Parichay - Then & Now - Page 4

I was so impressed with Parichay, its promos...they were captivating...
but the show lost its charm when the main story was sidelined and nothing like "Kunal Chopra" was left in show...

Yes I do like Kunal-Siddhi individually & as a couple.
But I too started watching the shoe for Kunal. Along the way I formed liking for SINAL. but to me SINAL is an important factor of Kunal's Parichay. I don't mind seeing them as most important part so it receives good amount of attention. I've said this before, foremost Kunal had lost connection with life & his self. What Kunal needed was true acceptance of his character. I see Kunal as a person who values personal achievement more than professional. So Siddhi provided the acceptance that would serve as immense strength for Kunal. Kunal was rejected by all, but now he can feel safe no matter what happens, dome one is truly always there with choice to be with him. So I like how his personal life turned out.

But I am with you guys on the fact that same progression & stability is required to come in professional life. I am not satisfied with what we have seen so far, not because it was all nonsense but that is not all. There still is more to explore.
The story from Kunal's perspective, I would say I saw it more or less till confession as Kunal would reflect on what has happened. He questioned his being, relationships, his actions, etc. But that was lost after that. I even made post that I miss Kunal's diary & reflection.
Ever since then the story tries to get there but lost in a moment. In initial stages of this track, I saw may be story is getting to where Kunal stand. But right now I just don't know. It's not Kunal is just love interest or Siddhi is in center, I feel currently story is only going on the name of Kunal. I don't mind Siddhi gaining some dominance as long as it is relevant to Kunal.

Frankly, I am very glad for this post. So Fari thank you for this. Because this forum which had such a great set of writers who never once shirked from voicing their opinion, good or bad about the show, have all gone away because of the drastic degeneration of the show. That is what a responsible audience does. So friends please feel free to comment without fear of being called a basher. Share your opinions and ideas about what the show should look like.

As always you, the audience, is the boss. Tell them whats working and whats not.

LOL, you're right Annie, the forum has become insipid, it is overrun with posts praising one or the other of the leads & like you said, the degenerative state the show is in leaves us little to discuss, let alone debate

There is no consistency. This track was hoped to lead to Kunal's professional front but it lost track in the mid-way. and right now I have no idea where things are going. It not that Kunal is being sidelined and Siddhi is in center, I feel really no one is in center.

Jay not just professional progress , think about it, this man dreamt of creating an identity for himself in a certain set of B/W clothes but is now instead sitting idle in a different set B/W in jail,can we say working wonders for him on the personal front?

Kunal did not opt to take the blame on himself to jut Siddhi alone but to ensure that they are never separated but what happened instead?This is not going to make him feel any better about himself be it professionally or personally!!!

Begining of the track Kunal was thinking somewhat logically and try to understand situation. So his steps were more or less appropriate. But then they just threw Kunal in back with blank face. But after that I don't feel anyone is thinking straight. People are just having mentos moment at random point. At times Siddhi does wonderful job handling Thakral but then she acts impulsive. Vikram all of the sudden thinks this may be a trap but initially he sat quite for Cvs know what reason. I guess this is what happens when the lead is not in the center??

The primary motive here is just to keep the male lead out of focus!!!😡

as much as I like Siddhi and KN; I still don't feel satisfied if Kunal is not there. Yes Sameer sir's acting is what is still running the show.

I too liked Siddhi initially , I too accept the role she had in rousing Kunal but, we can extend a helping hand to someone who has tripped , we may want to walk life's walk with them ,perhaps holding hands but can we really respect anyone who expects us to drag him the whole way?I believe Siddhi is a very vital part of his identity but not his identity!!

And anyways the CV's haven't done a justifiable job with her character either, they have reduced her to a moron!!!😡

I am here after 5 months (on & off) tuning in to the show to get a glimpse of kunal chopra from the promos. I have ranted 🤔, I have raged 😡& I have moaned 😭 in agony the discontent direction the show takes every couple of weeks in the name of kunal chopra's parichay. Everyday, I await to see that today might be the day when the dejected kunal chopra would rise in life by his inner strength, confidence & intelligence. But what I get is a kaleidoscope of kunal chopra with crutches (siddhi chopra) is still stumbling to overcome life's hurdles. The parichay of kunal chopra is still elusive as it was from the day the promos were aired.

Fari, thanks for fishing out this article 👍🏼 & Annie, yes the forum has indeed become a kati patang like the show. The energy & enthusiasm is seeping out & whoever is still standing is not coz of the show that much is for sure. 😉
