Oh my dear Abhi - you seem to be the only one who caught that 😉 🤣
How very, very perceptive of you my friend 😃
I tried to do justice by you and each of the ladies based on their style of writing - personalities are hard to capture if you've never really met but you all seem so vivid to me 😃
I'm trying to introduce a little Laurie humor in here somewhere 🤣

Dear Laurie,

One question that teases me: Arjun says he switched his pen with hers. If he had simply pinched her pen, which must have been a pretty ordinary affair, there would have been no problem. But he left his pen in its place. Now his must have been, at the very least, a Mont Blanc. What do you think Purvi would have done when she came back to the conference table and found that, like Aladdin, she had got a brand new upmarket pen in return for her old one?

As for telepathy, it does work when the bond is very strong, not just between lovers but also between a mother and her children. I was so pleased that you had thought of this for Arjun-Purvi, it instantly takes them to a different and higher plane.

As for all the cameos, they are uniformly neat, and I am sure all of us would have liked them a lot. All the more so as you have decided to make us 'lovely', an adjective that I would be a tad hesitant to apply to myself, though I not at all bad-looking, especially when, as my son used to say when he was a little boy, when I have "put my face on"!

You know, Laurie, now that you are doing so very well with your story, there is another great plus for me, and I dare say for many of us in the forum. It is that we need not now bother so much about what happens to Arjun and Purvi in PR, which is bound to be anything but satisfactory judging from the way things are moving. Instead, we can cocoon ourselves with your Arjun and Purvi and be at peace. So, I am sure, will you.

Shyamala

Dear Shyamala -
'My Arjun' is very smart and extremely perceptive. If he gave Purvi his Mont Blanc she would have known it was him who pinched her pen 🤣 so he traded hers for one of his office supplies. He wasn't sure why he wanted it in the first place - must be that telepathic connection and I also suppose he traded pens because he wanted her to have something he touched as well 😉
I agree with you about the mother-child relationship. My mum always 'knew' what I was up to before I knew myself 🤣
You are all lovely to me. Beauty is not just skin deep. It comes from the soul and to me, based on your writings and passions for my ARVI, I can tell that you all are very lovely 😳
I hope I can continue to entertain you all at this level 😳

Dear, dear Laurie, I dropped in griping and moping as I haven't had a chance to check the updates today and what do I get? Manna from the heavens, a gift from the gods, a virtual treat at the Savoy!!
You have outdone yourself! I loved the way you portrayed the 7 Lovelies! Yes, I got it along with Abhi, our conversation was right along the lines of how we come across!😆 I had to laugh out loud at the term Himalayan! But at the rate you are going, endearing Arjun to all, I might have to relent and accept an apology the size of the Rockies or the Alps instead!!
As Abhi says, you enrapture, enthrall and hold us captive with this web that you have woven around Arjun and Purvi!! What a subtle touch, you tied Arjun's I love Purvi right back to the first chapter, gave me the chills!
The pen, hmm, who knew Arjun had it in him? Hidden depths, untold and unfelt sensibilities, our Arjun has become quite the man, thanks to you!
Shyamala is right we worry less and less about Arjun and Purvi in PR as we now have our own ARVI ensconced within this magical world that you have conjured up to delight us!
Bewitching! Mindblowing, Spellbinding! Cannot wait for the next chapter! Dil maange more! 👏

LAURIE!!!!!! What an awesome chapter!!! Thank u so much for the cameo :). I do feel that the 7 of us have become great friends and a soothing cup of tea with young Mr. Kirloskar is just the perfect afternoon...count me in anytime!!!

Now as to the chapter...absolutely loved it...and especially the attention to detail in regards to the pen. I love noticing the small details nobody else does...almost always it's the little things that wind up being the biggest part or a story!! And the trip to London for Purvi. Very fitting. Just as It happened to end up being Purvis company that AK/Manav bought..thereby ending young AK to India in the first place...closiing the circle with Purvi going to London in the same coincidental manner is right on! Making the next chapter, of course, the one we are all going to be holding our breaths for!!!!

Keep it coming girl 😆

Who in the world can think of including audience in a story, only you can do it, Laurie. This is one of a kind and so are you!

The cameos and the telepathic touch were both excellent.

RD! & Karan Dhanjani!! Both were a bit spooky for me 😆. In the beginning the concierge guy, RD, left me a little confused .. but later I literally stopped when I read "Karan Dhanjani". I could continue reading only after a few seconds.😆

Enjoy chapter 5 and being part of the tea-party at Savoy. Thank you for including me.

👏 You have this innate brilliance about putting in words, expressing so eloquently, what one only thinks...and you express it so beautifully...so free flowingly...the practicality of it all...i just feel like listening to you...you sound like Obi One (spelling?) from Star Wars...the wise one...beautifully and well put...
Hence, that justifies my spending hours watching old ARVI scenes and reading this forum...
😆
👏

Dear Shyamala,
I second everything that Abhi wrote about you. More so for your comments on Laurie's Part 5 of the story.
You are so effortlessly expressive. You not just catch even the minutest things, that even I would have observed, but you write about them and do it so perfectly.

The 'Clumsy Girl' scene came from the Valentine's Day episode (02/14/2012).
I will let you in on a little secret to my writing. If I ever mention or reference an actual scene from PR I will always give the date of the episode somewhere in the chapter. I like to be a little cryptic sometimes to see if the audience can figure it out 😉
Hope you enjoy the upcoming installments 😃

Dear Laurie, had to come back for a second read, third read, this is getting as addicting as, er, ahem, RD's face!😳 Noticed some finer nuances - the pen ended up with me? Purvi's mom? was that intended? Archana soothing her erring boy just as a mother would, that was funny! You are too clever! Cannot wait for Karan D and Arjun to have a face off!
If only the reel story enfolded like this, sigh!
Again, well done!👏
