You are missing the entire part about the circumstances in Pari grew up. To a girl like her, it is the religious aspect of marriage that matters the most. Sindoor, mangalsutra, phere.. and all this happened in RajNeeti's marriage. In her eyes the only problem was Bajwas not accepting Neeti. She made sure that they accepted Neeti. That's were her responsibilities ended for her. Rajeev didn't need to be married to Pari to get her help. Even if he divorced her, she would have helped him. Truth is, none of them bothered with it and let things as they are. May be because they didn't think it will be an issue or may be because they simply couldn't bother.

The entire discussion is going off tangent. No matter who did what, fact is, Rajeev and Pari are still legally married. And not even Neeti is bothered about it. She's just using divorce as a ploy to blackmail Rajeev to throw out Pari. Even she don't care about the legal status of her marriage, as long as Pari stays away. Jab Neeti ko khud nahi padi hai apni shaadi ki toh why would anyone else be bothered.

@bold- Because Rajeev claimed to love Neeti. They said they loved each other, they were married religiously and that's what was important for her. She didn't think of the legal formalities. Frankly, no one did. So why's Pari being held responsible?

She tried to leave multiple times. People kept stopping her. And the emotional fool that she is, she continued to stay getting humiliated time and again.

I didn't say Rajeev married Pari to get her help. I said, he didn't need to stay married to her to get her help. She would have helped him anyways. So that is not a valid excuse for him bringing up divorce.

I don't even see the point of this discussion. You claimed Pari to be some great manipulator who purposely didn't divorce Rajeev. That is not true at all. Nobody bothered about divorce. It is not just Pari's fault or makes her a manipulator.
