I think that the CVs are making a big mistake by not showing him rejecting Ovi already. However, if he told her he was doing this for Purvi, Ovi would probably go on a rage and harm Purvi for bringing him down to this level. I think Arjun was being circumspect and didn't want Ovi to hurt anyone so for this reason, he left the reason vague.

Poor OVI.She is going crazy behind Arjun.Arjun is doing wrong with OVI.He should have told OVI tht he does'nt love her.

Probably hes wants to protect Purvi because if he keeps telling Ovi that hes proving his love for purvi then Ovi might do something that would harm Purvi or she would come between them.

If Archana had not put this condition he would have never dropped D-K name and adopted Arjun (W/O Kirloskar and now Karanjkar) name to prove..

There was no need for him to drop family honor or leave the house and become fatichar..

He could have told Ovi..he is not doing this due to Manav uncle or his anger..He is doing this to Prove to Archana Auntie that he can stand on his own two feet and prove himself.

No mention of Purvi but the truth would be revealed.

Not only Arjun was a liar but so was Archana..

Why did she not walk in and told Ovi that it is not your Baba but Arjun is doing this per my condition..

So Archana is lying to her daughter and husband Manav...to whole Deshmukh family...

This is why I had made this post yesterday abt how manipulative and tricky Archana's ploy is to help Purvi Marry Arjun..She is not against them..She put such a weak-easy challenge in front of Arjun..

I think he was protecting Purvi and Archana by not stating the truth!!..Ovi has lost it, Manav make her see sense and if that includes a slap to bring her back to the real world, so be it!!...Arjun has made it clear he doesnt love her, what more can he do? am sure even if he marries Purvi, it wont be enough to make Ovi see sense!!...

Arjun has already said in front of everyone including Ovi that he does not love Ovi and that he loves Purvi...so he is not a liar. He doesn't want to say this again and again so as not to hurt Ovi more by rubbing it in. If Ovi has pscychiatric issues because of her always getting what she wants and the fact that she is Savita's granddaughter(genes) and unfortunately has had Savita's upbringing...he is not at fault. Ovi's family needs to step up now and get her the help she needs and get her away from Savita granny
