Archu is angry at Satish for making her late
Varsha calls Archu and tells her the court has been adjourned for 4 days
Archu goes home and tells Sulochana what happened
Vinod and Manju are talking about how they need money, and Manju calls her mother for money
Damodhar is happy Archu and Manav aren't divorced while everyone is angry
Manju's mom brings money for Vinod
Archu, Vaishu and Varsha come in and say they sold their jewelry for him
Vinod feels bad

Vinod refuses to take money from Manju's mom
Manav meets Archu and tell her that he'll pick her up for the next court date
Archu tells Varsha about her meeting with Manav and that no one can stop their divorce
Vinod gets emotional about his sisters and Manju isn't happy
Sulochana goes to the market with Punni, and loses her
Savita finds Punni and returns her to Sulochana
Savits warns her that if Archu comes in front of her, she won't spare her

Sulochana comes home with Punni and is angry at her
She tells Archu that she won't send her to that house ever again
Kaka tells Manav to renew the ration card
Archu meets Manav at the ration card office and gives him Sachin's death certificate
Manav and Archu both give money to a child beggar
Punni finds Archu's mangalsutra and starts dancing around with it
Manju hides the mangalsutra in the pooja thaali, and Archu takes the thaali before Manju can get the mangalsutra

Archu goes to the temple, and Manav ends up getting the mangalsutra
Shravni sees the mangalsutra in Manav's hands, and takes it
Damodhar talks to Manav about not divorcing Archu
Archu says she doesn't want to go back to Manav's house and ruin the peace of the house
Manav says he'll register his marriage to Shravni after the divorce hearing

Jan 11
Archu is going to night school and Manav and Archu both see each other
Their souls talk to each other and tell each other how they feel
Archu walks away and Manav looks on
Manav and Archu go about their day remembering each other
Varsha goes to meet Satish and tries to find a last hope to stop the divorce
Manav goes to pick up Archu for the court hearing
Savita decides to accompany Kaka and Damodhar to court
Manav and Archu both go to the mandir before getting to court

Jan 12
Everyone is at court and Satish is also there as Archu's friend
Archu takes Damodhar's blessings
In court, Archu says she doesn't want to divorce Manav and everyone is shocked
Varsha, Vaishu, Satish, and Damodhar are happy with her decision
Manav says he wants this divorce to happen at any cost
The judge tells them to live together for 3 months to try to sort out their problems
At home everyone is questioning Archu and she tells them that Manav is innocent
She tells them about the tape that Damodhar brought and that she can't live without Manav

Jan13
Savita is against Archu staying with them
Damodhar is trying to make her understand
Shravni starts packing her things since Archu is coming back, but Manav stops her
Satish congratulates his mom and tells her what happened in court
Manju's mom tells Manju to get the cassette and destroy it
Manju is trying to steal the cassette but is caught by Archu
Manju is accusing Manav, and Archu stands up and defends Manav
Manju says that only one of them can stay here
Archu says she's going back to her in-laws house and she can stay here

Jan 14
Archu packs her bags and says bye to everyone
Sulochana is angry that Archu is leaving the house
Sulochana doesn't give Archu blessings before she leaves
Archu reaches Manav's house and Savita is angry to see her there

Jan 15
Savita kicks Archu out of the house and Damodhar is trying to make her understand
Sulochana is questioning everyone at home on why they didn't stop Archu
Archu is sitting outside, and Savita starts bad mouthing her again
Damodhar scares Savtita and brings Archu inside
Shravni assures Girish that Manav will marry her
Sulochana has a bad dream and calls Archu
After the call ends, she sees Shravni and Manav come in the house

Every fortnight, I begin to like Satish just a little bit more! He not only understands Varsha so well, but he knows Archana just as well, and he proves it with this dialogue! Archana is the kind of selfless girl who buries down all her desires for her family, for her relationships. She understands what her family really wants without waiting for them to tell her, and she goes about doing everything possible to get them just what they want. I grinned as I heard Satish say this dialogue. In a world filled with selfish people, it is nice to see someone as noble as Archana (although I do agree, sometimes it gets overdone, but it is still nice to see every so often!!).

Dada, ayi ne hamesha hame ek baat batayi hain... jitna zaroori bhai aur behen ke beech mein raakhi ka dhaaga hota hain na , utna hi zaroori pyaar ka dhaga bhi hota hain, aur yahi pyaar un dono ko ek doosre ki zimidari utana sikatha hain - Varsha

This was probably my favorite family scene of the fortnight! This was such a beautiful dialogue, and it just makes me so thankful for the siblings I have. I love the bond Vinod and his sisters share, and this scene goes out to show that when the going gets tough sometimes it's your sibling you lean on for support.

