you know I feel it's not that Kunal is just reduced to female lead's love interest; but I have no idea what he is at this moment.
There is no consistency. This track was hoped to lead to Kunal's professional front but it lost track in the mid-way. and right now I have no idea where things are going. It not that Kunal is being sidelined and Siddhi is in center, I feel really no one is in center.

Begining of the track Kunal was thinking somewhat logically and try to understand situation. So his steps were more or less appropriate. But then they just threw Kunal in back with blank face. But after that I don't feel anyone is thinking straight. People are just having mentos moment at random point. At times Siddhi does wonderful job handling Thakral but then she acts impulsive. Vikram all of the sudden thinks this may be a trap but initially he sat quite for Cvs know what reason. I guess this is what happens when the lead is not in the center??

as much as I like Siddhi and KN; I still don't feel satisfied if Kunal is not there. Yes Sameer sir's acting is what is still running the show.

Frankly, I am very glad for this post. So Fari thank you for this. Because this forum which had such a great set of writers who never once shirked from voicing their opinion, good or bad about the show, have all gone away because of the drastic degeneration of the show. And what are we left with? People who will never say anything critical about the show and try to suppress others opinion by labeling it bashing. The forum had become an insipid place to hang around with barely a post a day worthy of reading or commenting on. It is not the place anymore where I have enjoyed many a friendly, intelligent debate with fellow fans of the show.

Let's admit it the show has lost focus and meandered far, far away from the original promise. But we tried to get the CVs back on track by criticising, commenting, offering suggestions, ranting, giving ideas and still continue to do so through the forum and Facebook in the hope that we jog the creativity cells in the minds of the so called CVs. That is what a responsible audience does. So friends please feel free to comment without fear of being called a basher. Share your opinions and ideas about what the show should look like.

As always you, the audience, is the boss. Tell them whats working and whats not.

Agree with the critic that Samir's mature acting is the only saving grace in this show and sadly that's exactly what's been missing in the show for major part since the beginning of the show.

When Anand was alive, it was him who grabbed all the limelight with occupying majority part of the screen space and after his death, it's been Siddhi who has been hogging the limelight😉. At least Anand was a good actor😉

Each & every organ fulfills a function in the smooth running of the human body, but when the heart stops beating, the person is pronounced clinically dead & the other organs are rendered useless.

Without Samir Soni, the other good actors fade into oblivion & are of as much use to the show as a human body without a heartbeat.

I don't say this as some fan of SS, but as a viewer who is still waiting to see the promised concept materialize in at least one track.
I have been saying time and again, if you are showing all daily soaps 5 times a week, you are sacrificing the content of the show. No matter how good actor Sameer, keerti, abhay, mona are if they are not supported by content than its a flop a show. RaOne had all the ingredients to be a blockbuster but content failed badly. All daily soaps should be shown twice in a week so CVs can concentrate on their jobs.

Jay, I get it that you like Kunal & Siddhi individually & that you like them as a couple, but the story first & foremost was about KC's identity (Parichay). It was presumed, through the press releases & trailers, to be a show about a man overcoming a crisis, reinventing himself & facing his inner self based on his learned values of integrity & wisdom.

You must have learnt, Jay, that we all derive identity from the world around us, we create images of how we want to see ourselves, and then we set about making ourselves "seen" in the world so our images can be reflected back to us through the desire of others. What does KC see when he sees his reflection in the mirror? Is he the person he set out to be? Is he the person the audience hoped he would be?
Life development according to Erik Erikson occurs over 8 stages, from infancy to old age. Stage 7 deals with adulthood where a choice between generativity or stagnation must be made. This stage lasts from the age of 26 to the age of 40, if I remember correctly. The person must decide on striving for success in their business or personal life or to take what's given to them. KC has more often than not always just taken what's given to him, he's been portrayed to be a victim of fate right from the time of his "fateful" marriage. In effect, what we want to see is KC break free of the shackles of his own self image & get close to his true unconscious. If there is a loving wife along the way, so be it, but she can only be one part of his emerging identity
.
Unfortunately at this juncture, KC's identity is erroneously & unjustly tied up in his wife's who ironically wasn't even part of the promos

I don't even see KC's identity anywhere , he seems to be a mere instrument is shaping Sid's identity!😡

Not only does Eric Erikson say that even in our vedas it says that life between 25 to 50 is called Gruhasth Ashram - meaning the man has to take care of his family. Taking care just does not mean loving his pretty wife - it means taking care of their needs as well. So Fari - we are so right in saying that this man - KUNAL CHOPRA lacks his identity.

Matlab sare ghar ke mard ko pata hain yeh bakwas dikha rahe hain?😕 .
- Thanks for proving the point that this show is no where near being a MALE CENTRIC show.
Please don't make this Male v/s Female post.
