So I am not part of the tea group..grrr..that is probably writers group..
When I read previous Karma group, Purvi's balcony scene "I love you" I thought it was either Karma group owner or Arjun...Nicely done, so it is her mind
The timing of Arjun's feeling and Purvi's feeling are in sync.. nice
Karma group owner name is Karan Dhanjani!!!! thank god you didnt name him Rithvik/Mahesh Dhanjani. Again when you used Arjun & RD during pen search, was bit confused.. it took sometime to translate RD to Reception Desk guy.
I love that 'Clumsy girl' part in PR episode..have seen it couple of times..nicely used in your chapter.
Please remember to include me in your next party..
vilasini

My dear Vilasini - Please don't take it to heart. I will be sure to include you the next time I try to blur the lines a bit. I couldn't cast for very many as the piece may have not worked. I will try my best to make everyone feel welcomed 😃
To be honest, I was at a loss for names 😆 and Rithvik's name kept circling in my head. Must probably be due to that small crush I have on him 🤣
Thank you for being a part of this with me 🤗

like I keep saying, the CVs need to not just borrow your thoughts but actually think like you..😳⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Your chapters are so beautiful and loving 😳
Loved the setting (Savoy hotel) and how you are bringing Purvi all the way to London. Oh me gosh.. am so excited and looking forward to how their reunion will look like!😳.. can't wait..😍 that too, in London!☺️😍
I loved how Purvi heard him say I love you .. across continents.. wonderful description😳 I know you will do major justice to their reunion!👏
Wonderful Laurie... This is really awesome fan fiction!👏👏👏👏👏👏⭐️
Trish

Many thanks Trish 😃 {Laurie curtsies}
'My Arjun' is so in love with 'his Purvi' that he stole her pen and is carrying it around with him. I wonder what the acutal cast would think of that little number? 🤣
'My ARVI' is linked forever - heart, mind and soul 😍
The Savoy is one of my favey hotels in London so naturally it was the first one that came to mind.
If I could only tell you how many scenarios have crossed my mind about this reunion - some PG and others... 😳 🤣
Let's see which one wins 😉

Thanks for the delicious tea at the "Savoy"...hmmm...still savoring it...and for my cameo appearance in this chapter 5...☺️ 7 sisters...and that too in such superb company...am flattered...
Now starts the excitement...oooh...can feel the butterflies in my stomach...with all the excitement...I do hope Arjun will take Janhvi's advice (i think it was her) and totally SWEEEP Purvi off her feet...
TOTALLY agree with Shyamala about the TELEPATHY between ARVI depicting the deep love between Arjun and Purvi and that as Shyamala aptly said catapults them into a different league of lovers...that was tooo tooo good...very romantic and beautiful...like it came from the depths of the heart...
I had missed the pen episode and where Arjun calls her a "clumsy girl"...will look for it again...
Laurie, hats off to you, you rivet, revive, capture...enrich...excite...with your writing and make our dils mange more MORE MORE...so much so that we can visualize each scene, each feeling...OMG...its absolutely AMMMAZZZiiinnnggg!!
👏⭐️👍🏼
Many thanks for this added treat...
Can't wait for Purvi's arrival to London...Loved the names too, waiter RD, Owner of Karma= Karan Dhanjani...love it all...

You are welcome Abhi 😃 Tea at the Savoy is one of my favourite things whenever I visit London and I'm glad to share it with you guys. I hope you like your little cameo. 😉
Yes, yes, the story can finally move forward. I too have been waiting for this day 🤣
'My ARVI' will always have that je ne sais quoi for me so I hope I can bring that across to all of you 😃

Thank you for reading Jdronamraju (your name dear?) 😃
The 'Clumsy Girl' scene came from the Valentine's Day episode (02/14/2012).
I will let you in on a little secret to my writing. If I ever mention or reference an actual scene from PR I will always give the date of the episode somewhere in the chapter. I like to be a little cryptic sometimes to see if the audience can figure it out 😉
Hope you enjoy the upcoming installments 😃

@Laurie - 👏
Wonderful yet again. At first when I came on to the forum this morning I thought - do my eyes deceive or did Laurie update Ch 5 already? It was such a pleasant treat.

