As Archana has done all years since marriage...the most artificial character written...a normal person would never have bear such torture and would have left...

Archana has not had to endure 1/100 of what Manav has had to go thru due to his sasural. Archu and her family has slapped him, fleeced him, put him in jail was the cause of his younger brother's death, the unborn baby's death, Soham getting kidnapped. Archana hasn't had to go thru anything if we compare her to Manav. Any other person had been in Manav's shoes they would have left the Ks long back.

But wait until they become MILs focus will change...They all will have same feeling or hurt as Savita..
Its all relative-subjective to where u are in your life-journey..
R u young and single
R u young and married with no or young children
R u a well matured married woman with a married son as well as married daughter??
Answers will change with each Q..
Nothing wrong in female rights but so do male species have right and their families..
Girls & their families may rock but so do boys and their families..
BTW when Ajit had turned positive and was wrkng with Manav in money lending business, Manav chose to take other dude's word over Ajits when money was missing...That was the beginning of Ajit's rivelry and anger against Manav...Manav was wrong and he should have apologized and fixed things with ajit once he found out Ajit was not the culprit...They were not only friends or working together but also related by marriage..
But if this was Archana's family member Manav would have forgiven and forgotten everything...Look at him trusting Varsha the psycho-child kidnapping sister in his house...But not ajit the gambler...Lopsided relationships and unfair treatments for karanjkars VS Deshmukhs..
House money was not for Ajit...Place could have been bought or rented in Vandu's name...But Archana decided to make that decision on her own w/o Manav or Savita's knowledge or consent..

I love love this post of yours Varsha…I so agree with the underlined sentence….I know from my life experiences, how tough it is to fulfill all the roles I play, when incidences happens that play a tug of war..and perception does change about all relationships with age and playing different roles…with age the concept of love also changes…the importance or the definition of 'love' in a teenagers life is totally different than that of a parent or even a grandparent…

Thanks Kalapi..
We understand our mothers and MILs when we become Parents...
Love at teenage or 20s-30s is much different than in 40s 50s and beyond.
That is why they say people to put themselves in other's shoes to understand..Hopefully we try to b4 we go thru our own experience...But atleast we should try have conscious to be fair in all situations...We are entitled to making our own mistakes and learning but would be good if we could learn it from other's mistakes...Wishful thinking I guess..😳

AW 😛 A HEALTHY ARGUMENT AFTER A VERY LONG TIME 👍🏼i like each comment and agree from most of it but one thing i want to add is that archana didnt help vandu when she need money for survival but vandu is still doing her bhabi jab and dying to bring her back in her brother life .secondly archana manav did many mistakes and karanjhkars always play imp role in destroying and hurting manav family but in the end i m sure cv's will put entire blame on savita and will show all others as angel.

Hi Varsha, I love you too much.
Lots of hugs to you.
I think that ARMAN should learn something from us from this topice that to avoid misunderstandings, one person should step forward to apologize/clear things up right away.

If I look at ARMAN's relationship, prior to Manav leaving for Canada, without anyone's influence, I see both of them l leading a normal life with the regular ups and downs, happy and sad moments. I also have seen Archu standing up for the right thing. Manav loves Archana so much that he had left everything up to Archana to decide...nothing wrong with it as long as it was between their own relationships meaning no arguments exchanged for K's or D's by either Archu or Manav. Archu taking Manav to court because the chawl was gettng taken over...what was the reasoning behind for Archu to do this? Archu was fighting to keep the chawl because that was the place where all D's including Manav had childhood memories and she was fighting to keep it. Did Manav know at that time that the chawl was getting evicted because DK had authorized it? Misunderstandings became greater when the IL...Savita the great, poked her nose and started instigating Manav. Manav was angry but he still loved Archana. Savita is equal to 5 K's put together. Manav is a good kind hearted person. When you love your spouse so much you do have the tendency to not see them hurt and you try to help them with what ever you have either little money or lots of money, meaning what ever it takes to help. From my perspective, Manav did what ever he could do to help her family and he continues to do that today too (not sure after ARVI's relationship exposed).
In the whole serial from start to today, Savita was only nice to Archu when Manav had the money. She is very very gullable and this weakness has caused a lot of grief to her and misunderstandings causing ill relationship. She has openly said it loud (to herself) that I will take away everything that you (Archana) have and keep it for myself. So selfish that she even destroyed Manav's married life and their children lived a life without a mother. In Canada, she had everything...HER MANAV, her GRANDCHILDREN, a grand life. How did she teach a lesson to Archana by doing this. Solo stood up for her daughter angry with Manav because Manav did not have the guts to tell his mother whenever his mother was at wrong.
If Archana mentioned to her mother how and what Savita is, don't we all confide in our mother about what goes on in our ILs house, whether it be good or bad?
I am not saying that Savita or Solo are bad women, just that Savita is worse than Solo. It is survival of the fitist...

Tulsey dear you forgot one big component 😉...We do not have EK & her CVs writing or controlling our lives 😆
Right on sistah 👏

You are right abt Archana not helping when Vandu really needed help...FIst time when she was burned by Rasika, She was aware of the abuse but never let Manav know or did anything to bring her out..She could have gone to Mahila samaj and put a stop to the abuse by putting Ajit in jail or having him arrested for domestic violence..Even Rassi would have ended up in jail..Archu did not help Vandu When she needed money for Ajit to start business and yet again Savita wanted to get a place for Vandu..😳

your are right Varsha that Archu could have done a lot of right things but Archana was not empowered. In most cases she did not even know when incidents happened and other times Vandu gave promise to Archu not to tell anyone.
When Vandu asked for money for the first time, Archana stopped from giving the money because she had over heard the conversation between Vandu's husband and MIL. If it was for Vandu, Archu had no problem but for the right cause.
When Vandu overheard Ajit and Rasika's conversation as how Rasika's plot of destroying the good relationship between Archu and Savita, Vandu did not do anything. She did not even go to D's to warn Savita of Rasika's intentions. Time heals and Vandu also knows now how Manav and Savita are and she also knows about Archu that her heart is in the right place.
