Oh yeah!!! That's for sure...

To defeat this evil,you need to strategise and to tackle people like Rasika,openly and honestly standing up wont do any good...u have to beat them by thinking like them and doing the unexpected.

Just like with Savita .. someone like Raska came to make her a bheegi billi today . Someone more dangerous than rasika only can out smart her .

I don't think Manav, Archana and Vandita ....they have it in them to take on these guys ...

The most Manav and Archana can do is keep telling Vandita that they will always be there for her and she can change her mind about the marriage if things get too much ...

PR - like every other serial really - chooses to exploit for narrative purposes what is definitely an unequal relationship in the real life scenario, the one between the "boy's side" and the "girl's side", but does so with zero subtlety and no thought for plausibility. I mean, for those of us who've lived in India, haven't we seen this inequality between samdhi families at work in a hundred tiny and horrifyingly fascinating ways? Not necessarily all-out fisticuffs and police or womens' rights cases; instead, no less meaningful small snubs and low-key but real insults and injuries and innuendo over the course of years between two families. Actually very rich grist for a smart script or screenplay writer. I'd love to watch a serial that portrays a slow and thoughtful year-in-the-life-of--a-chawl, like Sai Paranjape's work for Doordarshan in the middle '80s (does anyone remember that? great stuff; capable of both humour and moving sadness). But then I guess today's TV screenplay and scriptwriters just aren't capable of such an effort; and, who knows, very likely the majority of domestic or even international viewers want the kind of action they now get?

This episode did not make a lot of sense to me. This is now getting far out of any realm of realism that was left.

One observation: there are a lot of circles in Rasika's home. On the walls, doors, artwork, pillows, everywhere its circles, circles, and more circles, even one of the beds is a circle. Golmaal hai bhai sab golmaal hai...

It is so simple

Today she told Slap Archu , everything will be equal .......did she stop?

Then she told slap Manav hisaab barabar .............was it stopped ?

Tomorrow she will ask Vandu to slap Savita as Savita caught Ajits collar !

Tomorrow , it will be told sell urself in a brothel ..........will Vandu do it ?

Blackmailing is one of the most dastardly crimes as it is regarded as the lowest , heinous crime that kills a person most slowly and cruelly by bleeding him to death .

In no way is giving in acceptable .

This Archu did it by studying the situation is rubbish . Archu herself accepted Savitas condition after Varshas engagement to enter the house although she had a court order and no power , even Savita cudnt stop her . Archu is self effacing by blood . She is not humble , she is way beyond that . She needs serious therapy .

Today she taught her nanand to accept a condition . And everyone is justifying her by saying .no no she studied Vandu's situation and realised , she did it to curb abuse ............I say BULL . { to the creatives...never to contradictory opinions please ]

Even when she has power she refuses to wield it , like in the case of Savita

Rasika cannot afford to Vandu walking out so quickly on them as she did a big drama in front of Mahila Samiti for taking back the president seat .Rasika is as vulnerable in a position as Vandu .Any report that within minutes domestic violence took place in Rasikas house will bring press to the door and MS ladies will demand her resignation

So capitalizing on that Archu shud have shown sum smartness in talks with Rasika . That you cannot afford this badnaami , better treat her real good .

Or she shud have explained to Vandu that she has been manipulated , see how Rasika has lied and what she is demanding now , and coaxed her to come back this moment saying AB BHI KUCH BIGDA NAHI ..this exchanging garlands is NOTHING .