Loved how you incorporated the wonderful ladies from the forum into your tale. Arjun seriously needed that kind of advice and we all know he wasn't going to get it from the Ks and Ds. Eagerly waiting for the next part.

Thank you Nina 😃 it was a part that didn't let me sleep until I uploaded it 🤣
I try to do things a little differently sometimes - especially to engage the audience 😃
Oh yes, he needed the sound advice of the IF ladies... I was there to make sure he heard it 🤣
Hope you enjoy the next installments 😃

Dear Laurie,

One question that teases me: Arjun says he switched his pen with hers. If he had simply pinched her pen, which must have been a pretty ordinary affair, there would have been no problem. But he left his pen in its place. Now his must have been, at the very least, a Mont Blanc. What do you think Purvi would have done when she came back to the conference table and found that, like Aladdin, she had got a brand new upmarket pen in return for her old one?

As for telepathy, it does work when the bond is very strong, not just between lovers but also between a mother and her children. I was so pleased that you had thought of this for Arjun-Purvi, it instantly takes them to a different and higher plane.

As for all the cameos, they are uniformly neat, and I am sure all of us would have liked them a lot. All the more so as you have decided to make us 'lovely', an adjective that I would be a tad hesitant to apply to myself, though I not at all bad-looking, especially when, as my son used to say when he was a little boy, when I have "put my face on"!

You know, Laurie, now that you are doing so very well with your story, there is another great plus for me, and I dare say for many of us in the forum. It is that we need not now bother so much about what happens to Arjun and Purvi in PR, which is bound to be anything but satisfactory judging from the way things are moving. Instead, we can cocoon ourselves with your Arjun and Purvi and be at peace. So, I am sure, will you.

Shyamala

Dear Shyamala,
I am so happy you like this installment. It was so much fun to write 😃 You are welcome for the cameo... I hope I did you justice 😉
I tried to capture the essence of ARVI as I see them. There are so many nuances to scenes that color this couple for me and I hope I can bring some of them to light in this fiction.
Thank you for catching the subtle reference to telepathy. I believe that people do have telepathic connections on certain levels depending on the level of emotional intensity they share with each other. ARVI for me is off the charts 😃
I LOVE the idea of them being marooned on a deserted island rekindling 'their fire' over coconut water
😆 Oh the possibilities 😆

Dear Laurie,

Oh yes, I did, and so will the rest of the forum - enjoy this unexpected bonus, I mean.

You are one clever girl: whoever would have thought of Arjun making off with Purvi's pen so early on in their relationship? When he did not even now what he was getting into at that. A very deft twist, and you have spun it into a whole, utterly natural and delightful chapter. Conjuring up something so entertaining and yet solid out of an airy nothing calls for special skills, above all that of imagination. That, Laurie, you obviously have in spades!

The telepathy touch is also admirable. I loved it. So much, much better than simply making it something imagined by Purvi. It is part of the lore about le grand amour between two people who are halves of a whole, that when one feels anything very deeply - especially great sorrow or pain - the other senses an echo of that feeling. Remember Laila and Majnu - when he is whipped, the same red weals appear on her back.

By showing that Arjun and Purvi are linked by a love so deep and strong that it makes them telepathic, you have elevated them to the pantheon of the classic lovers. Most of those -Romeo & Juliet, Shirin-Farhad, Laila-Majnu, Antony-Cleopatra, Hero-Leander - came to a tragic end, but I am sure that in your hands, Arjun and Purvi will be spared any such fate.

Your tale has now settled down to a nice, smooth flow, and if there are eddies and bubbles, it reminds me of champagne and not of rapids ahead. At least for the present. So we can settle down to enjoy it without any immediate fears of a shipwreck. If ever there should be one, I am sure you will find a nice, sunny uninhabited isle where the two can get acquainted all over again, over coconut water, if not masala chai!

Oh yes, thanks for my very nice little cameo. I am truly flattered to be included in this exclusive group of the Seven Sisters!

Once again, warmest congratulations on your thriving new baby, and take care.

Shyamala
