I agree.. I hate the character of Archana.. She does not know how to take care of her own children.. but shows love to step son and step daughter.. charity begins at home

She does not know relationships.. cant be frank and honest .. all the time twisting her words. keeping manav confused.. she need a pyscharist

1. Arjun should be treated as a villian A guy who promise to marry ovi in canada and falls in love with indian girl conveiently and have no shame to tell ovi and his purvi while it is going on..

2. Arjun behaviour is supported by his dad drinking together and celebrating.. Love is kind love in not selfish love does not keep wrong doing. and archana mother supports purvi and arjun relationship disgusting

3. Today world has become like that.. people dont respect marriage and commit adutry thinking falling in love in not bad just like archana mother says.. love does not have to be physical and only that type of love.. there are no ethics in society .. gay marriages are also happening thinking love is not wrong as long you fall in love

4. I am in US and keep watching Indian serials.. thinking if the society changed..they still show woman with no self respect.. Purvi is running behind a guy who did not confess to her that he was getting engaged to ovi and fell in love with her

5. Love is honesty truth and open communication..none of this are there in this serial..pavitra rishta looks to be so much un pavitra.. archana character through the serial is potrayed bad.. she has noethics.. she was willing to stand for society rights rather her family, wants to proove love to step son.. if the step son asks her to take drugs .. probably she will she do it. maybe she will to prove her love for her step son..that messed up is that character . what a crap of personality the TV shows

6. I am still looking for serial that shows love to be self respect, trust , honesty and open communication not manupulation, sacrifice with no common sense.. Sacrifce that mother theresa does is love.. not archana character.. mother theresa came and took care of people in need , gave in food sheltor.. god blesses that kind of sacrifice.. not stupid senseles character that archana shows

7. if woman in india follow archana it not love.. and more over god punishes that sacrifice and is not god pleasing .. sacrifice and love should be done like mother theresa.. who you give when you give how u give is important

9. Purvi running in arms of arjun again shows a woman no self respect.. some idot who dont have ethics and tells he love u... u should throw that person out of ur life

10..In the whole serial i like manav.. it is not his fault his life is liket that..he is the one who is try to have open communication.. his sensless archana .. she should have been out of his life long time ago

Sorry i wroter too long.. i like to see some self respect in serials.. i remmember the guy rapes a woman and instead of punishing him.. in this pavitra ristha they get her married to that person

is india still sick in head about woman.. ekta you are woman ..please show some self respect to woman..

I sponsor 6 girlls children in india .. i write to them love god with all your heart and love neightbour as your self.. this implies have self respect and dignity.. dont go with senseless sacrifce taht is not pleasing to god

I had stopped posting in this forum because of this same character, but I don't care today, I had to commend you on the most awesome post I have ever seen in a long time. You are an amazing thinker, and I hope God uses you to make a difference in many more lives.

This is why I was always against this character, and I was misunderstood by many. Ekta has portrayed her in the exact same way you described, I could never had said it any better. Ekta as a woman should portray women who have self-respect and in line with God's will, you are so correct. Her mahaan is not God-like and neither is Purvi and some of the other female characters.

Very nice post.. Even i feel disgusted with the way this show is moving...

Archana could have put those words to Manav in a better way, she could have said, i just came to know about it, Instead she chose to say..Main jaaanthi dhi...so what do someone expect??? Why so much drama, so many lies, so many misunderstandings...

Arjun tells to Purvi, Ovi ko mein jaanta hoon, i know how to get her out of this...reallly????? u gave her all hopes even after engagement, not even once did he tell her(he felt it was for her good)..but then didnt find any problem in accepting his love for Purvi in front of everyone...how disgusting a hero is he????

I was always against this Archana sacrificing for Sachin...really??? So many lives are wasted and what is the guarantee that Manav will go to Shravani when he has not done that in these 18 yrs...what is the meaning of keeping her own children away and not loving them, hugging them and giving them all love they were aloof of for these 18 yrs...instead she is sacrificing everything for a Shravani who is no where in the picture...And if Archana supports Purvi - Arjun relation, that would be another feather to her cap,,,,supporting the guy who broke her daughters heart...

And there is this character Savita, who kept her own son away from happiness by not letting him get back with Archana, creating wrong impression on her kids...and still Archana respects her...how realistic is that??? I really really hate the character of Archana these days...she is not mahaan, she is literally ripping this story apart..there is no more life to this once upon a time good serial...

Hi Sthulluri,

I like your post. You must be new to this serial or you have been watching but have not come on the forum to comment.

There are a lot of us who have protested, complained, begged and bashed Ekta for spoiling her own beautiful serial that started bang on. I have been watching PR and have been on this forum almost since the serial started. A lot of my forum friends could not stand the serial as the serial just kept getting worse and senseless. I am not dedicated to this forum as I used to be. A lot has changed and have gotten uglier over the years. Many good member with good writing and expressing skills have moved on and never turned back.

Ekta is Ekta, her message seems to be..."watch at your own risk"

Akruz fantastic post..totally agree abt Arjun's casual non challant comment abt him knowing Ovi since childhood, being friends and he will make her understand about his love for Purvi...WTH

he was not only rude but was totally insensitive and callous in his comments...He under estimated, undermined and disrespected Ovi's love and friendship...He took her totally for granted...How sad..

Dude should be dumped by both sisters...Until he grows up big time..

Hi,
I don't agree with your post at all. Yes, I do agree ekta is stupid and just tries to portray the characters in her serials as sacrificing ideal ladies BUT the points you have put down among them I want to say that till now arcana did not support Arjun and purvi's relationship. The precap of mondays episode showed how archana was lecturing Arjun about love and she didn't seem at all happy about it. However, I can put myself in purvis situation and think that if a guy I loved like crazy made up for his mistakes and came back to me I would accept him. We don't want to watch serials thats full of unbelievable story lines. If purvi didn't go back to Arjun THEN I would think that there is something wrong with the serial. LOL
Also, I would like to protest against your point where you hbe mentioned the "gay" part. If you don't like the rules surrounded by you in the western world why reside there and make harsh comments about it? Gay marriages and lesbian marriages should only concern the people who want to do it. Who are you to make judgmental comments about it? And if you dislike it so much why don't you write to political leaders of your country rather than writing in an Indian serial based forum.

And if you dislike PR so much then don't watch it but I don't think anything in the world gives you the right to hate on every single character of the show moreover to make harsh comments about the society.

hence am so glad marriages are allowed in some statesof US
