I don't think time slot change had anything to do with it. As long as story is good, ppl will watch the show. This show didn't do well as the makers didn't stick one bit to the original story line and
compared to other shows in the same timeslot, this was by far the weakest... where story was concerned.[/QUOTE]
I disagree with you when you say that it had the weakest story -- Some of the tracks were not acceptable but every other serial has tracks like that but in comparison to the other serials Parichay is still the most realistic with a very natural setting which was not loud & OTT with overdone makeup, gaudy dresses or overacting -- Parichay has one of the most talented star caste & no other colors lead jodis can compare to SINAL in terms of acting or chemistry as none of them are as captivating as Kunal -Siddhi (Sameer & Keerti) -- I think the only other Jodi that came close to SINAL were IPKKND lead -- This is my POV no offence to anyone.
I agree that time slot change was the reason for low TRPs because how many people would stay awake at 10.30 when they could see the replay at a convenient time the following day ????? Over the last 2 months the story has been meaningful & interesting & all the channel needed to do was give it a time slot change before deciding to pull it off air --- Colors ran a number of polls since valentines day & Parichay topped in all the polls so why was public opinion disregarded ??? WHY DID THE CHANNEL RUN POLLS IF THEY HAD NO INTENTION OF LOOKING AT THE RESULTS & CONSIDERING VIEWERS OPINION.
I would like to challenge colors to changes the time slot of they current top serials to 10.30 slot without promoting it with proper promos & find out how many people would prefer watching it the following day at a more convenient time so that it would prevent them from making decisions in future which affect loyal colors viewers of a unique serial like parichay --
If Colors values the opinion of this segment of intelligent viewers they will prove it by confirming Parichay season 2 SOON
