yes , this whole slapping thing is getting just too much now .

there is just too much hate in this show and it is getting worse , no hope for anything good to happen...3 more months of utter torture till the divorce date comes and then all of a sudden , Manav and Archana forgiving savita ...

so predicatble ...

right now I am sitting with my son and watching Euro 2012 andthe lap top is with me so I am just chatting with friends because this show is just not worth it any more ...

the basic story line is so bad ...this whole nonsense about sacrifice has killed this show ...

Manju n Savita, the two LS ladies...the fight was as downmarket as they themselves are...wats with those ugly expressions, loudness and clenching teeth, evil smiles...its just so disgusting🤢

Ovi...the insecure lady...who is blaming Purvi for everything...n not even bothered to confront her BABIE about the matter...coz she is scared of losing hm!!!!!!!! She'll just do this drama of headache, sickness n seek his attention🤢

And the silliest is Purvi n Arjun...Today, Purvi was really acting silly...in this age of technology, she wants to first meet Arjun n then tell him the matter...atleast send him a SMS so that he can get alert...wasting so much time on phone yahan mile wahan mile...in all that time she cud hav summarized wat happened at the party...but no, they hav to meet, get wet in rain together so that somebody can see them...n then SLAPS SLAPS!!!!!!!!😕

n lastly, I dun think Archana is wrong in slapping Purvi...but yeah...Arjun deserves 10 times the slaps Purvi has got!!!!!!!

I agree with what you wrote but would also like to say: that though it would have been better to SMS Arjun about the situation. She was scared and did not know what to do or who to turn to and of course she was nothing thinking clearly.

Now Anchu will slap her in anger but when she finds out the truth of how Purvi was willing to sacrifice her love for Arjun for her sister's happiness, I really hope that she will be sorry because that is the same thing that she did in the past for Manav and the girls happiness and all of this was done by Savita.

It seems to be a repeat of sacrificing.

To date Manav don't know the real reason why Anchu gave up her kids.

When will Ovi and Teju find this out. Savita is doing her crap and getting away with it and now and poor Purvi will get all the blame as she is an adopted daughter.

So sad...

Tulsey , I think Archana is only a good mother to Purvi...not to Ovi , Teju and Soham..she has rejected Ovi and Teju in favour of sachin...

Good episode in terms of acting and exposing the characters. But Purvi dissapointed me quite a bit... whats is it dear Purvi, I didnot think you were so weak to tell your mom amd Aaji for whom I believe you kept shut all this time.

I am sure Purvi is still in love with Arjun and may be she is doing all this to see what Arjun can do, or has left it completely to him to sort it out. Cvs just wreck the characters badly. I loved Arjun, Purvi and Dk... all three of them have been messed up

I plan to to just see what these writers are upto for the rest of the week.

I hated the way they are shwoing Teju siding Arjun ..

All in all I am not at all happy with the writings...Big thumbs down for the crappy writing... 😡

I really wish that in the coming episodes till the ArVi mess is resolved, Arjun also goes through some pain.😡 very unfair that in front of all co-workers, time and again Purvi goes through so much humiliation. Arjun should go through also...Purvi is also a very busy worker in the office.. how come it is Arjun witht he work pretext, gets to be away from all the masala drama and Purvi goes through all the crap..

I am angry at Purvi for not telling her mom everything, but, at the same time .. feel miserable for her, for going through all this all by herself...

Purvi call Arjun ..""ARJUN""...Arjun don't see that strange...and even Purvi voice seem ...she was in bad state...Arjun didn't even feel that...he knows Purvi since months and months ago...he don't even feels that this girl want to talk to him cause she had prob...till the engagement it the first time PUrvi call Arjun and said I want to talk to you...for Arjun..everything is normal...why ????

why he don't ask Purvi;.any thing wrong...whta happen???you seem to have prob ..tell to me..ect...this is how true lover...is...not like Arjun here...😡 he was so calm.and relax.when he was talking with Purvi and on the other side poor girl was in great prob and Panic...

Purvi was so vulnerable and in a big guilty state...that now she decide to finish with Arjun...break for ever..
Mistake she done...she don't tell ARchu.about Arjun...she always think that she can handle everyprob..but sometime even adult we need our parents..or and older one ..just to advice us..

