I have never watched PR when it first began, and im completely oblivious to the fact as to how Sushant & Ankita were as ArMan, so i can't comment on how good the show was back then, but i know for a fact that its ratings were beyond brilliant. Ankita decided to stay on, which is nice of her, but they HAD to replace the actor to play Manav's role, so its very very evident that more than half the audience couldn't except Hiten as Manav although he is a brilliant actor, because according to all of us only Sushant was perfect as Manav, then came te time to make CHANGES to the show, if Ekta wanted she could have just put a full stop to the show, but she didn't for audience's sake, so she brought in a LEAP.

Now in the leap, i would say all the actors are doing a great job, but Rithvik and Asha having the most fresh chemistry out of all the newcomers. And its SO obvious that people would want to see two strong characters together. REMEMBER..not only ArVi fan watch the show..there's ArMan fan, Archana fan, Hiten fan, Savita fan, and neutral viewers.

Some watch for ArVi, some for Archana, some for ArMan, some for Hiten...so to say without ArVi there will be no PR is totally absurd..and wrong.

We watch PR with our own reason..just keep it with you. No need to announce to the world you watch for this..or for that.

Who cares anyway?

Second choice was Shafaq Naaz coz Asha was also playing Apeksha so ekta told she she will increase her role in BALH.But At the endpoint Shafaq refused to shoot then again BT called Asha again.They have no option left.