Mujhe yeh talaak nahi chahiye - Archana

HURRAY!!!!! I leaped out of ecstasy when I heard Archana voice her decision in court! Haila!!! I was so happy for her. When we had almost lost just a teeny ounce of hope, Archana reeled us back in!! I was not expecting this to come so soon'*SIGH* what a smart way to use the tape!! This dialogue makes its place here because well, it just made me sooo happy!! (smiles gleefully)

Us ghar mein mere saath kya hoga, kaise hoga, yeh sab mein jaanthi hoon, lekin uske bawajood mein vaha jana chahti hoon, kyunki waha mere manav rehte hain. Woh kabhi kahenge nahi, lekin main jaanthi hoon, ki unhe meri kitni zaroorat hain, nafrat karne ke liye kyun na sahi, lekin unke archana ka unke saat hona bohut zaroori hain ayi - Archana

If there was one dialogue I absolutely adored this whole fortnight, it HAD to be this one!! I just loved this dialogue! It made me so uberly happy from within! I loved hearing about Manav like this from Archana! After her confession, we have not seen Archana talk so lovingly about her Manav, and this was definitely a delight to watch!! She knows she just cannot do without Manav, and neither can Manav go on without her. It was just such a lovely profession of her love for Manav.

Star Female - Without a doubt it can only be one person and that is archu ... at the start of the fortnight we see her be a fabulous sister and sell her jewellery for her brother's happiness ... then we see her refusing to get the divorce which was a delight to watch (hehehe!) ... then we see her stand up to her aai ...i think this was the best thing that has happened to archu, she has finally let go of her aai's paloo ... ankita as an actor has given justice to archu and has definatley delivered her lines to perfection... now i hope archu will succeed in her fight to get her manav back ...

Star Actor and Actress of the Fortnight

Male - Honestly, none of the male actors stood out very much this fortnight, as it was really Ankita's turn to get all of the good scenes. Many of the characters were interesting, but no male really stood out in the acting department. Sushant Rajput (Manav) and Ajay Wadhavkar (Damodar) did a good job as usual, but there was nothing stellar about their performances. There was an actor though who has shown tremendous improvement, and thus will be termed the Star Actor of the week. Anurag Sharma, who portrays Satish, has definitely improved from his initial days in the show. His expressions used to be rather funny, especially in the dramatic and emotional scenes; he just never seemed to get it quite right. Well, that has been changing and Anurag is evolving into a pretty good actor. He plays off of Priya Marathe (Varsha) very well, and it was in those scenes that his improved acting was highly visible. Hopefully he continues to improve and one day really becomes the Star Actor of the Fortnight rather than the Improved Actor of the Fortnight.

Female - Nobody should have to guess on this one, it undoubtedly goes to Ankita Lokhande for her portrayal of Archana. A majority of the strongest scenes from this past fortnight were given to Ankita and she did a wonderful job of doing justice to them. Ankita did a commendable job from January 4^th-8^th; her performance was generally good and her quiet but longing expressions during her interactions with Manav really brought out what Archana was feeling. This past week though (January 11^th-15^th), every single scene of Ankita's was noteworthy. From when she determinedly rejected the divorce, to the look of realization, and almost guilt, when she heard the proof of Manav's innocence, were noteworthy. The best acting came through in the scenes where she has her family listen to the tape and tells them of Manav's innocence, and then when she chose Manav over her aai. Ankita's portrayal of Archana's range of emotions is really praiseworthy, she brings across all of the different feelings very well, and often silently. Personally, I loved Ankita's acting when she was fighting with Manjusha, all of the tension between them felt so real that it was as if it was emanating off of the screen. Ankita was a always good actress - not bad but not the best - but after this past fortnight Ankita is definitely on her way to becoming one of television's best actresses.

ArMan Sequence of the Fortnight

In the gloomy fortnight that went past... most of the scenes centered only around the divorce scenario, which meant that ArMan fans literally starved for a scrumptious diet of ArMan scenes... however the first week did provide us some relief, as the eye locking and why-am-i-so-uncomfortable sessions of the soon-to-be-divorced guilt struck Mrs. and Mr. Deshmukh continued in the auto, in the line at the ration card office, at Sachin's asthi visarjan.. basically wherever they could meet.. sure, chance pe dance karna hi chahiye.. kyun??

However the ArMan scene of the fortnight was undoubtedly the scene the night before the divorce. It was wonderful the way Manav sensed Archana's presence, turned around and voila.. there she was behind him... staring at him with love in her eyes. The conversation between their spirits was astounding... the way they both confessed their failure in keeping up their relationship due to their lack of trust, their intense longing to stay together and their helplessness at imagining a future without each other... Although not an original having being used similarily in other BT serials...it was nostalgic to the hilt, and made ArMan fans long for a real heart -to -heart talk between these two sweeties who always preferred to converse in silence, now wouldn't that be an easy way to kiss and make up?

