I was posting in another thread that pushing sometimes does happen during a hubby/wife fight, and a young girl said that Di, since it happens doesn't make it right. I absolutely agree with her, because domestic violence happens it does not make it right. It is a fact that PR has shown way too much violence from the beginning (for whatever reason , for TRPs, for storyline), but we have yet to see PR team to come out and public acknowledge that violence is wrong or even put a disclaimer to that effect.

The other fact is, even if this (and other scenes) were done to show some effect, even than I believe adequate protections must to taken to avoid untoward incidences…because accidents does happen and could turn ugly and very serious in no time…I do hope Ankita has taken a tetanus injection just to be safe…so both on moral and personal safety ground Cvs need to be aware of how and what they should/need to do…

gemstar hope you don't mind me saying this I would recommend to try to stay on topic. Varsha Di had made this topic as a request to Ekta and the CVs to not to show physical abuse kind of scenes as such scenes should not be shown at all no one would want to see a husband pushing their wife this way though Manav's anger was justified but the CVs should not show such scenes. Both Hiten and Ankita would not be in favor of this script. But the topic was not really made to bash an actor/character. Hope you don't mind me saying this I just don't think we should be going off topic.

Gemstar..the post was for the Cvs in protest of what they have always shown us...not for actor/actress who are just doing their job...

True, Rubina did come out against that track, but what about the Kahna track..just becoz it is on God does it makes it more believable...black magic should be condemned and she did, but I could not identify with the kanha track too...nor did she protest against countless other totally other violent tracks she did protray...

In here I feel, it not just to pick just Ankita...what about Ajit, Rasika, Vandu, Savita, Manju and countless others who all did some kind of violent /abusive tracks or actor/actress in other serial too...they all need to protest and not do these tracks...well I guess in that case, we will not have any serial whatsoever in this world...maybe that for the best...maybe you are being hard on these actor/actress who are just doing a job to entertain us...

a way needs to be shown about how to come out of that situation or how to save anybody from that situation

just completely not showing domestic violence is not the solution from real society point of view

then what sort of a woman she is ?

archana didn't teach dharmesh a lesson

rather she encouraged vaishali to go and stay back with him which is so demeaning for women

in the process she chose to manipulate madhuri's life

Yes, I agree with you in this day and age, it is not enough just to show the cause or the issue, but an acceptable and/or a constructive solution is also needed to be built in these serials..yes, I agree it is not enough to show just the issue...yes, the serials (including people involved) do have a moral obligation to the society at large...like your point...that is why I said in one of my post, Ekta never openly condemned the violence in her shows or put in a disclaimer...point well taken...

But as it is going far,Just wish to say, the Topic was made by Varsha di on another issue and different intention such that the viewpoint of the Viewers could be placed to the Cvs making the Show.

It was a Humble request and attempt to make the Tv makers Know the Viewpoints of the audience and what they Prefer. what can be done.

agree that actors do abject some serious tracks which they think that it spoils the character they portray or the message or track they doesn't like the Most. But then they do finally act on so many Lousy tracks at last as finally they had to work and do it for their sake.

and the Underlined statement was the Bang on one.
Ofcourse all serials do have that. If we thought oh what BS is this and if we try to saw other then that has even more BS content.

And the Last line too was correctly said.

At last, they are Actors who are Just doing their JOB for themselves and meanwhile entertain us too.
They too belong to a profession and Do what their Profession asks for. If we think off, even at our workplaces, most of us ,may be many times wouldn't have agreed with what we have been told to or whats going on.
But then will carry on with ours and do work even though we dont agree at times.
Atlast work as to be Done and we are working for the Mutual benefits.
So even though we may have ideologies and certain ethics,at time, Bending or doing a adjustment is needed.

And ofcourse agree on the fact, as a actor/actress ,portraying something on media, they do have a responsibility on their side to object things when it goes out of the Box.
But I suspect and really wish to Know do they really have powers and Voice over the Production head or Production House in such cases.
Can they really do something.
Because all Time if I see any On set segment shown in SBB or SBS , we always see the actors humorously commenting on the tracks they portray and try to convey indirectly that they are not ok with it , With the Humour content they themselves tease or pass comments on the track they act.
Actually Have seen many in PR too. About the Divorce-marriage-Divorce-Marriage talks.
