Maharashtra times featured article on Priya (Varsha) and Ankita(Archana) which I have translated here....
Priya Marathe is a talented actress. From last three to four years Priya is working in television industry. After working in many Marathi serials she got break in hindi serials from 'Kasam Se'. While working, she came across many difficulties like dialogue delivery, communication with co-stars.
But by regularly reading hindi newspapers, books, magazines, she improved her hindi. She started talking in hindi with everyone, and she succeeded in her task. And the result she got is by bagging important role in 'Pavitra Rishta'.
Since she has worked in both Marathi and hindi medium, she has understood the difference between both industries. In Marathi industry everyone supports each other and covers up everything, but in hindi serials we have to be alert always. As the budget of hindi serials is more we get to learn more technical aspects.
After completing her B.Sc. In Botany, now she is doing her Distance Program MBA from Wellingker Mgt Inst. We have to give importance to education along with fame and money, she says.
Ankita Lokhande, who plays lead role in 'Pavitra Rishta' hails from Indore (MP). She has spend her childhood and studied there, therefore she did'nt had any problem in adjusting to hindi serials.
But as she was not from acting background, she made a point to understand all the aspects of this industry from beginning.
She manages hectic schedule, workculture, good relationship with co-stars, interaction with media very well.
