Agree now after reading all posts - Archana doesnt really think with her own head but follows her mother's footsteps blindly..Her mother only wanted an educated and rich boy, regardless if he had some worth in humanity at all!! Her mother always thinks about how Archana has sacrificed so much for her family, and her mother in turn is continuing in doing so - sacrificying Archana's happiness again!!
