I won't call Archana crazy, she is just too obedient and may I say "devoted" child of her mother. Her mother's wishes and happiness are above anything for her. If we forget the current situation, Archana and her mother are each others' best friends and confidants. I think Archu is her aayi's best friend, but not aayi...I mean even after Archu told her aayi what kind of husband she wanted Solochana didn't think two ways about it and even try to consider Manav to be the kind of guy that Archu always wanted.The way they understand each other no one else in the family does. If you remember one of the earlier episode, her baba asks her to talk with her Aai to agree for a less educated guy, as her Aai listens to her and only her, she had said that she would not do that as it was her Aai's dream to get her married in a good, well-to-do family. Due to all these reasons it is impossible that Archana will go aganist her Aai.I agree that she will never go against her aayi and I also will not refer to Archu as crazy...but I do think that they both could have a better understanding of each other...I mean it's so simple to always think in the girl's case...but why can't Archu (for the sake of her family's rep) EVEN talk to aayi and ask her what she wants her to do...because seriously living as a wedded girl in front of her aayi's eyes is not really following aayi's wishes either.
Moreover, as many of you have pointed out, Archana doesn't love Manav. She respects him.Does she really? I don't even think she has even that for him yet...I mean at a point I thought she did, because of all that he had done for her, but after marriage it just disappeared. I mean she could've heard him out if she really respected him no? I would also agree that Archana would do duty of a wife, but love seems far far away. Archana searching for her mangalsutra the other day showed her respect for the tradition of marriage, and not Manav. It is sad but I would agree with what others have said that Manav deserves someone who loves him. Archana will be an ideal/devoted wife of her husband, while Manav has that devotion and love for "Archana".👏 I fully agree...she doesn't even love him yet so why should she pick him over her mother...but I do think she is wrong for taking OFF the mangalsutra because that is disrespect of traditions, and I do think she is wrong for not even trying to talk to her aayi.
I wonder how Archana who doesn't look beyond her Ayi and her family will love Manav. Feel sad for Manav. I feel extremely bad for Manav. Just because Archu's family is from the girl's side does not mean that only they are hurt and humiliated...well Manav just lost the girl he really really loves and he got humiliated and his family has to face humiliation too.
As someone has predicted, this being an Ekta serial, removing mangalsutra may be a bad omen, and Archana will feel for Manav. But, I personally do not like the situation. Why does a deserving guy has to be on a death..oops..hospital bed to get a glimpse of his beloved?yes I predicted this😆 why I will tell you...one because it is an Ekta serial...second because I do not see any means of communication happening between Aayi and Archu, so in order to develop feelings for Manav in Archu's heart we will have to torture Manav a little. This is definitely wrong, but I think at this point both Solochana and Archu need a reality check--the world is not about what Solochana wants...it's also about other people, who are suffering too (Manav, his family, Archu's baba, Vinod, Vaishali, & Archu).
