All characters need good foils to be compelling.....without HS and Babita, what will be Mini's journey?

They will try to spin her as some kind of damaged kid who is "surviving" after the endless tragedies in her life? Yeah, I'm not sure how that will work.

The only reason I was sitting through the twists and turns was with the general feel that ultimately this family will overcome all odds and build something together.

Bold: her own life potentially? As in getting somewhere career wise, building her own identity and not being happy with just being a wife and mother

Bold 2: she IS a damaged kid. Most often than not kids from broken marriages ARE damaged, with a ton of insecurities and daddy issues. They often go on to choose men to almost replicate the father they never had.

Perhaps the makers were forced into taking this route by the main actors refusal to be older parents? I have seen that this is one of the reasons why the actors quit.

Even with all its flaws and faults I still reckon it’s the best Indian show on tv right now, in my opinion

My dear the Bacheri Mini you are describing has been made great after butchering Babita as a Mother and HS badly as a honest Policemen to a Con and cheat.

So please stop this Mini worship as its all been done by Katha Kottage fascination with Mini that she has ni shame at all in doing to justify Bacheri Mini the fierce

I hope that no PH employs Katha Kottage and shame on Sony Liv for allowing it and she has taken tje personal route which is even worse.

You may want to read my response again because you come across as misunderstand me in your hate for the fictional character of mini.

I did express my disappointment that the actors who playhs and babita are leaving, if it were up to me I’d prefer them to stay and for them to receive better scripts (as it used to be pre wedding, mainly pre imarti) however this is not the case and I’m not surprised that the actors have decided to jump ship in seeing how their characters have evolved so negatively and it’s not what they signed up for. Due to the poor writing, I have started preferring mini however this is not due to the actors or characters, but what the writers have turned hs and babitas character into. It’s purely a writing fault. Btw I do not worship mini, I admire her and I also believe the writers could have made the viewer have sympathy for her without butchering the 2 main characters. It is purely a writing fault, no one else’s imo.

Even with recast, possibly no1 can fill these 2 huge shoes, but if they can sort out the writing they can still somewhat salvage the show, even if it’s not to it’s former glory (it will never be what is was with hs and babita quitting and it hasn’t been what it was for a while).

You kind of understand why they quit, it they successfully get away with playing parents of 20 something year old daughter, it will limit their future roles to mainly older roles, and they’re both still quite young.

God knows what the writers were thinking is all I can say

I don’t really buy that. The makers were not capitalizing on evolving the existing bonds and instead are trying to jump forward with another baby and aging the characters when it wasn’t needed yet. So much story was left.

This is just a lame excuse that many writers use about actors not wanting to age 🙄🙄....:the story doesn’t even need the characters to age yet cuz so many issues needed to be resolved....especially evolving HS and Mini....They are just choosing lame twists instead.

And if the whole show will just remain an endless cycle of “damaged” souls, isn’t that an endlessly depressing story? What’s the point then? 🙄🤷‍♀️ So people can keep coming and going in Mini’s life and she will remain a forever damaged soul? 🙄 I’m not against Mini building her own identity but not by kicking out two main pillars in her life so abruptly🙄....we all step out on our own in life but who says it has to come at the cost of losing our loved ones only?

Babita isn’t going to be really happy just being a housewife in the long run either but now the show won’t even explore that and likely leave a tragic end to add to the “damaged” Mini angle.

I mean you’re welcome to hope for season 2🤷‍♀️ but I can see that the essence of the show will be lost. It won’t survive on “damaged” Mini alone.

You are probably right and it won’t survive, but it was never meant to survive for a long time anyways. Ideally I personally would have preferred it to end with the same 3 it started but from what I’ve seen on Indian serials, it’s got to go downhill before it ends and can never end at just the right time. But who knows? It’s so hard to believe it’s the same writers that have written the show in the first place that it now seems to have done a 360.

I dont think actors are quitting due to leap or even having to older parents. Aren't they already playing that? Paridhi is already playing mother to a 18 yr old. 5 yrs addition se kya hojayega? I think its bec of the story line planned for them. Look at how much babita's character is butchered already and paridhi is always shading babes and it was obvious she was not liking it. HS is on his way to be sautela uncaring baap only. He is not attached that much to mini as fans think. I mean thats what CVs are saying thru the CD issue and also assure karne beti bola thing.😆 CVs want them to play older parents with ruined characterization.😆

No one wanted the show to last for a long time or run endlessly as far as I could tell 🤷‍♀️....all people wanted was a good resolution to this journey for all three characters.

I still don’t understand why they did such a grand marriage track and then used it to drag the characters down to the very cliches they spent 200 epis rising above 🙄. If it was just going to come down to the stereotypes, why so much gyaan for so long about “empowerment”?

If all it was going to come down to was - oh, all women default to the holes they are comfortable in, a child will always be an awkward third wheel in a second marriage 🙄, and dil se bane rishte never last once shaadi happens, then why bother spending so much money?

Should have just shown a quick simple marriage and then shown that all the characters will amount to this only and the end with a note about how “real” the ending was 🙄🙄

Don’t blame them to be honest. It won’t be what they signed up for so it’s no surprise that they want to leave when theyre characters have turned more into villains that someone to admire.

Who knows who to believe cos not few days ago I saw actor that plays hs say on Twitter that there will be no leap 🤷‍♀️ Now suddenly there’s a leap PLUS no hanita (well not the original)

I also like mini's fierceness and her character, but i feel the makers are going to butcher her character also in this leap thing. I just want season 1 to end before leap with a good note. Mini happily going to study and babita HS also happy.

Mini is also about the other relations which she has with on the show. The main these of the show is mother daughter relationship but for me this relation was always one sided. Babita was never up to the level of understanding with mini to have such a emotional bond with her. Mini would always need someone in her life to give her emotional stability which babita cant provide. this is apparent in the way babita has behaved before and is behaving these days. I felt HS was such a person. The only time i saw mini -babita in an equal relation was when HS was involved between them before marriage and used to equally support mini & babita. But in their bid to make babita -mini relation the main focus of the story they failed with HS mini. So mini will only think of babita and babita will will be dependent on mini always. In their bid to give only mini-Babita importance the makers have failed to integrate other relationships with them. So suddenly HS dosent think of mini and Babita HS relation has become superficial with no deep understanding between them.
