You only need to see what happened to Saraswatichandra. The source material was mind-blowing but they still couldn't make the best of it and ended up changing the story. The leads' chemistry kept it going for ages but the core story was messed up early on.

There's also the matter of lack of 'courage' to show tough situation and the harsh truth of how things play out in real life. Stories do not always have happy endings, nor do they turn out the way we would like.

I agree, regional stuff is really interesting but when turned into shows for Hindi GEC it all goes haywire. Badalte Rishton ki Daastan is a great example of that.

I know a lot of people who crave for finite shows, and I wish they would have real finite shows, i.e. end in 3-4 months. If channels give PH's the space to tell their story, over time people's tastes and tolerance would improve too.

That is one reason Pakistani shows do well - the whole series is usually shot before it's aired, and people tell watch the story unfold the way the makers want it to. TRP does not bias or influence the plot. They tried this with Tamanna, which was a great show but a lot of people just didn't get it.

Aur K-serials ki to baat hi mat karo - toxicity that ruined ITV and made the depiction of women even more regressive over time.

It would have been path breaking storyline to show a man and woman coparenting a child without being romantically involved.

Actually this is what we thought in beginning the the romancetic angle would not be brought in and it would just remain a story about how babita and mini overcome their struggles.

KK has lost it... The show for me has become a crap... The story and the emancipation which the wanna show is bull shit...i mean u forgot your struggle wow....

Donno why the are continuing... The should have ended the show by hanita marriage....

I will only cherish the first 200 episodes... For me the show doesn't exist after that... Kk is insulting all woman in the world....

Today i was going through the news paper hindustan times. There is an interview of a lady who is editor in cheif of a local newspaper in bundelkhand. This lady who seems to be of babitas age belongs to a family of farmers in a small village in bundelkhand. She never went to school as it was believed in the village that working in the farm fill their stomach and not education. They didnt even have a primary school in their village. This girl got married at the age of 12. When she was 13 she came to know an NGO working in her village encourage girls to educate themselves, so shr convinced her parents and got herself enrolled there. She went to school after working in her farm everyday. Today she has a masters degree anf also she is editor in chief of a local news paper. Now this is called emancipation and progress.

What kk is trying to feed viewers in he name of truth is bullshit.when a women from village can do so much in her life, and mind you she is not of todays generation. Kk is projecting a women from city with quiet a good educational background to be brainless, foolish, selfish, dark, useless, gutless all into one, itna bura toh hollywood/ bollywood/ balaji ka villian bhi nahi hota.

KK writers, you have completely lost respect in my eyes. Todays generation is bold and courageous because our generation (i.e) has seen to it that they get all that which our generation could not get.

Please stop insulting women like babita who have gone through a lot in life by showing that they dont value themselves and are selfish and useless.

No generation is completely right or completely wrong.

Its like I said before, why should Babita not have love in her Life, as She is still young.

Here I think that the Show was doing so well upto 200 episodes and was supposed to finish with Ladies Special as these were both short shows.

But something Happened with RS/KK and Paridth which we are not told about, maybe her Character was not going the way She was told it would go, here RS, must have got on her high horse and maybe things soured her, and it must have happened around the same time as the Imarti track and here it is noticeable about the subtle and the butchering if her Character, and at the same time Mini started getting more scenes and her started the build up to Season 2 with Bacheri Mini the great, and interesting Ashnoor was consulted and She agreed to so it, and when the Bacheri Mini was turned into the wise one did they axe Paridth and Ariduth after sidelining them for over 2 Months.

RS and KK have totally ruined Babita's role and now will show that She will be left alone again, this is even hinted all the time by the Great big wise one Mini, who will than flow into Season 2 just like that and have finished University just like that and with money appearing from the sky to study in a foreign Country, Opps but wait a minute all that whitewashing of the Khuranas as Models earning Lakhs and rich overnight, as Bacheri Mini has the Midas touch. Even Ashok who went to London broke and no job will be suddenly rich, is unreal.

Here RS hates Babita so much that She is making her the Villain who will be left with nothing but Babita enemies will become Wealthy as She loves them so much like Bacheri Mini, Khuranas and Khatri as well.

What a shame that such a promising Serial destroyed like this by RS and KK, and they have no genuine reason to give for this. As they have messed up big time time and in her Daughter Ashnoor she has disrespected talented Actors.

No wonder Paridth looked so mad when her picture was published a few days ago, as everyone is blaming Babita Character and not the writers, I wonder if RS is jealous of Paridth Jodha Akbar Serial where She was so good and now is trying the opposite so that she gets negative comments, and that the real reason RS done this will be ignored.

Its this that I think that a talented Actor that Paridth is getting fed up off, as She is a true Actor who has given her best in her scenes but all destroyed at the whim of RS to promote Ashnoor.

In all the interviews that Paridth and Ashoor gave with Ariduth before they were axed that her discomfort is shown in the portrayal of Babita role and She must have said something to RS who does not like constructive criticism and that too from Actors, in hindsight it is seen that She was not Happy.

Will all this Bacheri Mini the great old wise one is being set up so unrealistic that its going to be a case of pride before a fall.
