She let him go to Varshas engagement although she cud have declined . It was clearly an emotional struggle for her .........she gave permission inspite of HATING THE FACT .It is easuy to give permission when one has no problems.......it is howevver difficult to give permission when one has problems .She gave the permission only for Manav .
She treated his mom and his sister with affection . Maybe she did not give a big bhashan to Rasika like Archu did ............But then Savitas own children......Manav and Vandu too did NOT give it . With what status was she gonna open her mouth there ? She did not mind her insurance money being used for Manavs sister and Never ever minded Savita using her jewels and to this point has NOT fought with Savita saying you r doing an about turn ...It was U who told me that Archu is ensnaring Manav ! Any gal wud tell Savita at least THAT MUCH . BOLNA HI CHAHIYE COZ IT IS HUNDRED PERCENT TRUTH . SOU CHUHE KHAKAR BILLI HAJ KO CHALI ! It Was Savita who pulled Shravni at midnite to show her Archu Manav talking together and inflamed jealousy in that young Gals mind . Yet Shravni is respectful to her .
For whom does she do all this ? For Manav , ultimately . She is a rich gal , yet she lived there unsnobbishly and adjusted quietly . Somehow no one notices her good points at all . If this is Not respect for Manav , what is ? Respect need not be in words always it is in deeds too ..........
About her questioning Manav .....if u find that disrespectful , I dont .As i said .i dont see Manav the great as a God , above reproach or questions ,. like Archu makes him out to be .Of course men have to be questioned .........whether they r brothers , fathers , fiancees or husbands .They r NOT gods and above questions . The Shakkar philosophy is BS .
