Arjunaluis, that would make a very interesting script, Arjun jealous because Purvi has gotten close to her captor and perhaps, Ovi taking advantage of the situation.

I distrust that Chenu too, he is like a cannon ball about to go off any minute and he does not like Soham. Balan's concern for Soham could portend a showdown between Chenu and Vishnu.

It was very pleasing to see good side of Savitaji, and tone of her voice. 👏

Janhvi,

Appreciation, a good bit of it, but qualified, and not for the part @red.

Vishnu will make sure the others do not molest Purvi, for he is not a sleaze ball, but he sees her as worthy of protection only because her folks are ready to pay up, not out of (rustic) chivalry. If they do not pay up, he seems quite ready to put a bullet thru her head, as he says himself.

As for Arjun, if he loses his head so easily that he goes around showing random people Purvi's dhaba picture and asking them whether they have seen her, when he has already been clearly told by Manav that she has been kidnapped instead of Ovi and that the kidnappers are asking for a ransom, one does not know what to think. He looks like a young Steve McQueen, and it is time he started acting like one. I do not like my boy to panic at the first real crisis he faces, and that too despite having such total backing from his dad.

If Manav does not listen to his eminently sensible suggestions, Arjun will have to find his own way to implement them, with the help of the police, for the ransom payment bid is going to fail, and then the only way out would be to locate Vishnu's (and Purvi's) location and get her out by main force.. The Indian police are usually very good at tackling interstate kidnappings successfully, for the coordination between the police forces of the various States in such cases is excellent.

As for Manav, I have written enough on that to you on my latest thread, Gathering momentum? so I will leave it at that.

As I noted in the above-mentioned post, if Varsha has to be brought front and centre into the main narrative - how else can Vishnu's real parentage be revealed - the action, and Purvi, will have to move to Balan's lair in Bihar. Have fun with all these and other complications, and bye for now.

I was watching DK throughout Ovi's rant - the man looked disbelieving and disgusted. I am sure he must have been thanking the dear Lord for the chutkaara his son found from this selfish girl. His "main hoon na" dialogue to his son was touching and reassuring.

As for Arjun, yes, I did think his stumbling off yesterday from the scene was a bit premature. But the lad did justice, he seemed desperate, helpless, not knowing what to do and his dad seemed to understand the depths of his son's anguish. Arjun's words of bravado to Purvi were as much for his own assurance as for her. I remembered too the promise he made Purvi when she questioned him what if somebody takes her away from him and his emphatic no one can, he won't let them, my guts tells me it will be Arjun who ultimately saves Purvi.

As for Soham, he seemed genuinely surprised that Purvi was moving away in sheer fright from him. His words guaranteeing her safety seems to bode something as well. He will protect her from the other goons, I am certain.
Balan seems surprisingly attached to his son. His prayer to protect his boy was oddly out of character or unexpected from a ruffian like him.
Savita was awesome, there is some humanity left in her after all these years. She alluded to Purvi being from a good family and a good girl (?). She puts on a front alright, our Mrs. Savita Deshmukh, she has a heart underneath all that bark, after all.
Manav was absolutely awesome, loved him today. Resolute with Ovi, loving with Archana, firm in his conviction to save Purvi. I paid attention this time, he said Purvi holds the same importance in his life as Ovi and Teju, he did not say he loves her the same.
As for Ovi, behind all that perulance, is the overriding feeling that of being torn assunder from her mom? Savita, are you listening? can you set things right and make your beloved grand daughter whole again by telling her the truth that she was not abandoned as a child?
PR seems to be clipping at least in terms of innuendo and promise of things to come.

Dear Kaalapi, I see the practicality of your post and would agree with it except that Manav seems to have an abundance of disposable wealth and Purvi is not a stranger to him. Ovi can probably be justified for everything she said except that one sentence about let anything happen to Purvi, who cares, that smacks of something beyond mere selfishness, it is venom to the core and that is unforgivable. Savita did not say that because she knows Archana does have a right on Manav's crores and Savita unexpectedly has a heart.

