Insiders maintain that this timeline adjustment is purely a creative choice and not a result of release window congestion.

Trade sources indicate that the visual effects department had been working under tight deadlines and the schedule was beginning to feel unrealistic. The delay allows the artists to refine the world-building and action sequences without compromise.

The move also clears the holiday slot in December 2025, where Alpha was previously positioned alongside Ikkis, starring Agastya Nanda. With its new release in mid-April 2026, the film will now enjoy a wider, less competitive window.
