Yes, and just like Babita had to learn that she didn't need to restrict herself and had every right to enjoy life to the fullest, he has to learn that he has no reason to restrict himself from welcoming love and happiness with open arms.

Maybe... I have actually never seen or heard of such happenings in my life. Lekin accept toh karna hi padega. Babita is good in her sphere. But, I am sure Babita's character that she is today( strong willed, determined etc), is all because of HS. And maybe, the way she is now was how Imarti was. In a way, maybe that's what made him fall for her....

He fell in love with her while she started on the path to becoming strong like Imarti. She's not there yet and he will continue to support her all the way and it's in this journey of sharing her pain that he found an outlet for his. I think Babita's innate goodness also attracted him, and let's not forget one of the main reasons: she is the mother of his child. Minnie is a BIG factor in his life and his development over the past year.

@bold exactly. What was a pipe dream has now the potential to become his new reality. He had been happy to wait for her, but I have a feeling that he may not have expected to sense that she may have the same passion and pain. The last few days it's come to the fore.

He has been shown to drink to escape his demons but I think he is also using it to escape the fact that he now has to deal with it all, especially if he eventually marries Babita and not just be her lover from a distance. He never planned to fall in love with her, and as you said he went with the flow so he never planned that far into the future as to how their relationship would end up. He has known the complications from day one, but I think he was just wanting things to unravel one by one. Now with Minnie and Naeem Bi's pushing he's had to come to term with uncomfortable things much sooner than he would have wanted to.

Bold.. this is the thing I don't want. I don't want him to push himself because, evidently ,he is the first one to fall in love and pulled the other person to him. Because that all happened organically and wasn't his mistake. I want him to open himself , tackle with emotions and proposed when he is damn sure to lead a life with her. They both dont deserve to be second of each other.

I think that might be why they showed Minnie rushing them, to make everyone understand that it's not so easy. It's not an on and off switch. Things need to be resolved in a natural manner. HS gave them both time and space, now they have to give him time and space to come out of his grief while supporting him. It is as much a test for them both as it is for him.

I am wondering how Minnie is going to handle seeing her hero, her idol have to fight this battle and how she will feel when she sees him breaking down openly after opening the floodgates.

Many a times I think .... Had it not been for Mini Hanuman and Babita could never have shared such a bond. There are so many times when these two came together and became Mini's parents. She would never have trusted him so much and true that a part of him loves Babita because of the kind of mother she is and that she is his daughter ki mother. For him ... Mini is his baby!

He has never said he sees Imarti in her. His love for her is a whole different thing. He didn't realise he's falling until he was in love.

@bold, nicely put. That's the good thing about him. He doesn't expect the same things from Babita as he did from Imarti.

I still remember how curiously she was listening to HS talking to Minnie about Imarti, trying to imagine what kind of woman she was. I think that partly also makes her feel undeserving of HS compared to the great Imarti.

I also think the trust that developed between HS and Babita was because they saw each other as co-parents, and it's a dynamic that subconsciously given them a certain level of comfort with each other.

With Imarti it may have been marriage, then love, then parenting children together but with Babita it has been parenting Minnie, then love, and then marriage.
