The scene rocked . I still dont see the logic in Rasikas defense except that the point of FAIR UNFAIR RETRENCHMENT POLICY is not there anymore , the demand is clearly DONT FIRE THE WORKERS AT ALL . Added to this is the threat that if u dont do this , we will make this a HUMAN RIGHTS ISSUE and sHUT DOWN THIS PLACE . Now may i ask who is being unfair and TWISTING THE TRUTH AND RULES ?
What shud Dharmu do ?
He shud NOT buy progressive machines at all , ever , and keep feeding workers although better options of lowering production costs r avaialble ?
He shud personally find jobs for the retrenched workers ? Which company does that ?
He shud keep the workers inspite of the machine not requiring them ? And go OUT OF BUSINESS ?
What shud he do ? Let us assume he is giving FAIR NOTICE PERIOD AND FAIR COMPENSATION BOTH . There is no evidence to prove otherwise till this point . What shud he do BEYOND THIS ..........i ask this question to ALL who found him UNFAIR .
The slipshod story is NOT ABOUT HIRING POLICIES OR RETRENCHING POLICIES AT ALL . IT is LIFTED From an OLD HINDI MOVIE NAYA DAUR . Where Machines replace man . Even in that movie the question remained unanswered ........is there a way that men and machines can work together or shud we turn our back on progress ? I repeat ............if Dharmesh is GIVING ADEQUATE COMPENSATION AND NOTICE PERIOD , WHERE DOES HUMAN RIGHTS COME IN ? Shud he never make changes in running his company for fear of human rights breathing down his neck ?
