Dear Shyamala,
Thank you for the clarification. 😊
All Arvi fans are actually in the same boat, and most of us wish to see Arjun-Purvi reunite. Yes, I was happy when Purvi understood Arjun's concern, after hearing Ovi's problem from her own mouth.
Another major positive from yesterday's episode:
1. No PDA between AK-Ovi. Thank god for such mercies. 😆😆
Hope they continue it.
Just a thought -- in upcoming scenes, would like to see how Arjun (who is less uninhibited of the two (Arjun-Purvi), and the more demonstrative) loses his guard and leans more towards Purvi -- or gives her more attention, even in Ovi's presence, at such get-togethers. Even though he means to look professional with Purvi when Ovi-Tej are around, yet can't help but be overly-protective to and attentive around Purvi. It needs to happen naturally, and the director and the writer need to show such aspects of how two people in deep love behave around each other. They're trying to hide, but can't.😆 I want to see those lapses.😆😆

Also don't understand why Ovi is being sued for breach of contract, she informed whoever it was that she was taking time off for her engagement, which is what she has done so far. Why would they be suing her for not informing them of her marriage? She is not married yet for one thing and secondly doesn't an engagement automatically entail a wedding?

Well, it will never be the right time for Arjun to tell her. They do make a cute couple and should stick with their wedding date. 😈

Janhvi...Shyamla posted on this...do read...it's a separate topic and then would love to hear...have not yet been able to see the episode or lunch scene from yest, only read abt it...will post after viewing...hmmm

Dear Shyamala, I would never want Arjun and Purvi to go their separate ways, I am a die hard romantic and just hold Arjun to very high expectations! Attention wise, thought wise, action wise, it has to be all Purvi or at least majority Purvi which is not how the directors are playing out the scenes. As Trish has so wisely pointed out, Arjun needs to be more transparent in his thought processes to us, his viewers, he needs to look composed but his misery at being away from Purvi should seep through every facial muscle. As Trish said, Manav managed to convey this in every scene with Shravani, total disinterest was written clearly on his face at every turn of that camera. That is what we would like to see, concern for Ovi as a friend is fine but no exchanging smiles, he should be in no mood to smile or if he smiles, it should look forced. The only appropriate expression yesterday as I noted and Trish agreed was when Purvi left the table. Asking for better direction and editing is not asking that the couple be torn assunder, my dear friend..

I agree with Jahnvi,😊 she like me is a die-hard romantic (and Arjun-Purvi fan) and expects Arjun to be in his romeo-avatar (as I expect) , especially now that Ovi is around. We want to see fireworks ( in terms of expressions, body language) between Arjun-Purvi, especially now more so, because they have been torn apart, and they want to be together underneath all the stoic expressions they keep giving each other when in a crowd of people or around others. 😆😆

Abhimg, thanks for pointing me to that post😊, I responded on both.
Ah, this weekend without ARVI is quite boring. 😉

Am almost afraid to ask, but is Arjun falling out of love? His attitude towards Purvi at that lunch was so uncaring. Even his text, as some of you pointed out, was almost accusing. What a tragic end to such a beautiful love story. Will miss Arvi so much if they break up.

why are the writers making Arjun look so wrong now .
If getting engaged was not bad enough, he is going out for dinner dates and giving such wrong signals to Ovi and teju ...
What he is doing to Teju and Ovi is very very wrong ...and of course what he is doing to Purvi is also very wrong ...

Namita, I don't think he is falling out of love at all, when Purvi said she is leaving, he looked totally taken aback and a little miserable.
I blame the directors and script writers for not being sensitive enough, the little nuances that made Manav look like a lost puppy in the Shravani scenes is lacking here, that is all.
Rithvik would emote well (as he has already proven that) the directors need to make sure they portray his character properly. They vaccilate between making him intense and then nonchalant - not a good combo for one in his situation - desperately in love with one girl while forcibly tied to another - he needs to look like he did at the office when Purvi made that presentation and her colleagues followed at her heel - Arjun that day looked miserable, frustrated and totally lost - that is the look the directors need to aim for - not this stupid "its okay, its okay" to Ovi in the same tone that he uses for Purvi. He should have at least said it absent-mindedly or not like it mattered an iota to him whether Ovi is there or not. And he shouldn't be making lunch dates with Ovi. If the CVs need to show them all together, they could have contrived something else, not a pre-planned lunch with Ovi.
Anyway, we ARVIans are cognizant of every detail and the CVs do need to cater to us if they do not want us to lose interest in this charismatic pair.

You are right Jhanvi . Manav used to look so depressed and was never seen going out with Shravani on his own ... he only did it when savita would force him to ...
and his eyes always used to look for Archana ...
That was a very strong part of the story , how Manav himself kept away from the girl he was marrying and stayed faithful to his love ...
Sadly that is missing in Arjun.

Think about it from Teju 's point of view . Put yourself in her place .
Teju is so emotional about her sister , they have had a strange childhood where they always felt unloved when it came to their mother ...helped each other get over this loss . Now Teju's sister is getting married , everyone in the family is emotional ...
It is a very special time for this family and everyone is trying to put away all their problems and enjoy Ovi's wedding ...
And Arjun knows this ..
he knows what this family has gone through and how they are all coming together to celebrate this occasion ...and he is just going ahead with this pretending and playing the perfect fiance ...only to dump Ovi and shatter this whole family ...
and that too for Archana's other daughter ...😲
How strange that DK is sleeping over this entire issue when Manav is ordering wedding cards ...
