Hi All.
I have watched PR for almost all of the last 3 years and finally decided to comment. I come to I-F for updates and have been seeing only discord the past few months and its very disturbing to read. My take:

Archana and Manav never really took care of their relationship. Thats why inspite of all the love, passion and respect between them, everyone has been able to drive a wedge between them. Its pathetic that the first one and probably the strongest one that drove the wedge in was Savita, Manav's mom. Archana's own family cannot be absolved either. Fact is, no one, including Archana and Manav was worried about keeping protecting their relationship. It was the first thing they gave up on in times of trouble where it should have been the last thing. The bond between them is very strong but until the day they respect it, they will struggle and fail.

Coming to Savita, she was wronged, she was generous, decent and at the same time has wronged, was selfish and indecent. However, the person she has wronged most is Manav and its so sad that as a mother, she doesnt introspect or feel bad and change her ways.

Archana seems very polarizing in this forum - Not sure why. Right or wrong, self created or not, the point is - she has suffered and continues to suffer immensely. All her life she has sought for people to see the decency of her spirit. It was not to be because sometimes she was too decent for normal people to relate and at others, it seemed like she was decent at the expense of her own self (Manav and children are extended self for this discussion). Its clear she suffers from deep inferiority complex and hence imposes that on her life - that it is okay for her life and in some cases, her children's life to be trampled. She has been taken advantage of by all she knows. No one has valued her for her good and helped her get over the bad in her personality . Summary is, she has had a pathetic life.

Where the CVs should go from here is that since all that Archana lost is coming back to her, she must find her strength - her relationship with Manav and work on resurrecting it and protecting her family with it. That would be the way to go from here. Else, this show will be the worst form of emotional blackmail ever.

Excellent post! 👏 Im glad to see such a mature, sensitive analysis of Archana's situation as opposed to the shallow, senseless name-calling that goes on!
You're right, Manav and her children are extensions of herself, so when she takes some noble action at her own expense it hurts Manav and her kids as well.
Basic nature of love is you always hurt the person who loves you the most! Ive seen this theme repeated in most of Ekta's shows!
The ones to drive the wedge between them most are Savita and Sulochana...each too possessive and egoistic and controlling over her own kid. Sulochana always controlled Archana, and still does, Savita always controlled Manav and still does! But this is the story in many Indian households...the in-laws spoil relationship between husband and wife through their petty squabbles and egotistic tug-of-war! And they dont really care or bother abt the happiness of their kids!

Hi, you hve written it so well, Archana character makes me think why she does bad to herself? The fact that Archana is part of family...doing bad to herself for someones good will not only destroy her life but also family's...
Same happened during chawl scnene...she forgot that she had her responsibility more to her family than chawl people...even if she thought manav was wrong...

You stated it right, Character like Archana suffers form deep inferiority complex{ which some girls feel when they are constantly rejected before marriage, and not educated}
Therefore when Manav blamed Archana for Soham's death, she felt worthless and guilt was incorporated deeply. She even abide to Manav's wish of taking her daughters away from her for their safety...and she gave up her twin daughters...

Actually such people require a life partner who understands other...and opposite to him/her...
But her Manav too never stood up for himself when time wanted against savita when she was wrong...hence her power to do more wrong increased.

Sad that her daughters think she is money minded, but glad she found purvi in her life...or else she wouldnt have lived so long...
Archana worked and struggled for purvi and lived with dignity and taught the same to purvi...

I think Teju should be the one to know the truth about what cause her parents to split. She has already been hearing savita talk bad to her mother maybe one day should should hear Savita spilling out the truth about how she cause Manu & Archanna to split. She should be saying this to her husband or Archanna, (since she likes to talk a lot) and Teju should over hear this conversation. I want to see Teju blast her. I want to see her two precious granddaughters blast her for tearing their mom and dad apart. After that they will tell there father and stop the divorce from happening.
