Jai .. saw the link again ...
loved Archana's expressions when she says " bahut khoobsorat thi kya woh"🤣.. she's jealous!😆
there are many hundred such scenes between Arman in PR ... all handled with equal sensitivity .. and love.

Jai, thanks for posting the link - what a simple and beautiful scene as you say. How superbly they have conveyed their feelings - excellent, excellent actors both of them - the tenderness in his eyes, the shy, simple sweetness of his love is so touching. Her alarm, her jealousy and her realization is all so well portrayed.

Yes, scenes like this would leave us all begging for more.
On the aside, whatever happened to that nice sweet Manav, when did he turn into this confused, bumbling excuse of a husband?

that was a lovely link Jai ..thanks ...
In the earlier part of the show , Manav could understand everything that Archana was going through ...they did not need to talk to each other , only their eyes used to do the talking ...
But now in PR part 2 , we should not expect the same because now Manav is a totally different character ...

@You are welcome all my dears , guess all our dears enjoyed the old golden memories of Arman...
The initial CV's during the first half of PR are completely different from the current one. They knew the right way to strike chord with the audience.Every simple scene of Arman struck so much chord with the audience. The main theme of Arman was simplicity when really made them different from other couples and had a huge fan following.Scenes like the one like posted ,it was a very simple scene but the impact it struck was due that unique touch of love, innocence, romance that the CV's mixed into it which brought the best out of Sushita.
I believe these CV's need to come back or the current set of CV's need to look back and think/take some tips from their former colleagues on the thought process.
I believe that the current CV's don't have basically much idea of the entire story-line of the show hence we so much character inconsistencies.Actors changing does not mean the entire character changes. They needed to give audience a different shade of Manav with the root of his originality still being there (that original Manav we all know) to strike the chord with the audience but instead they assassinated both Manav n Archu characters very badly making Manav a villan and Archu a unfortunate distraught woman who likes to take pain and be a disgrace.
Unless the CV's dont align their thought process to the USP of the show , I dont see the TRP's going up any time soon.

Jai, I like your post (like button doesn't work again 😭)
I started watching PR when Damo was in the hospital and Archu was still married to Manav first time around but was going to leave him, I remember her running into the hospital room and even Sulo melting on seeing her. The hopeless helplessness on Manav's face was so poignant, it stayed with you hours after you had watched the show. I miss that part of Manav. This Manav shows no remnants of those feelings for Archu sadly.

i actually saw the ARVI scene at lunch, and i don't think Arjun could have done any better. He cannot be cold to Purvi, he knows her from work, he is her boss. But he cannot be overly warm to her as he cannot give away more - more than the looks and eye locks they share...i am sure his heart skips many beats to see Purvi there, some from nervousness but mostly from the love of his life being there and yet him being in a rock and a hard place- that he cannot disclose anything openly- cannot claim his love- that Purvi is my life- so i thought it was a neat little trick, as posted in one of the earlier posts- i forget who- Shyamala or Laurie it was- that he brought out Ovi's case and she talked about it- and then he was smart enough to text Purvi...i don't think he could have done anything better with being warmer towards Purvi.

As regards being that way wth Ovi, i think that is Arjun Kirloskar's style. He just does that and he has also morphed into this different being, thnx to Purvi's love...so thats just the way he is and also he has known Ovi, so while in Arjun's mind he is probably clear, he does not understand the gravity of leading Ovi on and how hurt she will be...eventually when she finds out and the longer he delays the worse for her...as she too will eventually blame him as to why he took so long to tell her and how could he do this to her...etc. etc...

Hoping for some lovely ARVI magic this week...now that Purvi understands why he could not tell Ovi at that party...

Good post abhi...I agree as well...i think Arjun acted as.best as he could without giving anything away.I don't think we can compare this situation with Manav/Archana for this reason. Everyone obviously knew about Manav/Archana and what they meant to each other...Archana was sacrificing for the sake of Sachin- to give him legitimacy. The situation was enirely different...However, nobody has any idea about Purvi (except Punni of course). Arjun cannot behave like Manav did...there is no way he can go beyond the eye locks and looks without making it obvious. They cannot openly pine for each other like Manav//Archana.

As to Ovi,,,same thing...he can't refuse to meet her under the present circumstances. And there is no way to compare his feelings for Ovi/Purvi...the "it's ok it's ok" is just the way he talks...his style...has nothing to do with either of the actually, Just my perspective and take 😊 Not trying to upset anyone,,,We r all friends here and in some cases we just have to "agree to disagree!"