Archana asking Manav to help, I see nothing wrong in that, if my adopted child went missing, I would expect my husband to move heaven and earth to find her. Archana has never thought of Manav as anything except as her husband inspite of the physical distance between them and the lapse of 18 years, she did not demand of him even then, she begged and pleaded and fell at his feet. I would do that if I knew someone could help even if it were a stranger if my child went missing. I would care two hoots for self respect, I would grovel at the feet of the person. Surely, we can't judge her for that?

About her wanting her puranewallah Manav, I don't give too much credence to that, wives would like their husbands to spend time with them and may say "who wants money, I only want you to spend time with me and the kids". That shows her love for him, yes, he had admirable motives to be busy at work to the exclusion of spending time with family, he wanted to better their living conditions, for his wife and children, granted, but she had just cause for complaint, if I remember right, he cancelled their vacation last minute, a vacation Sachin was looking forward to greatly.

Archana irks me with her mahaantha but she has sacrificed enough for his family too. If Manav spent money on Sulo's house, Archana gave up on her marriage for Manav's family so Sachin could be born legitimately. Even now, knowing full well of Savita's complicity in the divorce and child custody events, she is still respectful and loving of her sasural. She is human not an angel and if she has lapses every now and then, it is to be expected and forgiven.

thanks for your comment...😉yes in my imaginary script, this is what i wouldn't have written, ovi will follow them (purvi and soham) or hire someone to take pictures of them...after seeing them together, she will show it to arjun and the others..after being yelled at as a cheater and some other name names (surely arjun and archana won't believe) by the others...purvi would scream he is my dada...to ovi replying what a great lie to cover up, looks like you need 2 man now...archana who had enough, would ask purvi what she is talking about..purvi:- vishu is your Soham..the soham you waited for 18 years...Vishu is your and baba's Soham...while all this is going on..Soham is outside listnening...too shocked to respond..what to you think?

Yap Chenu hates Vishu because he has Balan's concern and can't go wrong..both of them had made a mistake before..Vishu with Arjun, Chenu i don't know when but i remember he was angry because when Vishu made the mistake...Balan took it lightly..when he made a mistake he was yelled at...but don't worry purvi will stand strong..she grew up with only a mother, no man in her life...she has had to fight a few fights to get where she is now...😃she will be fine, after getting over the shock she has been kidnapped..i believe in PURVI😉
Also great acting by ASHA not easy to act with four big man around you...i am starting to like ANKIT a lot..his dialogs are awesome..i liked when he said why did you change your saree you like being kidnapped..i had to laugh..😃

I thought exactly same- Archana didn't react when she heard about Ovi and suddenly she is howling, crying and what not. This will upset Ovi for sure.

Any mother will react to ehar bad news about any child. but surprisngly archana didn't. Infact thatw as best time to show her true love for Ovi and win over sachin and Teju.

I just acn't stand this Archana character. out of this world mind and heart. Totally confused. she doesn't know what she wants.

Best in today's episode- Manav, teju and Savita

great post...i agree with you 100%...👏👏especially the part about archana being human and also the part where i would grovel at the feet of the person...👏a mother would do anything for her child..anything..they would move heaven and earth..and purvi and archana's relationship to me is more than a normal mother daughter relationship..when purvi heard manav's voice she didn't say baba..she immediately called for her aai..shows what they have been through in life...i hope they show in this kidnapping episode flashback of the trouble archana had to face in life with purvi being her only support system..it is not easy bringing up a daughter alone without your husband especially in india...maybe then people will understand why archana loves purvi so much even though she is not her biological daughter...also i would like to know when did archana tell purvi she is adopted? parents usually don't tell their kids...

Ovi's reaction was the only sane reaction.

Manav has been ridiculed for his wealth by Archana who called him 'ambitious' in court and Mr . Manav Deshmukh the business tycoon who was not 'her' Manav anymore just because he was wealthy .

