Learning various languages is a great way to expand your knowledge and appreciation of a new culture, society,community and landscape. It also helps to acquire better communication skills.

Learning a new language means you have to change your key and tune.Our sweet friends over here will help us in changing our tunes.No need to worry as it won't be like school-no annoying principal/ teachers,no need to sit in class looking out of window. Instead it'll be really interesting,entertaining and fun to learn multiple languages on our forum.We'll just spend time here, enjoyably connected to the language we are learning.

1) All teachers [Bhasha Acharya] must write the sentences and words regarding the language they are teaching, clearly and correctly.

2) Language Translation should be in English only

3) If a language has more than 1 teacher, choose a leader [Bhasha Senapati]among yourselves. This Bhasha Senapati would be the point of contact with whom lang thread mods[Bhasha Panch] can correspond with'

PM Sahasra & Aditi that name along with

Sub title: Language Leader - <Lang name>

e.g. Subject of that PM would be : Language Leader - Gujarati

4) For Languages with only 1 teacher, they will be the sole responsible teacher for the languages that they will teach for that week.

5) STRICT- NO CHATTING, ABOUT OTHER TOPICS HERE.

I.E. NO PERSONAL CHIT CHAT, PARICHAY RELATED EPISODE OR CHARACTER DISCUSSIONS'.

PLEASE VISIT THE RESPECTIVE FORUM THREADS TO DO THE SAME'

Only issues or doubts or questions or clarifications about matters regarding to language being taught in that particular week can be discussed.

6) No bashing, comparison, mockery of any language, culture, country, member/teacher will be entertained.

7) Members from all over IF, are invited to teach and learn languages in this thread.

8) If any new member wishes to teach any new language, they are most welcome'

They need to PM Amrish AND Aditi with

Sub title: LANGUAGE VOLUNTEERS - < LANG NAME> and should mention the language which they want to teach clearly in their PM

e.g. Subject of the PM : LANGUAGE VOLUNTEER - Italian

9) Languages will be taught weekly i.e. only one language/week.

At the end of the week the teacher can conduct exam if they so wish'

Also up to discretion of teacher, they can also choose best student for that language/week. If they decide to have student award, that would be called as Sarvottam Shishya..

10) Sarvottam Bhasha Guru award once every month will be awarded for the best teacher in terms of teaching methods.. A poll will be conducted at the end of every 4 weeks to decide between the 4 languages taught, recipient of Bhasha Guru'

All Shishya's from those 4 languages only will vote for Bhasha Guru award'

11) Any opinions, views or queries may be PM'd to Sahasra AND Amrish using Subject title: Language Thread Query'.

Pls. make a note to include both the folks above. This way one of them can respond in an efficient manner..

NEWLY ADDED RULES

12 ) "Bhasha Acharyas are responsible for their lang threads including posting all the detailed text, graphics, AVI's etc about their language..

13) Bhasha Acharya's would also need to send their Introduction Text to Bhasha Paanch's by Monday prior to their Language week start..

e.g If Language week starts July16th, PM should be sent latest by July9th...
Bhasha Panch's would then initiate the Lang thread using that information and Bhasha Acharyas can post all their details in subsequent posts...