Best Family Scene of the Fortnight

Well, there wasnt many good family scenes this fortnight but two scenes really stood out for me... the first one was when vinod went upto his sisters and poured his heart out about how he felt so guilty of ever scolding his three sisters and how they have sacrificed alot for his happiness ... but the best scene of the fortnight has to go the three sisters when archu decides to leave home and vershu/vaishu are helping her to pack and archu says that she feels guilty for never listening to vershu when she told her that manav was innocent and how vershu/vaishu said they will always support there thaai and the best bit was the senti hug ... that was a really sweet moment between the three sisters ...

Mr. and Mrs. Head Turner [Style Icon] of the Fortnight

It was very difficult to choose this week Mr and Mrs. Head Turner of week as entire week we saw cast wearing same dress.

Mr. Head Turner : Really very difficult to choose as we hardly saw Manav this week:( and he was wearing usual blue color check shirt but he was looking cute.Even Satish wore maroon shirt in which he was not looking that bad and this week had he applied any lipstick as he has a accusation of applying purple color lipstick to match his purple color shirt .

Mrs. Head Turner : Again difficult to choose but both Archu's sisters looked nice..Vaishali looked good in orange kurta and she has nice hair. Varsha wore purple color kurta which suited her quiet well and it was good to see both of them looking good with very less accessory.

Garder Amour - Silent Love

There was a slight hesitation when Archana woke up that morning. The reason; she couldn't comprehend. All she could feel was that it was going to be a day the most precious relationship was going to die. She was getting engaged. Not to the person that she loved; rather to the person that her Ayi had chosen. Archana knew she had a responsibility towards her family and she would do anything to fulfill it. Even if it meant going through a thousand deaths for the rest of her life. Getting off the bed, she started her daily routine; folding the comforter, cooking for the family, dropping her niece at school and finishing up her daily errands. It was a rather special day for everyone but to Archana, it was probably the worst day ever. Not because she was getting engaged; rather because she felt guilty.

Being the oldest daughter in the family, she would get married before her sisters. They had waited for 3 years for him to return. Nothing came. She couldn't handle it anymore; her family had given so much, now it was her turn. Getting married to someone else was the only option she had left to keep her loved ones away from the dark eyes and cruel talks of society.

But she had promised him that she would wait, as long as it takes, for him to come back. She could remember that day like it had just happened.

-Flashback: Train Station (3 years ago)-

"Is it necessary for you to go?" Her eyes had already started watering. "Can't you stay here, we'll think of another solution, anything that'll get you to stay back. We'll look for a job in this city itself." Archana was in tears, the pain she was going through watching him leave. Her life, her soul, her everything.

"You know I don't have a choice, I did everything in my ability to find a solution, but this is the only way there is. No other option is left for me. For us. I promise to write every week, call whenever I get the chance, and as soon as I find a job, I'll come back and marry you. We'll start fresh, a new life; with the two of us." His body was shaking, the thought of being away from her was crushing him inside. Only he knew how hard it was to control himself in front of her. A thousand questions rang through his mind. What if he doesn't find a job? How will he live without seeing her beautiful smile everyday? What does God have planned for their future?

Hearing the horn of the slowly progressing train, Manav picked up his bags, and gave Archana his last hug. She was holding on tight, not wanting to let go. From a distance, they seemed as though they were two lovers that reunited after a long time, when in truth it was two lovers bidding good bye. Their last hug till time comes again of their meeting.

He climbed onto the train and turned one last time to look at her. Her pained face; with wet tears caressing her cheeks. She was holding his hand, letting go and the train started moving faster. Her last sentence "I'll wait for you. Come back soon."

Manav felt his life slipping away, the only re-assurance, she'll wait for him. No matter what.

Thode bheege bheege se thode nam hai hum

Kal se soye voye bhi kam hai hum

-Present-

It was a nightmare going through that day again. Re-living the pain she felt when he left her. Her whole life had transformed after that, for the better or worse, she didn't know. Manav never called, not a letter received, not a letter sent. It was as though he was completely non-existent; no trace of a person named Manav. Scary thoughts raced through her mind everyday, but she knew nothing could happen to him, for as long as he was alive, Archana's heart would still be beating. The day something happened to him, her heart would crumble and she would know.

-8:00 pm-

It was a celebration in the Karanjkar house hold. Guests were pouring in, one after another. Eating, dancing, enjoying.

