Akash, today i felt they dint play as expected..i mean not used their full potential.....defence was not good....Germany was attacking from the beginning

Well the German defence was too good, they marked down Messi three like shadow chasing him, every time he gets to the ball he his brought down!!!!😈

ok munna this was my edit add.

Argentina's biggest problem and I firmly believe the reason they lost was because they put all the eggs in the "Messi" basket. Messi is good but he is just one man. this is not a one man sport (unless it has a legend like Pele or Maradonna). Messi did not get the team support he needed to shine. Strikers shoot the balls that forwards and mid-fielders bring forward. you cannot expect any striker even one as good as Messi to play multiple roles of striker-cum-forwar-cum-midfielder in order to score one goal. this is not a multitasking activity. every player has a special task and expertise. multi-tasking kills spirit and tactical strength. that is what happened to Argentina in my opnion.

I didn't watch the match but looks like the defense did not hold up, it seems like they were only focusing on making goals. 😳

yep Hope...that is wat happened today...only he was there wid the ball...no one ws available for him to pass it..and the Germans were aftr him all the time😡