Now the question I want to ask is will Sulo's great sanskaars 'save' Purvi or this ' bad ' wealth ? 😉

With what face is Archana asking him to 'save ' Purvi with Manav's money if she called him 'ambitous' in court ?

Very frankly it is ' Manav aap kuch keejiye na ' all over again . Each time it is given the name of humanity or ' insaaniyat ' but the bottom line is Manav is made to spend crores on HER family when crisis strikes but the same wealth is called 'inhuman ' later on and he is given zero value .

Ideally DK or Arjun should spend this amount with sanskaari Sulo looking worriedly on . This is not the time to be true to Archana's silly challenge . It is time to use bad wealth 😉. After all Purvi is gonna be THEIR bahu . After Arjun wins Archana's silly challenge of course . She loves being poor but ends up extracting lots of money doesn't she . 😉

It is Manav's goodness that he is willing to pay at the drop of a hat . Otherwise reality is Purvi was adopted and raised without his consent or knowledge both .

What Savita should have said Ovi said . Thats all .

Weak Manav of course refuses to let DK pay and gallantly rushes to the rescue bcoz beautiful 54 year old Archana wept on his chest😆😆. Any other man would have thought ' My money for MY children . Anyways this woman is divorcing me and demanding so much monetary compensation . The divorce is yet to happen ...let DK pay . '

But that is too practical for a Pavitra Rishta .

Archana wanted Manav to remain poor [ he was justtt not her pooranewalla Manav after he became rich . She even made Arjun give up his wealth . So much in love with poverty she is . But as such the kidnappers LOVE only money . Not ...er ...sanskaars . 😉

Archana is so used to Manav bailing out her family isn't she . Well well , they say na , old habits die hard . 😆 😆😆

btw Purvi will ' change ' Vishnu's heart with her toofani sanskaars . Ultimately the great Sulo will win . So I guess Archana and through her the grand matriarch of sanskaars Sulo will win after all . The kidnapping is for this purpose . Manav and Archana will get together , Soham aka Vishnu will grow a soul [ with fluttering wings due to Purvi's sanskaari spirit ]and be re united with his family , Manav and Arjun will forget their differences in their hunt for Purvi and when asked ultimately what changed him the answer will be

'' That girl . What great sanskaaars she has . I wonder where she got them . ''

Now where did she get them? From her Aai . Which in turn got them from her great , sanksaari one and only mother . Sulo .So what if poor non-existent father was ready to pay 3 crores for ' insaniyat ' .

I cant say I agreed with everything u wrote... but... i must say it was quite an entertaining and amusing read. So, thanks for that 😊

Nice post Jhanvi. I agree with you mostly. However I could sort of understand the pain Ovi was going thru when Manav was rushing to help Purvi. Savita knows how it feels like to lose a child she lost her son too and I liked how both Manav and Savita tried to make Ovi understand in a nice way. But where Ovi was right was when she said Purvi had ruined her as now Arjun has left Ovi for Purvi and she probably feels abandoned now that even her own dad Manav is giving a tad more importance to Purvi then her. Manav should not have said Purvi is important to me as Ovi-Teju are he probably should've said something like out of humanity I should help Purvi because he really is not Purvi's dad. Archana adopted Purvi without Manav's consent so it's very generous of Manav to be giving loads of money just to save Purvi.

I was annoyed with Archana though. When she found out Ovi got kidnapped she did not react at all nor did she start getting emotional and start crying but when Purvi got kidnapped and the news got to her she started sobbing and begging Manav to do something to save Purvi. It's obvious she gives far more importance to Purvi then her own biological daughters and loves her far more. She doesn't think the way Ovi got betrayed by Purvi was bad at all neither did she care that Ovi got kidnapped. and I had loved when Manav said to Ovi that yes Purvi is at fault for what happened to you and he may never be able to forgive her. I think Purvi should be punished for her act of stealing Arjun from Ovi but being kidnapped is a bit too harsh of a punishment for her and she should be saved I would have loved it if Archana would've been just as concerned for Ovi as she was for Purvi.

What?? Purvi stole Arjun from Ovi??? 😕 😲
