Danulls, I knew you were not being cruel and that it was a rhetorical question. I agree with you that Arjun needs to tell Ovi why he moved away from home and why he is doing it, only because she is his friend. Even if she wasn't his friend, he would still owe her an explanation as to why he went forward with the engagement and an apology. That is common courtesy, one doesn't walk away from an engagement without making an attempt to explain to the girl who was your fiancee.

As to telling Manav why Arjun is doing this, I beg to differ, I don't think Arjun owes an explanation to anyone except initially to Ovi as to what is going on with Purvi and him.

Does Archana need to tell Manav? Yes, certainly especially as Ovi is blaming Manav for the latest happenings. I am hoping she does tell her husband tomorrow. They both now need to jointly come up wih a plan to help their daughter see the truth.

I agree it is totally an assumption that Ovi will make Arjun's and Purvi's lives miserable but knowing how these soaps work, the CVs will turn Ovi into a negative character to add masala to the show. It will be nice if they give it a novel twist instead and show Ovi falling in love with a new guy herself. But I am not holding my breath for that.

As for Archana, telling Ovi that Arjun is not for her, she is right in that as he doesn't love Ovi, but the condition she placed in front of Arjun to get Rs. 10,000 was ridiculous and making him sound unworthy all of a sudden based on his name and lack of standing on his own two feet, I thought was hogwash. This is the same guy they were all waxing poetical about when he was getting engaged to Ovi. Double standards? As I wrote elsewhere, I would have liked it better if Archana had just stuck to the barebones and said you cheated one daughter while loving another so I don't trust you unless you can prove otherwise. Instead we got the Ramayan about her love and her marriage and all that baseless stuff of Arjun being worth nothing by himself sans the Kirloskar name.

How insensitive and cruel it is to pay Ovi's hurt with shares...COmpensating for the pain 😡

It had the same connotation as Ovi giving blank cheque to Purvi..

Its all subjective...How some want to justify one thing and question the other..Cant have double standards...no two measuring rods..

One for Archana and Purvi

Other for Manav and rest of the deshmukhs & Arjun 😳
