Sushant quits rishta
Sushant Singh Rajput quits Pavitra Rishta. Grapevine was buzzing with the news that Sushant (Manav) was planning to quit Pavitra Rishta. Although the actor himself didn't go on record, there were reports said that he wanted to do 'other things', which included learning direction in the US. Now, the exit is final and Sushant is out.

Sources indicate that actor Mrunal Jain (who played Krishna in Ekta's Mahabharata) has been approached to step into his predecessor's shoes and he is expected to make an entry with a romantic sequence. Initially, the replacement was to be done after a leap of 18 years, but later the idea was dropped. There's a word that Mrunal is in two minds about signing on the dotted line since he has some other projects in hand.

lol ... i think this is the only forum where we come together every evening to thrash the show and keep praying for the show to end or the leads to quit 😆 ...

i dont think any other forum would be in a celebratory mode if one of the lead is quitting the show ...
Oh , I am relieved ... for a while I thought sushant might stay on till PR's last episode .. which might be .. uh ... after three more leaps ... after 1000 episodes .. after manav celebrates his 80th birthday ... and after the TRPs touch 0.01

Wow ... so Sushant finally did end up quitting the show during diwali .. he has been hinting this since such a long time ... he probably notified the production house long ago..

Just last month, Sushant said in an interview that he is not quitting despite all the rumors. So I will believe it only when he himself says so or when it actually happens.

Its the same thing Tellychakkar wrote, I am going to wait until Sushant confirms he is leaving until then it is just another rumor.
