Anyways, coming back to your post. Self-respect has absolutely no place in this show. I feel that Ekta Kapoor has dedicated herself to movie-making now and doesn't care much about the plot of her TV shows. I was reading today that she was recently awarded the "Woman of the year" award. But, that makes me even more mad. Doesn't she have some kind of responsibility towards society as a producer?
I mean "Woman of the year" award for what? For showing PR which is probably one of the current running shows that degrades womanhood. Forget about womanhood, PR degrades human kind.
And as someone mentioned, its tough to see how eroded our society really is that feeds on garbage like the current PR.
Mohini, it was only a few days back we were talking about societal effects of such serials and it is amazing that Balaji corporation is never held responsible for such regressive thinking…I wonder how can a media company get away with such depictions…no disclaimer no coming out and saying that this is not moral and ethically right what they are showing in the serial..it is also true for other serials….they are just making money and nothing else…
