The 'Clumsy Girl' scene came from the Valentine's Day episode (02/14/2012).
I will let you in on a little secret to my writing. If I ever mention or reference an actual scene from PR I will always give the date of the episode somewhere in the chapter. I like to be a little cryptic sometimes to see if the audience can figure it out 😉
.
Hope you enjoy the upcoming installments 😃

My name is Jyothi..thanks for your help...
Your writing is amazing.. !! I am enjoying every word of it... we can literally visualize arjun and purvi and their reactions in every scene with your words.. your story is a balm to our anguish over the debacle that it has become in the real story...
thank you so much.. will wait for the next chapter from you impatiently !! :):)

Dear Laurie,
It is only my 3rd read--
-Simply love the dialogues at tea, very apt- and i had not caught that Janhvi- Purvi's mom having the pen 😉...Shyamala's practical and very wise advice (which is why the Obi van title to her)-..."Fates can be cruel but we are masters of our own destinies..."
-Loved your quoting Tagore in there was like icing on the cake...
-Finally saw the pen episode, hats off to you for such brilliant imagination and handily tying to that episode...
-To see Arjun/Rithvik blush...oh what i would not give to see that look!!! 😍
-Arjun's flat- "Even if it takes me seven lifetimes...I will right all the wrongs..." - please Arjun don't wait for the next lifetime, your FLOWER will have wilted by then!!!
-Purvi - getting into the car- wanting to open the window to enjoy the rain- you tied it from when Arjun gives her a lift and in the car she opens the window and he says- "Yeh kya kar rahi ho"...as she enjoys the rain...AND there in we have the title- THE RAGING STORM!!!
-Talking about island (from Shyamala's quote)...if they are shipwrecked- Arjun better have his coat on - so he can cool-ly and gentlemanly-put it around her to protect her from the cold...😳
lol and many thanks Laurie...just want to sip a cup of green T and enjoy reading this again and again...and again...until we get the next one...😍🤗

Faced with such lavish compliments, I seem to be constantly saying "What can I say?', which is becoming rather repetitive, besides not being particularly eloquent in the first place!

I am glad you enjoy what I write, for that is the greatest joy of all for any writer, no matter how amateur or how professional. When you write for public consumption, you are like an actor on a stage, and the most depressing thing for you in not criticism, but indifference. So, when one gets such warm comments, it peps you up more that the bubbly.

This said, not being very familiar with emoticons, I am busy looking for one that will say 'blushing'. Any help in locating this will be received with becoming gratitude!

Shyamala

Hi Shyamala,

Agree about the indifference part.
Blushing emoticon ? Here you go -
(cut-n-paste from here where ever you require. Not that you require it often 😛)

Laurie,
Does this Arjun also has Purvi's anklet somewhere in his coat pockets? 😉

Remember that scene from Purvi's engagement? Actual episode showed us Arjun returning the anklet to Purvi under Vinay's prying eyes. How about maybe later it just slipped out of Purvi's hands to be once again destined to be found by none other than Arjun who couldn't return it bcos of all the drama that happened later that day? Forgot for a few days and had been keeping it close to him ever since, as a remembrance of his flower? 😉

Dear Bee5.

I do hope so, and in any case, even if the PR CVs were blind (as usual), to the possibilities a payal opens up, Laurie can always opt for creative licence and get the payal back to Arjun. It is a classical love token, and FAR more romantic than a pen.

Just think of what Laurie can make of the scene when Arjun kneels at Purvi's feet and fastens the payal round her ankle. In the old days, the blushing maiden would have had slender bare feet, which would have made the fastening procedure more elegant. But Arjun has to make do with what he has, and one hopes that despite having had no practice in such matters, he knows how to avoid getting the payal entangled in the straps of Purvi's flats. Also that Purvi uses Krack cream regularly; badly chapped heels would be most off-putting even for a devoted and uncritical lover!

Then again, if Arjun can rhapsodize over something so mundane as a pen just because it had once belonged to his love, it says a great deal for the strength of his passion for Purvi!

Dear Shyamala,
Your imagination is limitless! 😃 You just take off .. krack cream and what not .. 😆
I know, payal scene would be so romantic ..and more plausible from the state of love he was in at that point. Actually that is why I threw it out here 😉

Dear Laurie,
Finally I caught up! I am so happy that I did. These are absolutely beautiful posts! You can write a romantic novel on ArVi or find the investors and make a movie, it will be hit. We have many creative writers on this forum along with you. Excellent job!🤗

What can I say - stud puppy has a special place in my heart so I may not be as hard on him as I should be 😉 🤣

'My Arjun' or should I say Archana's ladla beta has many facets and hopefully I can convey them to you all 😃
@ bold - I am honored😊 but lol, please don't tell me my Arjun bashing so got to you that you had to take up the cudgels on his behalf!!😆 He could not have asked for a better person, I am loving your characterization of him. ⭐️👏

Somewhat 😉

I'm on the side of true love. ❤️ 😍

We have this guy in the office who's supposed to be taking care of these things but his damn diaper keeps falling off and he's always missing his deadlines.

So I have to step in when he's "indisposed" to make sure the world doesn't go into a cataclysmic shock from a lack of lovin' 🤣
