Highlights:
DR breaks down on Swapnils death
The lawyer for Radha arrives and is shocked to learn about Swapnils death

Update:
Dr is waiting eagerly for Swapnil to arrive. Radha is teary at her condition and when the the doorbell rings, DR runs excitedly to the door where she calls out to Swapnil but instead finds the police there. She screams at them telling them to go away as Swapnil is fine and tells Radha to say the same to them. Radha questions the inspector who says that they have brought something which needs to be identified by Radha. He adds that they found a body near the river which they believe belongs to Swapnil and so want DR to identify the clothes as the body is completely damaged. DR is stunned and slowly takes the clothes, watch etc. and breaks down crying; screaming Swapnils name.
Radha hugs her and tries to console her.
Next day...
Radha is in the living room lost in thought when a man arrives at the door; he introduces himself as advocate Rangra [? – Didn't get his name.] and says that he is here to go over the points of the case and also wants to meet Swapnil. He calls out to him and Radha realizes that he has no idea about the accident. He notices her lost look and asks if Swapnil is not before calling out to DR who arrives in a white sari. The lawyer is shocked. DR tells him that Swapni is dead but that doesn't mean they will stall the case as she wants to prove Radha innocent. The lawyer agrees but still looks shocked as Radha is teary.
Joshi house...
Meghna is annoyed looking at the clock as Mandira could arrive anytime. She wonders how she should get Avinash under her control as once Mandira arrives he will run after her. She decides become the perfect bahu and plans to cook several dishes to win over Avinash's heart.
Shergill house...
Sangi is on the phone and about to leave the house when the police arrive saying that she must come with them to the police station right now in regards to Radha's case. She is furious and says that she needs to call her lawyer first but the inspector stops her. She glares at him but he apologises saying that she can call from the police station. Sangi doesn't give in easily and warns them.
Shergill house...
Meghna is downstairs doing pooja and wakes Avinash up who is irritated and tries to get back to sleep. He finally sits up and wonders who is doing Arthi so early in the morning and goes downstairs followed by Aai and Aaje – who both look surprised at seeing Meghna there. Meghna turns around and says that she was so involved in the puja that she did not even hear them arrive. She does the arthi for Avinash and bends down to take his blessings saying that husband is the form of God. Avinash backs away.
Lawyers office...
Sangi's lawyer Patil is on the phone saying that the case should not be re-opened when Sangi storms in saying today for the first time she was insulted for the first time; and that to because of Radha. She is furious saying that now no-one can save Radha. Patil tries to calm her down but Sangi says that now she will only find peace when she completely destroys Radha and that the case should not be re-opened. Patil agrees saying that he is also working at not trying to open the case as Radha's lawyer has never lost a case once.
Sangi tells him to find out whether Radha is still living with DR and to give her all the details right now. She thinks to herself that she will not allow the case to open as Radha will not be able to open her mouth.