Archana sat in her room, all dressed, waiting to be called outside for the ring ceremony. Her whole body was drenched in guilt and sadness, for she would be no longer his after the night. "Beta Archana'come out child, it's time." Hearing her mother call her, she stood up, put the dupatta on her shoulder and walked out. Each step she took towards Satish, she took a step away from the most pure relationship she had. The strength of family had over powered her love for him.

A car stopped outside, and a man stepped out. It felt nice to come back to her, he thought. He would finally be able to step foot proudly in her house, as a man of honour and value. Not just the mere mechanic anymore. Manav had returned.

Walking to the door, he was about to knock when he saw his love walking towards another. She was all dressed up, for some kind of occasion. He saw someone take her hand, and slip a ring onto her finger. His love was gone.

Manav slowly walked back to his car, without saying a word to anyone. Archana was happy, with him or someone else, it didn't matter. He can't go back and ruin her life again. Sitting in the car , he went away from her life, for the second time in 4 years.

Pehli baar mohabbat ki hai

Aakhiri baar mohabbat ki hai

-That night was one of life and death. A relationship had just been born, with the death of another. -

Johnny is off

One day little Johnny went to his father, and asked him if he could buy him a $200 bicycle for his birthday.Johnny's father said, "Johnny, we have a $80,000 mortgage on the house, and you want me to buy you a bicycle? Wait until Christmas."Christmas came around, and Johnny asked again.The father said, "Well, the mortgage is still extremely high, sorry about that. Ask me again some other time."Well, about 2 days later, the boy was seen walking out of the house with all his belongings in a suitcase. The father felt sorry for him, and asked him why he was leaving.The boy said, "Yesterday I was walking past your room, and I heard you say that you were pulling out, and mommy said that you should wait because she was coming too, and DAMN if I'll get stuck with an $80,000 mortgage!"

Hahahahaha! this was hilarious! (or atleast I thought it was) The last sentence just cracked me up..not really that good, cuz when I first read this I was in the library. Not good at all.

Little Johnny is such a dumb but cute kid!! how he said DAMN if ...! WOW! Kids these daaaays I tell you!

I think that man's name starts with a DDDDDDDD! It's funny how most of the jokes revolve around TWO people and only TWO people!! One the victim (Damodar) and the other gulity party (Savita the dracula)

Review for Fortnight

Well this fortnite was really not bad considering that the truth was finally out and atleast Archana believed it despite her family desperately wanting her to do otherwise ....but the point still remains that MAR trio still get away with it ...i mean manjusha has the guts to openly defend her cheap brother because she knows that the karanjkars are plain stupid and trust the wrong people.So Archu going to Manav's place but Arman getting together in the real sense still kinda looks distant as manav is now for shravani ....i mean if one lead becomes smart the other one has to turn dumb for sure ,the day we have two smart leads i think the show will be a blockbuster not that with one smart and other one being dumb combo the show isnt a blockbuster ...pavitra rishta is the prime example!!!!

My rating for the week ((3+1=4)/5) (Finally i gave a 4 ...i dont think i have rated a fortnite that high but this one got 1 extra mark for Sasha ...they are really coming up well).

Expectations for next Fortnight

Although, of course, we would hope for dramatic improvement in the next fortnight, this is afterall a serial and thus dragging will ensue. A noted pattern in Pavitra Rishta is that we will get a fortnight of power-packed scenes and then a fortnight that is well, boring. If the pattern continues then we should expect some rather disappointing episodes. For what is the major part of the story (Archana/Manav/Deshmukh household) some sad days are foreseen. It is likely that Archana will be at the receiving end of more humiliation and treacherous treatment, whilst Manav will continue with his coldness and pseudo-indifference. Savita should be screaming quite a bit whilst Damodar tries to protect Archana. Shravani shall continue just being there and giving her one stone-faced expression. There is doubtfully any scope for Kaka or Vandita in the coming fortnight. At the Karanjkar house there may be some drama with Manjusha, Vinod, and the new flat. Sulochana will worry day and night about Archana whilst Vaishali will attempt to comfort her and Manohar will continue to adjust his glasses. Varsha and Satish may have something positive going on and Varsha may begin to reciprocate Satish's feelings. Yet, Bhavana and Rasika will be making some new scheme or plan to ruin everyone's lives.

Now without any sarcasm and rather concisely, this upcoming fortnight will probably filled with quite a bit of pain and emotional drama. It is to be seen how Archana will react to the news of Manav and Shravani's impending wedding, and how her life will be now in the Deshmukh home. Near the end of the fortnight though, Manav may be shown softening slightly in his attitude towards Archana, or atleast we can hope so.
