I believe the numbers start dipping when the story has nothing new to offer the audiences and I had felt a similar thing for Pavitra Rishta, some time back. We (Balaji Telefilms) believed that Manav-Archana's relationship had reached a saturation point. So we had been planning the leap for quite some time, but it took a backseat as I was busy with other things. But the falling TRP is not the reason for the leap, but yes it did push me to take this decision as soon as possible. And we at Balaji take the blame for it completely and hope that we would rectify it very soon. If you ask me that does Ankita look 45 I will say no. But in real life, I have seen many people who don't look their age. Take the example of Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan; they are 45 but look much younger than that. So, the question whether Hiten and Ankita will suit the leap or not doesn't arise. All I can say is that if an actor doesn't feel comfortable playing an older character I will work hard to make him feel comfortable about it. ARCHANAA IS 45😆😆 Apparently, the leap got delayed for two reasons. One, the confusion over whether and when Sushant Singh who played Manav earlier would quit. Two, it was too much of a risk to introduce a new generation when KBC was doing so well and had a major impact on Pavitra Rishta's ratings. Zee's fiction head Sukesh Motwani downplays the KBC effect.ACTUALLY FOR SUSH LEAP COULDNT B TAKEN😆😆

I didn't get any emotions/feelings /Nothing...i'm not sad..really...because Ekta don't touch me..

It was aweful ...I honestly thought that it was one of the worst ever PR episodes .The script writing was just competely senseless...How could someone write this kind of script ...

Just trying to force a leap and somehow try and make a seperation happen ...they made both manav and Archana the worst ever couple I have ever seen .There was simply no understanding , no communication and no real effort from either side to try and come back together ...

Is this Pavitra Rishta ?

The last two years , Ekta and her writers showed manav and Archana as people who understood each other so well , so what is happening to them now .Just to drag the story forward and make some more money , she totally butchered such lovely characters ...

It was just about wrong people winning and good people loosing in the end ..Savita always had the biggest complain that Archana took her son away from her...In the end this woman has managed to take first Shravani son away from her and now Archana's daughters away from her ...

She got her way ...Unbelievable that manav believed his mother that Archu wanst to give her daughters in return for money ...

And what was Archana doing sitting on that comfortable chair , waiting for so long ...ridiculous ...she just did not seem that bothered for a long long time and then suddenly she starts all runnign around and what not ...

Of course Savita plan succeed...don't know how she will be...don't think she will change..If she could see her son all these years ..thinking he is happy...in his life..cause have money..children...good situation...and keeping his mother happy by giving her money...but in otherhand she knows deep from his heart Manv till in love with Archna...if she could see all that these 20years past.I will say this buddi burri aurat doesn't change...😆

Nope , his crying did not mean much to her ... She gave dhoka to her own son ...for 18 long years .

And Sulochna also is someone I just do not like ..She is a very selfish mother I think ..Only uses Archana all the time for her own family and her other children ...

One more thing I didn't know ...its easy to get passport or even adopting so easily in India..😆

And why would manav believe that Archana took a lot of money . will he never check his bank statements ..if there is no big withdrawl then no money was taken ...Looks like Manav will never look at his bank statements for the next 18 years ...🤔
