Niki, its one of those situation when you lose ability to take right decision and just believe other person rationality (Satish). Did you see how Satish convinced her telling her she cannot marry Jaywant and kept telling her to run away. She just trusted Satish's decision, after Satish told her what he heard Jaywant saying. There was very little time for her to think, she just acted upon what Satish told her to do. If she ran away there would be badnaami, if she stayed back and marriage was called off there would be badnaami, if she stayed back and got married to Jaywant and got dumped by him after 1 yr there would be even more badnaami. There was no escape from badnaami.

You are right, Satish adviced her to run😲, maybe he wanted to run to from Varshu too🤣🤣maybe these CVs will show everyone running soon😆😆just the thought is cracking me up.

With so much badnami going on about Archu and Manav relationship (so called on-going), do u seriously think there would be no badnami for Archu....will society be so linient on a girl who faced so many badnamis....I wish I could agree with you....really could be nice to believe the society is so progressive..

Have said this before (sigh! 😊): the CVs will draw things out as long as they can. The point is length rather than coherence of plot or consistency in characterisation. A's value system and obedient devotion to her mother - previously touted as exemplary, in fact, the reason for her leaving and staying away from M in the first place - can be flung to the winds at the altar of a monthful of mindless pre-elopement misery episodes when instead - as may very likely have happened in the case of a real life arranged marriage even without these extraordinary circumstances - all this could have been sorted out in a less chaotic and publicly humiliating way. Was it necessary or even normal, for example, for a man like M to voice his objections to a wedding before a crowd of interested relatives on both sides at a Diwali party? No. But that's what gains the Cvs time and revenues, so that's what we get. The option of quietly phoning sensible Manohar or practical Satish one morning some time back and meeting them over chai and biscuits later that day to tell them the nasty truth about Jaywant, perhaps even taking them to Ajit's ruffian friend ro convince them, is replaced by needless nonsensical hi-jinks.

True, otherwise we wouldn't be here to argue either😆 and what girl announces that her sis in't around in the wedding venue in front of the future SIL....found that very entertaining specially coming from Varsha😆😆

All I'm saying that Archana didn't think rationally, she just acted upon Saitsh conviction. Satish is such a balanced guy, if he is asking Archana to take such extreme step then there must be a reason behind it.
.
Yet she never wondered why 'balanced Satish' insisted and insisted she shud NOT give up her financial independence and chose to sit at home to please a fiancee who had tricked her into signing on papers , and eat muft ki rotis and bear the earning member's taunts [ Manju who represents Vinod too] thinking oh Im gonna get married in a month anyways this is my last month of bearing lovely Manju Vahini's immortal taunts . Sigh . Ur right about the irrational part .

But then this consideration should be made for all the characters na Tanya Di? I don't see anyone doing it here.😭

I understand very well about CV's intention of plot stretching and high drama to increase TRP's. But this leeway was never given to other characters. People were sarcastic about shravani giving up sacrifice late, or Manav realising things late, or the fact that he barged into Karanjkars house like a fool. At that time no one said, oh its just that CV's want to stretch things and increase drama. No one said it isn't Shravani's fault for falling in love with Manav so soon, cos CV's don't have time to show mourning period- they have to rush the story so audiences are not bored. (Am not criticising anyone here, just pointing out that all characters, if evaluation is to be done at all, should be evaluated with THE SAME LENS. 😃 Otherwise it is better not to evaluate, sit back and enjoy the show, saying CV's want to stretch the plot and increase drama.)😃

I hope I have not offended anybody. I was only trying to make it clear as to why I'm debating on this issue.

3.) By running away, she spoilt her own untarnished image. If she had told truth about Jay to her family, then they would have cancelled the marriage saying the boy is a fraud. Jay ki badnaami hoti, Archu ki nahi. But now, since she ran away, everyone is gossiping about her that see she has run away with her lover, and Jay has become the hero deserving sympathy in everyone's eyes.

4.) Even after running away, she is not concerned about her parents. It was Manav who was more concerned today.

5.) Even if they would not have believed her, then atleast she could have said fine, don't believe, but I won't marry. Gunpoint pe shaadi thodi na karate uski.😆

Wake up CV's!!! Yeh kya kar rahe ho????

Hi Nikki, I have a different take here, First and the fore most thing that Karanjkar family dosen't want too believe what Manav is telling them, they feel he his there too out there to take vengance on Rane. So its literally falling on deaf ears of karanjkar family, they are true hypocrites who at times of crisis took good help from Manav, and raat gayi toh baat gayi. Ready to believe a man who is just few months old but not yet ready and accept that Manav who always stood for the right cause. So the marriage would have gone through even she would have protested about the intentions of Rane, by just doing one more emotional attayachar on her. They very well know that she is in madly in lub with Manav, and she cant think of any one else. This was proven when the rishta with Satish never went through. I would say that she was pushed into a situation where all the door's were shut, what if tomo the same Rane has some great plans of tagging Archu a bad charactered woman then what would have happen.
Toh she took a right call, may be the timing was wrong according too me!

Then she shud have picked that badnami situation in which the risk of one of her parents getting an attack and dYING was minimal . As it happens she chose that badnaami situation in which it was MAXIMUM .

@akash: I have written everything I wanted to on this issue in my talks with Arien, and I think covered up points raised by you as well. I really won't be able to type again... sorry! 😃

EDIT add:

I'll summarize it in one line however: Decision to break marriage- fantastic. But the way she chose to do it- very rash.
