It's the height of hypocrisy. Even though Savita was wrong because Archana was shown discussing getting a flat for Vandu, withManav, at the dining table. The CV's never followed this up.

However, all that you have said is correct Tanya. If the chawl wasn't so important, why keep it. Why have Vandu living there in that manner, while you and your family live in such a huge mansion in Canada, the inside decorated so opulently, with butlers etc,. dressing up in fine saris and suits?

Many have blasted Archana for milking Manav for the sake of her mayka. Well, she hasn't "milked" him at all for the past 18 years, so why is Vandu still living in the chawl. Many also mentioned the money spent to buy back Sulochana's house. Well obviously that hasn't affected either Manav or DK financially or in terms of lifestyle.

If Manav paid back the money, he hasn't suffered at all. He was able to buy this huge mansion, and educate all his children well. DK has been able to educate his son and has done well businesswise, so much so that he can now buy a company in India.

So, Archana cannot be held responsible for the way Vandu is living! Isuppose it will be said that Vandu wanted to live there.
