I agree with you both. It will be vry off putting for most people. Recently I saw a part of YMGGK (don't watch it anymore), and realised they changed Karan's mother (for the third time), and the actress playing the role now used to be Laali's SIL in AJMBHK). In that show she was the mother of 10 year old twin girls, which is age appropriate for her.

When I saw her in YMGGK and heard Abbha calling her "aai", I fet repulsed. I felt sick. She is obviously way too young to have grown children, yet Abbha is calling her aai.

I can imagine how many will feel seeing these old enough adults, calling Archana "aai".
