Chapter 6 ----Arjun

Arjun returned to his hotel room annoyed with himself. He'd come to India to do business but so far he hadn't accomplished anything. Thoughts of the lovely beauty he had encountered earlier today flooded his mind. Who was this Purvi? Where did she live? What was compelling him towards her? When were they going to meet again? How were they connected? Question after question arose in Arjun's mind. His mind was in turmoil.

His head throbbed and he walked into the bathroom. He washed his face but the headache was still there. He decided to have hot steaming shower. He removed all his clothes and stepped into the welcoming water. The water rippled across his perfectly structured masculine body. He felt the tenseness of body leave him. A nice shower would always relax him. When he was finished, he grabbed a towel and draped it around his waist. His flat sculpted abs was very visible. He'd worked long and hard to attain this body and he tried his best to keep it to.

He looked into the mirror and decided that he needed a shave. He was just about to do so when he heard the door bell ring. Forgetting that he had just stepped out of the shower and was wearing only a towel, he ran to open the door. It was housekeeping. The maid went pale. Arjun was confused. Had he been on the other side of the door he would have seen what the maid was seeing. He looked like a model. His hair was glinting with streaks of water. Water also ran down his chest and stopped right on his abs. The towel he wore left little to one's imagination. The maid felt that she was seeing a god. Arjun caught her eye and immediately realized his mistake. He ran for a bath robe. The maid was still lost in her thoughts. Arjun cleared his throat.

"I'm sorry Mr. Kirloskar. I'll come back later." She hastily turned and left.

Arjun shook his head and went back to shave.

Sometime later, after he was fully dressed he remembered that Manav had invited him to his daughter's birthday party. He didn't feel like going to a party but he was obligated to go as Manav could be a potential business partner. He then realized he knew nothing about Manav's daughter. He didn't even know her name. Nor did he want to know it. All he could think of was Purvi.

He gathered his keys and his cellphone and left his room. When he came downstairs he felt as if every single female in the room was ogling him. Clearly the maid had told everyone what she had seen. Now everyone seemed to be undressing him. He put on his shades and walked out the building smiling.

He decided that he should purchase a present for the birthday girl. He stepped into a jewellery store. He didn't even know what he was going to buy. He wished that he had asked Manav what his daughter liked. That would have made his job a lot easier. He asked to see some jewellery. One particular bracelet caught his eye. It was one of those charm bracelets. One of the charms was of Ganapatti baba. He decided to purchase that. He was just about to make the payment when a diamond necklace caught his eye. He loved it. He envisioned Purvi wearing it. This was weird. He couldn't stop thinking about this girl. He decided to purchase the necklace to. He thought he'd sent it to Ovi because there was no way he could gift that to Purvi. He would have to meet her first! Poor lad, he had no idea he was actually on his way to meet his angel.

Arjun sat in the car and told his driver his destination. Within minutes he was on his way to the Deshmukh's mansion. He decided that he was just going to drop of the present and toast the birthday girl and then he would leave. He was not in the mood for large crowds this evening. He had no idea how this one night would change his life forever...
