation for anything. At ALL.

Purvi: *stands straight and pulls away slowly…*
Arjun: *pulls his suit coat straight*
Purvi: *starts picking up papers*
Arjun: *helps her pick up the papers*

Arjun: *really low, awkward voice* I'll uh… drop you home now.
Purvi: Okay.

April 2^nd, 2012: Mumbai Docks, 10:00 a.m.
Riya: *walking alongside Teju and Sachin* Guys… do you think our plan will really work?
Sachin: Riya, it's Tej's plan. I don't think it would work if we lived on Mars.
Teju: Dada! Stop being so hypocritical… like you could've come up with something better.
Riya: Guys! Not now… *pauses for a while* Arjun came back home really late yesterday and seemed out of it, though.
Teju: He needs to seriously get out more. Ever since Baba found out that they…
Riya: I've never asked around him… but what exactly happened. I only got bits and pieces.
Sachin: Well, you know how… Aaji.. and…
Riya: You mean how for money and for selfish reasons, badi Auntie emotionally blackmailed your Aai to say that she wanted your Baba to get out of her life?
Teju: Yeah. Thanks.
Riya: Sorry, but you guys have to accept the fact that you guys spent your whole lives hating a woman who did so much for you.
Sachin: All because of lies. Stupid, stupid lies!
Teju: It's okay, Dada.
Sachin: We know nothing about her whereabouts. Where she is, how she's doing… if she's even still here…
Riya: I'm sorry. *pauses* How does this all relate to Nikhil and Arjun and what they did though? Why did Manav uncle get so mad?
Sachin: While they were in college, Nikhil was a … well a "college guy". He had the money, and the girls. Well, Baba didn't necessarily like the idea of Arjun, whom he thought of as a son, with a guy like him. But he ignored it. One day, when Baba was out of town, Arjun had Nikhil over, which never happened. Arjun was innocent though. He explained to Nikhil that he should go home. Nikhil didn't listen. Then, DK uncle called, and Arjun left to talk to him. Nikhil decided that it was okay to go snooping around the house. He managed to get into Aaji's room, which is usually locked. He looked through drawers and stuff, and did basically everything that he shouldn't have. That when it all happened.
Riya: What?
Teju: Well, Nikhil found… EVERYTHING. The fake signatures, the evidence, the recordings….
Riya: *confused* Of what?
Teju: Aaji had recordings of all the stuff she said to Archana. He also found divorce papers with Aai's "fake signatures" on them. She also had a bunch of letters in there from Aai that had all her cries about how she missed Baba. Aaji kept them all, while we lived in hate.
Sachin: Nikhil took everything out and called Arjun. He explained what everything was to Arjun, who listened shocked.
Riya: Right. Dad would always tell us how Archana aunty was a really great person and that he never believed that she did all the stuff Manav uncle said she did. So we went with what Dad said.
Teju: Well, after that Arjun said the completely wrong thing at the wrong time. He said… "We… can't tell Manav uncle. It would break him." But it was all too late. Baba heard everything and was broken. Now, why he blamed them for it, I don't know… but Baba was mad. He knew he couldn't vent out his anger on his Aai, and he had no authority over Nikhil, so Baba's first instinct was….
Riya: Manav uncle slapped Arjun. He yelled at him and screamed and asked why he even brought an idiot like Nikhil to his house. Arjun felt so bad after that. He understood that Manav uncle loved him like a son, and was already pushing that by befriending Nikhil, who was a "player." Arjun only had "smarts"—
Sachin: Which is all Baba wanted. Baba stopped communicating with Aaji and Arjun after that. After a while, he forgave both of them, but nothing was the same.
Riya: I don't blame Manav uncle…
Teju: But now Arjun is so insecure about Nikhil around Baba. He can't help it. That's the only wrong thing I found in this whole thing. Arjun didn't need that extra weight on his shoulders… He already had so much going on with school, and Ashana aunty not being there, and you, Riya… and the pressure DK uncle puts on him about running the business—
Riya: Which is the only reason I stopped studying psychology… so I could help him.
Teju: Riya… you love Arjun so much… You gave up your dreams for your over compulsive big brother.
Riya: *smiles* I know…
Sachin: We need to—as the good friends we are—help both of them.
Riya: Right. I'm in!
Teju: Let's do it!

Precap: Soham talks to Archana about the phone call, Arvi in the office again, and Soham meets Siddarth again
Note: I apologize for it being so long, but I had to get everything in this chapter. I just couldn't stop myself. I didn't want to leave you guys hanging AGAIN. But, there's still a ton of suspense… ;) Like it? Pls Like/Comment.
Things to think about: Who called Archana? Why were they so shocked to find out about Soham? Where do Arjun and Purvi stand now? Will Arjun be relieved of the incident between Manav and Nikhil and himself?

ahh I loved its length..thankyou for taking so much pain and writing such long part for us..😊
I LOVED the ArVi office part...uff an ArVi eyelock...😳and u wrote ArVi scene so well..
ohh so this is the reason manav hate nikhil..but it was for his own good that he came to know about truth..hope all is fine between arjun and manav..!
I think it was savita on phone..
another ArVi scene coming up in next part..😛

Sorryyy I know I'm too late..But its so true that they say,''Better late than never''..I would have missed such a briiliant update..Plz dont worry about the length,we looove such long updates..So finally,u revealed what happened between ARJUN,NIKHIL and MANAV..Hmmm..NIKHIL might be a brat,but in this case I think he helped MANAV knowing the true colours of his mother..I hope everything goes well between the trio..ARVI scene was awesome and very well written..Loved it..Coming to the phone call,I think the caller might be either MANAV or SAVITA,well I dont know exactly,but I'll rely on ur update..So plz update soon and thank u so much for the PM...
