I was watching DK throughout Ovi's rant - the man looked disbelieving and disgusted. I am sure he must have been thanking the dear Lord for the chutkaara his son found from this selfish girl. His "main hoon na" dialogue to his son was touching and reassuring. As for Arjun, yes, I did think his stumbling off yesterday from the scene was a bit premature. But the lad did justice, he seemed desperate, helpless, not knowing what to do and his dad seemed to understand the depths of his son's anguish. Arjun's words of bravado to Purvi were as much for his own assurance as for her. I remembered too the promise he made Purvi when she questioned him what if somebody takes her away from him and his emphatic no one can, he won't let them, my guts tells me it will be Arjun who ultimately saves Purvi.
As for Soham, he seemed genuinely surprised that Purvi was moving away in sheer fright from him. His words guaranteeing her safety seems to bode something as well. He will protect her from the other goons, I am certain.
Balan seems surprisingly attached to his son. His prayer to protect his boy was oddly out of character or unexpected from a ruffian like him.
Savita was awesome, there is some humanity left in her after all these years. She alluded to Purvi being from a good family and a good girl (?). She puts on a front alright, our Mrs. Savita Deshmukh, she has a heart underneath all that bark, after all.
Manav was absolutely awesome, loved him today. Resolute with Ovi, loving with Archana, firm in his conviction to save Purvi. I paid attention this time, he said Purvi holds the same importance in his life as Ovi and Teju, he did not say he loves her the same.
As for Ovi, behind all that perulance, is the overriding feeling that of being torn assunder from her mom? Savita, are you listening? can you set things right and make your beloved grand daughter whole again by telling her the truth that she was not abandoned as a child?
PR seems to be clipping at least in terms of innuendo and promise of things to come.

Nice post Jhanvi. I agree with you mostly. However I could sort of understand the pain Ovi was going thru when Manav was rushing to help Purvi. Savita knows how it feels like to lose a child she lost her son too and I liked how both Manav and Savita tried to make Ovi understand in a nice way. But where Ovi was right was when she said Purvi had ruined her as now Arjun has left Ovi for Purvi and she probably feels abandoned now that even her own dad Manav is giving a tad more importance to Purvi then her. Manav should not have said Purvi is important to me as Ovi-Teju are he probably should've said something like out of humanity I should help Purvi because he really is not Purvi's dad. Archana adopted Purvi without Manav's consent so it's very generous of Manav to be giving loads of money just to save Purvi.

I was annoyed with Archana though. When she found out Ovi got kidnapped she did not react at all nor did she start getting emotional and start crying but when Purvi got kidnapped and the news got to her she started sobbing and begging Manav to do something to save Purvi. It's obvious she gives far more importance to Purvi then her own biological daughters and loves her far more. She doesn't think the way Ovi got betrayed by Purvi was bad at all neither did she care that Ovi got kidnapped. and I had loved when Manav said to Ovi that yes Purvi is at fault for what happened to you and he may never be able to forgive her. I think Purvi should be punished for her act of stealing Arjun from Ovi but being kidnapped is a bit too harsh of a punishment for her and she should be saved I would have loved it if Archana would've been just as concerned for Ovi as she was for Purvi.

I agree that Arjun and Purvi love each other and Arjun does not love Ovi. In Arjun-Ovi relationship the love has always been one-sided only. And I also agree that Arjun had not told Purvi about Ovi he was very wrong there once he fell in love with Purvi he should've broken his engagement with Ovi immediately so that Ovi's hopes of getting Arjun would not increase by the day it may not have been so bad right now if Arjun told Ovi right then. I can understand Ovi's pain but even at this point I would rather have Arjun be with Purvi and not Ovi. It would also be best for Ovi to move on and forget Arjun she is thinking of him all the time when Arjun doesn't even care for her one bit.

I disagree with you on Archana's reaction... she did get emotional and was even crying .. and just when they were getting ready to call police or something ... Ovi came running back saying Baba..

Yeah Purvi did not steal Arjun from Ovi,rather purvi didn't know that Arjun was committed to Ovi.
Purvi is never at Fault, moreover, After Artjun got engaged with Ovi she ceased her relations with
him.So far the confrontation between Archana and Purvi is not shown ,that is the reason
every one is blaming Purvi.

Good observations Jhanvi ..
I also noted a few today .
Soham is not at all educated .He told Manav on phone .But even I felt that Purvi is somewhat a bit more safe with him than Chenu or someone else .
Arjun was actually right when he said to call in the police ..This situation needs the police but I guess Manav got scared because of Purvi's security .
The friction between Arjun and Soham has started in a big way from today ...see how hostile they were with each other on the phone .

Wonderful observation Janhvi dear😊.I think Arjun was thinking practically,Manav was thinking emotionally.Logic goes off the bit when emotions take over, Manav was getting really scared here and I think the ransom wont reach the kidnappers. At that time Police intervention with Arjun coming there and chipping in during when Manav tries to negotiate might happen.
I think Arjun might sneak behind Manav ,may be Manav might want to go alone but Arjun might sneak behind n cops might sneak behind Arjun or anything can happen.I think somewhere Arjun will be involved with Manav along with the cops in the rescue mission.Every Hero has his day..😉
I think this kidnap mission might bring some closure to challenge fiasco(Arvi relationship approval too) and many others for the doors to open for the major Soham track.

Bhalla, I could have understood Ovi's pain had it not been for her comment about let anything happen to Purvi, who cares. Her blatant disregard towards a fellow human being has no excuse. And Purvi did not steal Arjun, in fact, she termed all relations with him once she knew about his involvement with Ovi.
Savita was refreshingly caring towards Archana. I too kind of initially thought that Archana's reaction to Ovi's kidnapping was downplayed but then Archana had hardly any time for the news to register and sink in, news of Purvi's kidnapping came after she had already grasped the enormity of the situation. Also, her plea to Manav was to save Purvi, she knew he would save Ovi without anyone's bidding, when it came to Purvi, she has no one except Archana and Sulo (Archana does not yet acknowledge Arjun) so she is distraught and anguished as that kind of rakkam is beyond their meagre means.

I am not sure why everyone is blaming so much on the way Ovi reacted? How was she to react? Purvi isn't someone that helped her in anyway, rather she 'took' away her Arjun. Purvi isn't related to her yet (it will only happen if and only when she accepts Archana as aai and she could forgive Arjun for what he did to her). Besides, Purvi has the mom she herself never had. Who knows what the story could have been if P urvi wasn't adopted by Archana. The story might have been very different then. Archana in her loneliness could have (maybe) reached out to Manav for her kids in these 18 long yrs. Purvi did fill the vacuum left by Archana's biological kids. Purvi does represent to Ovi the things she never had or will have..

She is only 18 and we expect her to be a symbol of forgiveness. She sees her mother showing more concern for Purvi then her. Am yet to see Archana making an effort to win her (Teju seems ready to give Archana the benefit of doubt). Arjun and Dk who showered her with love and affection at one time, isn't showing any towards her anymore, (especially DK).Manav/Savita/Teju all showing concern towards Purvi. Ovi is bound to feel alone in this situation. It is only natural to feel jealous and helpless. Poor girl really, I don't see anything here in her behavior linked to getting bad sanskar or anything. Actually how many of us could be cool and carry on life as usual when all around our loved ones seems to have changed sides? Could we really wait and be logically and that from a 18 yr old girl?? Could we be cool if our love (even one-sided love) shows concern for another girl??? Jealousy is a natural reaction to me...
