it is a fresh water fish, not very good looking with very hard scales but is very popular, the spanish people call it hassa, the british or english calls it cascadura

I agree when you say he has given a lot of pain to Archu. Absolutely right.

But I disagree when you say he treats Archu like that cos she takes it.

In fact the fact that she takes it hurts him much much more, infinitely more. It is a very sensitive thing- when we do wrong to others, and we know this, then we expect them to get flared up at us, shout at us, scream at us. We consider it as our punishment. But when they don't do it and instead tolerate it silently or show sad acceptance, it hurts much more.

Think of your Mom, Tanya Di and this fact. It happens with me all the time- when I do something wrong, I expect my mother to shout at me. I call her up nervously, but then when she says ok and hides her disappointment I cry on the phone for having upsetted her. Its human nature. I'm sure it has happened to everyone here.

We could see this same thing in the serial: Archu's silence at the sindoor scene did not give Manav the encouragement to go ahead with the engagement (it gave Savita and Girish encouragement to go ahead with engagement) , rather it gave Manav a lot more fears. Having witnessed Archu's condition at the sindoor scene, he knew that Archu would be very very hurt and yet not say anything. So what did he do???

1.) He said that you go to your parents house for the day, since he knew it would hurt her very badly.

2.) He was sitting like a dead body at the engagemnt, while Archana was crying inside.

3.) After the engagement, he came to Archu and confessed that it pained him a lot to see her hurt that way and asked her to move on and forget him.

edit add:

After the engagement he shouted at his Aai two times for abusing Archana, so badly that his Aai had no option but to keep quiet.

He then accepted the Ganpati idol that she had given with tears in his eyes.

This is only one example, there are countless others.

Ya, I know it as hassa....love it but u have to have patience to eat it..ha ha ha....scales and bones...my dad and bros dont like it...of course mom, and my sister....i had pelau yesterday..it is our sunday meal...

i think manav secretly hopes archana get upset and shows it whenever he does something e.g the sindoor scene and the engagement...it would've given him the signal that yes she still cares for me and cant stand to see me do this or that and maybe he would not have gone ahead with the engagement, but as it is archana shows her approval for everything where manav and shrav is concerned and maybe he see this as a sign that she truly wants to divorce at the end of three months...yes she did express her love a couple of times but at this point in time, but after that it is always the same old dialogue..i am leaving at the end of three months etc etc and always pacifying shrav about manav is going to be your husband soon...and i am sure if stupid archu had decided to go to her parents house for the 5 days (which manav was hoping for..see how happy he was) sparks would have surely been flying...

Nickita , he was happy about the ganpati idol beause Shravani was getting the respect and the status that he wants for her . He was happy that Archana was giving shravani the respect and accepting it so well that now she is manav's life partner .... What does he wants for Archana ...nothing . He just wants her to help him and his family and most important his precious fiance ...... Other than that Archana means nothing whatsoever .. Oh forget it Nickita ..am just in a bad mood ...sorry darling , I hope you don;t feel bad . Here come give me a hug ...🤗 Just don't talk to me about this guy ...... I do love him so much in your fictions though . You are doing such an incredible job there ....
