Of course Archana went overbvoard but Tulsey , Archana is not a mother like you or me ...her mothering skills have been questioned again and again and again ...She has been accused of murdering her son , her daughters cal her a bad mother day in and day out ...and along this woman just lives for them , prays for them... sacrifices for them...

I think Archana is a very frustrated woman inside .She tries her best to stay positive , spiritual and all that but sheis human after all...

this woman did so much for everyone but now at this stage of her life ...only has Purvi to show for ...

her mother and her husband have taken away everything good that she ever did ...

so maybe that is why she is a bit extra sensitive when it comes to Purvi and her mothering skills ...

I have this bad feeling that Arjun will find out that Purvi's mother slapped her and in a rage he will go straight to Manav's house and tell everyone there ( including Ovi ) that he is in love with Purvi and no one can do anything about this ...then it wil lmake it looks even mroe so that Purvi was after him or somethgn like that ...

Totally agree with you Tanya. I would never even begin to think that Archu has any faults when it comes to her kids. A lot of it is due to trust in people (her sister) and being alone (thanks to Savita). She is surrounded by people (vinod)(savita) who hate her guts and always want to prove her wrong. Putting too too much trust on someone can backfire.

I would have expected to see her barge into the party and huged her daughter and then asking questions and playing a bit low so that she had a chance to hear out Purvi. She did not even ask Purvi. The discussion could have continued at home rather than making a scene proving Purvi right when Purvi herself didn't budge with an answer. Too much drama of slapping and slapping does not lead anywhere. One slaps only those who we think are less than ourselves or younger. So not right to do. Slapping should be banned. The CV's should show that people can resolve issues by talking and not by behaving like animals.

i agree Tanya that Archu is just wrung out with life...she no koach left ...my heart breaks for her...but i have to say that archana has set the stage for some of this by all of her "keeping of secrets' ...thinking people will be hurt to know the truth... The TRUTH is people are hurt 1,000x more when so many secrets are kept.. My greatest wish would be that Archana and Manav both would take a good long hard look at themselves and realize how much harm has come from all this shielding and holding everything in.
