"Sure , u miserable messenger of GLOOM"
Kool, what an apt description of Manav! I don't let even shadows of such messengers into my life.
You are a messenger of joy! God bless you.

Kool, I read the commentry again . I liked it a lot .However , this time I only would like to say that I do not agree at all that Jaywant and Shravani are in a same situation ..
That is not how I see these two situations ..Obviously as I like Archana , I am seeing things from her point of view here as well...
Except for that part , the rest of the commentry I agree with , it is absolutely rocking as always ...

I guess that is natural. Sass-Bahu stuff does not interest me. And yes, why are females portrayed as either totally dumb or totally wicked on most soaps? Why can't we have an intelligent female lead who is sensitive and yet thinks clearly and is able to formulatemutually acceptable solutions? I have not heard one intelliegent syllable from archana whose idea of work is merely tohold a folder.

Vidya Di I could totally empathise with the workers feelings and their being angry with the management- right or wrong does not matter. Anyone in the situation would have been angry and accused, abused- whatever. Very human.

What you told about Dharmesh is both informative and interesting. Sadly, this point of view and this whole thing has not been shown in the serial- PR people tend to make a mess of such social issues when they could have easily shown Satish saying all these things like you are saying. They made it a man vs. machine fight- and now going to the human rights commission and saying they have replaced us by machines seems futile. What will human rights do in this respect? Ultimately dharmesh is getting the sympathy, since people are now seeing him as a businessman who is being manipulated by his workers, that if you don't take us back and go ahead with that machine, we will go on strike. Involving the labour court, and pointing out all that you pointed out would have been much better.

As I see it, Dharmesh's way of handling the situation was wrong. He could have handled it more sensitively, especially if he has been shown as a person who organises functions and all and invites his workers to them. Someone told that it is not possible to address so many workers- but he could have talked to the union leader, right- that management does not require your services as of now but we shall pay you compensation and give notice time etc. That would have comparatively soothed the workers, even though they would have been immensely disappointed by what had happened.

I think Dharmesh is practical, but lacks tact. Thats where Satish steps in. He could have handled the situation much better, still can, in fact, by convincing Manav not to go on strike. Dharmesh simply sent Archana with the list to be announced to the workers, who too, did not do a great job in handling the workers. They flared up as soon as they heard that they were being fired.

Ok , cant really comment much on the union/uprisal thingy bcuz I seriously dont know much about it ( lol.. cool posts vidyasu ..)
But didnt anyone find it weird that Manav's name was in the list , BUT Satish and Archana didnt have a clue about it .. AND to top it Dharmu sent Archana to make that announcement .. to make her read Manav's name .. without even intimating her that Manav is also being kicked out ?...
Look , lets face it , Manav is a "special case " .. Dharmu knows manav's relationship with archana and even satish is not exactly .. just professional ..
Heck .. even Ajit is a "special case" .. He is related to the K's .... he is family ...
What kind of thought did dharmesh put in while making the list ??? Just random names ? Newer or inexperienced workers ?
I feel Dharmu found this a convenient way to get rid of Manav .....

Removing the other workers from the company was purely from the business pov but adding manav's name in that was motivated a little bit from personal bias

Varsha is another "practical" character in this show who lacks tact ..
This girl starts confrontations , not conversations .. so why the hell would Bhavna even be inclined to try and listen to her ????

Thank you Kool Di for adding Varsha-Bhavna scene...
I totally agree with lunza above. Varsha always has to pounce and jump wth her words. Always in Fight mode...Even if her point of view is correct, her way of presenting them is Pathetically annoying!!
I remember Once Satish saying that The company cannot afford to lose a 'Good Mechanic' like MANAV. Even Dharmesh has been heard praising MANAV for his work. I really don't see any VALID Reason for Dharmu to kick MANAV and retain meanie PRAKASH.
Ajit I can understand, the company may say he is less experienced and relatively new worker.

