Sadly, it is normal in today's world. There r soooo many ppl who hav pre-marital sex, even if we r not aware of it. Some dont get caught nd some girls dont get pregnant but some do nd thats what happened with Shravani (nd it was not just her fault! Sachin is equally responsible) Yes Shravani made a very big mistake, sooooooooooo many ppl do that nowadays. So many ppl also hav live-in relationships. Lastly, if u r pregnant (even if u r not married), I dont think u hav the right to kill the baby! So u hav to bring him/her in this world. Its not the baby's fault that he will b called 'illegitimate' All these things r very normal these days. Moreover, when I said Shravani is normal, I also meant that her behaviour towards Archana is normal. She feels insecure and Archana makes her very insecure. We all feel insecure at least once in our lifetime. Its impossible for someone to not feel insecure or jealous! Jealousy nd insecurity is not just present between husband-wife, but also in every relation. Its very normal.

Let me tell u that I m never in favour of pre-marital sex or live-in relationships so plz dont think that I m defending them. I just stated my opinion on Shravani's case.

Actually , in todays world its pretty common . People dont tell , thats all . Premarital sex is there , Live in relationships r florishing in metros in India ..........baby before marraige followed two decades ago [ Neena Gupta Viv Richards] . It may not be very common but its not so shocking either .
Besides with all due credit , the situation has been shown as uncommon in PR , not as common . Sachin dies tragically , they fully intended to marry and they had sneaky sex before marraige .Sounds normal to me although I didnt approve exactly . What was ABNORMAL that till now this 32 year old Manav and 26 year old Archu didnt even kiss like a Satya yuga couple .

What a relief!!!!!!! By the way, we need to stop defending or making excuses for wrong behaviour, no matter whose. Wrong is wrong even if done by mistake.

All I know that it is a sin (in my religion) to hav pre-marital sex nd live-in relationships, but they do happen, even amongst the ppl who hav same religion as mine (I dont know abt other religions so cannot comment on others) So if u do get pregnant then it will another sin to kill a life! The society will call the child 'illegitimate' but its not the baby's fault.

I m not defending wrong behaviour but who m I to punish ppl who do these things? They r doing this sin nd they will hav to answer God, not me bcoz I m not doing that. I do talk nd give lectures to ppl if they r doing something (not just pre-marital sex or live-in relations) wrong. I m not the kind who will sit quiet nd lets other destroy their life or other's lives. But I talk to an extent nd leave the rest to God.

Forget about celebs and famous cricketers, such things rarely occur in middle class families without repercussions, reason why I am puzzled that people seem hell bent on defending that track with a slap on the hand by calling it normal or a mistake.

Yes, pre-marital sex is a sin in any religion. Mine too. Killing anyone is a sin in any religion. A child born out of wed-lock will always have that name attached to him or her, that is a fact and it is no fault of that kid.
It is always good to help others, most important thing in life even when they do not want your help, you will be satisfied you did your part.

I repeat .......It has been shown as an uncommon occurence in PR . Many middle class gals do marry elder BIL , if he is single ..it happens many times . And My point is ........if it has happened , The gal shud NOT be flogged or stoned for the so called 'SIN" . I can show u many married people in this serial who r not worth even having a marraige .............Shravni is hundred times better than Rasika or Manju who r legally wedded women . So a woman had premarital sex and got pregnant , it was too late to rectify her mistake ....shud she die or shud the baby die to make way for romance ? And what romance ? A !5 day marraige which didnt have any trust ?And suddenly in 3 months she fell so crazily in love , so crazily in love that now she feels she is wedded for 7 janams is it ?Well the practical; hubby moved on long back .Its time this repressed female who clearly had no exposure to men coz of her sheltered life gets a dose from some elder about MOVING ON .Sorry if I offended anyone .
