There is no plausibility,no middle class mentality about this track...its been going on for 4 months...its high time they end this meaningless dilemmas ,promises and commitments...I would like to see human characters...devi devtaa r meant to be worshipped ...they aren

't supposed to provide entertainment...spare them,spare us

I think I too will only see the show for the acting and the work of the lead couple, The story and the chaarcters have pretty much gone down the drains . But the actors ar doing a superb job , espacially the lead couple .

But I disagree when you say he treats Archu like that cos she takes it.

In fact the fact that she takes it hurts him much much more, infinitely more. It is a very sensitive thing- when we do wrong to others, and we know this, then we expect them to get flared up at us, shout at us, scream at us. We consider it as our punishment. But when they don't do it and instead tolerate it silently or show sad acceptance, it hurts much more.

Think of your Mom, Tanya Di and this fact. It happens with me all the time- when I do something wrong, I expect my mother to shout at me. I call her up nervously, but then when she says ok and hides her disappointment I cry on the phone for having upsetted her. Its human nature. I'm sure it has happened to everyone here.

We could see this same thing in the serial: Archu's silence at the sindoor scene did not give Manav the encouragement to go ahead with the engagement (it gave Savita and Girish encouragement to go ahead with engagement) , rather it gave Manav a lot more fears. Having witnessed Archu's condition at the sindoor scene, he knew that Archu would be very very hurt and yet not say anything. So what did he do???

1.) He said that you go to your parents house for the day, since he knew it would hurt her very badly.

2.) He was sitting like a dead body at the engagemnt, while Archana was crying inside.

3.) After the engagement, he came to Archu and confessed that it pained him a lot to see her hurt that way and asked her to move on and forget him.

edit add:

After the engagement he shouted at his Aai two times for abusing Archana, so badly that his Aai had no option but to keep quiet.

He then accepted the Ganpati idol that she had given with tears in his eyes.

This is only one example, there are countless others.

agree with you on the above. I too think the engaement tore at his very soul especially when he saw her back and i think he did try to make an effort to stop it by telling varsha subtly the time of the engagement. he seemed hopeful when he saw archana at that time. but she squashed his hopes by being devi like abou the ceremony. he still loves her and does not want to disappoint her (if he can avoid it). hence his conflicting actions these days. I too can think of many examples where has tried to be more sensitive when having to do something painful to her because of his commitment and mom's insistence. he is still very very guilty about sachin.

What I don't get is his adamance to go through with the Choo wedding despite the total realization that he loves his wife uncontrollably?? very baffling one for me.

Hai Kool di. Wonderful Commentary as usual. Though all of us were dejected with manav's behavior in yesterday's episode,again you made us feel relieved with your fantastic and humor filled commentary.

Agreed with whatever Tanya di and you told about manav.

Till before yesterday's episode I was so confident that manav would Do something big to win back his love in the upcoming episodes. But yesterday he broke all those wishes again by being adamant in marrying shravani. I never thought he would ask permission like this and again repeat those words(what you think matters me as you are going to be my wife) which I hate to hear. Now I too Doubt whether he loves archu a lot.

Whenever Tanya di say he hasn't proved his love yet and he hasn't loved her and he has to do more ,I was wishing that manav should do a Big thing,so that Tanya di is Pleased and was waited for the day she accepts 'Yes Manav Loves Archu a lot'. But she was right,This Man doesn't deserves Archu Anymore. Here Also so Angry with him..Poor Archu she is left with nothing as Tanya di said after all what she has gone through and did.

He never asked his wife for Permission for any sort of thing. But asks permission from other woman,just for reason she is going to be his wife. Oh..He takes Archu for granted and doesn't think of asking her as she will not oppose anything he does. So Annoying........

Ok I accept he is also hurt,then why dont he think of an alternative.As guari di said still he doesn't have second thought on his decision to marry shravani. thats what makes me worried and doubt manav's love.

These BT people are really lucky to have sushant and ankita as the lead couple....hats off to them.

Ya so much true.After what was happened in the serial and what was happening ,we still stick to this show only because of the wonderful leads.