she shud jus shut up and put up with wat he is offering on paper,
Why ?😡 Why shud a woman PUT UP WITH ANY NONSENSE DISHED OUT TO HER and be GRATEFUL ? Is it a crime to exercise ur own mind and judge scenarios as they change and opine and put ur foot down ? If Archna CHOSE to put up with all the nonsense that Manav dished out to her and NEVER question him and BE GRATEFUL simply for being in her life , ITS HER PROBLEM , not A QUALITY . Shravani was willing to move aside , this DUO repeatedly bEGGED her to continue staying there saying ALL IS OVER BETWEEN THEM < THAT THE DIVORCE WAS JUST A FORMALITY NOW . And suddenly she started seeing that she was being royally cONNED , Archna was saying one thing on her face and running to take emotional control all along . So Shravni started FIGHTING . She has even blasted Manav for that , but being in love with him , she went easy on him , bas . I see NO reason she shud be GRATEFUL and accept any nonsense these two give her ..............NOBODY TOLD THEM TO DIVORCE < ITS THEIR DECISION . And if they did , ur argument applies to them more .........THEY BETTER HONOR IT . Why the hell shud Shravni BETTER BE GRATEFUL .Grateful my foot .😡😡😡😡 And this gussa Saffix is not at u , its for the CVS for giving precisely this IDEA in this serial .
Nobody is expecting her to do daily pooja of Archu,If she chooses to do daily pooja of two timing Manav, its her problem and she shud keep her jealousy business with Manav, thatz all So isnt your Archu doing DAILY POOJA of TWO TIMING MANAV ? 😆😆😆😆 Arre she calls him Bhagwan ! THAT MUCH pooja she does ! Again i ask u , who has given your Archu the monopoly of worshipping two timing men ? If she can do it , other women can do it too ! Is it so black and white in life that one keeps jealousy restricted to her spouse only and NEVER confronts the other woman ? In real life too , i have seen hundreds of bitchy squabbles between women over men ..right from college level to office love ! And if Archna KEEPS POPPING UP RELENTLESSLY IN HER LIFE , how long shud she IGNORE her , Welcome her politely and only talk to Manav ? In real life , by now , Manavs fiancee wud have shaken Archna's hair publicly , sorry if i offend anyone here . Which dreams r we weaving watching this stupid soap ?
If Jay plays underhanded and harms Manav instead of breaking the sagaai, then he deserves as bad a marraige with archu that manav will have with shravni.
Jay and Shravni r entering this marriage with full knowledge of ArMan's feelings-Shravni knows it far, far, more than even Jay does, and she knows she is the reason for the whole fiasco. If both Jay and Shravni choose to cling to ArMan still, then ITS THEIR PROBLEM,LET THEM WALK OUT,BALL IS IN THEIR COURT,not in ArMan's anymore.ArMan have made clear their majboori here.
WOW . So this absolves ARMAN from the absolute cRAP that they have done and r still doing , that Jay and Shravni knew of their stupid rishta so its THEIR PROBLEM . Then I ask u saffix why this doesnt apply to ARMAN too .If u can be this practical while judging the other two fiancees , why so emotional about Archu or Arman ? Archna too knew what she was getting into when she divorced Manav , so why weep for her so called state and say BECHARI ARCHU . And why sympathise for the ARMAN so called BS romance ...........they knew exactly what they were doing when they called Shravni back from the train . So BHUGTO . and u know wat , I hope they sUFFER more than Jay Shravni , NO SYMPATHIES WITH THEM .

Kool, seeing the trend of the discussion on the labour problem, I understand one thing. Most of you are settled in the US and are unable to appreciate/empathise with the difficult conditions in India. India is very different from the US. It is a desperately poor country where there are no social security systems in place. This is so even for organised labour which is less than 10 per cent of the total workforce. The other 90 per cent work as casual labour who have no rights whatever. India is transiting from a socialist system which permitted strong unions to a form of robber-baron capitalist system where the poor are very badly shortchanged. The State has still to put in place regulators. For a lot of people like Manav, there is neither the protection offered by unions nor any kind of state protection. .
Well I am NOT out of touch . I am in the US only since last ten years . I have lived my entire life in Mumbai , and I still go there yearly . I have witnessed the Datta Samant mill strike and have hobnobbed with the children of mill workers who went from door to door selling agarbattis and soaps to make a living while their unemployed Dads drank or joined Arun Gawlis gang or Chota Rajans Gang . Those kids had no money to go to school even .
Informative though ur post is , and much as I admire it , I still see no reason why management should single out workers who have chosen not to claim compensation and go behind them asking to claim it or why management should shud take the responsibility of FINDING JOBS FOR THE RETRENCHED WORKERS .
If it comes up at aNY TIME that Dharmesh gives LESS COMPENSATION And The NOTICE PERIOD IS INADEQUATE , I will be the first one to fire him in my commentary .But When he fired Manav last time , Manav was given full compensation , even his holidays were not recognised , they were fully paid holidays .
Regarding the policies and contracts , I repeat , This serial is nOt about that . Its the Man VS MACHINE story and one who brings in the machines is the villain .
Also , if u note , Rasika has not gone to labour court but made it a human rights issue . Thats not fair either . They r saying JUST DONT RETRENCH , THATS IT . This is BUll .
Barging in the cabin with the workers the way she did is GUNDAGIRI . The workers r not following any fair procedure either although she claims to be educated .Where is her protocol then ?
I will admit this much ...........Dharmesh lacks tact and is BLUNT and sometimes comes across as high handed .But he really isnt as BAD as these guys r making him out to be .As far as singling out Ajit goes and pressing him to claim compensation , Archu shud have done it , she knows him personally too . If she didnt and Ajit chose not to claim , what can company do about it .