Feel very sorry for Purvi. 1 slap from Ovi and will have 2 slaps from archana.

And Arjun didn't have any. Purvi should slap him 3 times. 😡 This all because of him.

Dear Thanee,

A truly excellent post. It sums up almost everything important about the Arjun-Purvi interaction yesterday.

We are now heading for the crash in PR.

Purvi, since she has the great disadvantage of having a conscience, is now consumed with guilt and very close, I feel, to the breaking point.

She has no one to talk things over with - her one attempt to screw her courage to the sticking point (to quote Lady Macbeth egging Macbeth on to murder, not the happiest of similes!) and tell her aaji (not her aai) the truth is stymied when Archana and Manav turn up, dripping sympathy (enough of it, from Manav, to even thaw the icicles around Sulochana's heart; she even offers to make him tea!).

Purvi simply cannot face going to the office, and cannot stand her aaji going on and on about how her parents believe in her and why then should she feel so upset.

So, in desperation, she calls her fool of a boyfriend, and they arrange to meet some place the address of which he is to SMS her.

Now, this time, even I am in agreement with the Arjun-bashers in the forum (Janhvi, please take a bow as Basher No.1, the most articulate of the lot!)😉.

It is not because he does not call Purvi as soon as he gets back. She has been ice-cold to him of late, and it is not surprising that he does not call her, especially as he does not know that anything is amiss.

It is not even because that he talks very normally with Ovi, wondering why she sounds out of sorts, though that is strange enough in a chap who says he is ready now to break off with her. But then, he has always been that way with her, perfectly normal, and this, in the final analysis, will add a lot of weight to the accusations against Purvi- that he would have been ok with Ovi if Purvi had not set out to entrap him.

It is really that, as Thanee has brought out so eloquently, he does not even ask Purvi what is wrong and why she is sounding so desperate. If one loves a girl, and she sounds so upset and panic-stricken over the phone, the first thing one would do would be to find out what was wrong and try to comfort her as best as one can. Not our Arjun.

He does not ask a single anxious question, though Purvi sounds as though she is in a blue funk - totally unlike her usual self - and is so keen on meeting him at once, not to speak of her dropping the 'Sir' and calling him Arjun, that a whole lot of warning bells should have started ringing in his head.

Instead, he talks about where to meet as if it were a routine appointment. It is totally incomprehensible, and it makes one think very poorly of Arjun.

I cannot see how, as some have suggested, that Punni could have leaked the Arjun-Purvi meeting place to Archana. She sits outside the cabin, and not at the switchboard, and in any case, Arjun and Purvi are talking on their mobiles.

Despite this, if Archana has found out about their rendezvous, it must by thru some other channel or by pure accident. She then slaps Purvi twice, hard. At least the sound effect is quite impressive!

Now I suppose Purvi will confess everything to Archana ad seriatim. Let us see what happens then. Also what Arjun and Purvi say to each other at that meeting, and what they decide about the(ir) future.

One curious point is that when Purvi is coming back home, she does not look as distraught as she did earlier, but almost normal. Archana's onslaught would of course have immediately put paid to any such lightening of her mood, but what was it that caused her to be more cheerful? It can only have been her meeting with Arjun (in the rain, needless to add).

While I do feel very sorry for Purvi, who has landed in a particularly thorny briar patch for no fault of hers (the fault is all Arjun's , though in good part unwittingly, because he is so STUPID), I also feel strongly that she has brought this latest round of humiliation on herself. As I had stressed in my cul de sac post, she should have told Arjun or Manav about Punni and her machinations, and that would have prevented the Friday catastrophe, and all that is now following from that.

Well, PR is getting worse by the day, and is fast becoming an endurance contest for the viewer. I am getting sick of Arjun and almost equally so of Purvi.

I do however feel for her in her present unenviable plight, since she clearly is, and will be, the lone sufferer in all this.
Arjun will get away scot free; that is the way of our world.

As I had mentioned once before, even a platoon of girl friends in plain view would not make Ovi break off the engagement.

No wonder I prefer writing about Laurie's novel to posting about the latest PR episodes.
