I found the lyrics very apt for Sinal but didnt like the song too much. After the melodious Agneepath songs, I found this one a bit jarring.

I also initially thought the song was jarring, but when I watched the scene for the second time, I realized there is a raw passion to the scene (you can see both Kunal and Siddhi are feeling it) and the song shares that same energy. They needed a steamy number to match the mood, the Agneepath song is romantic and emotional but that was not the mood today 😉

songs sung by rahat fateh Ali khan are always magical... to b frank Bcos of zindagi yeh safar song oly I started to watch parichay. soon after their marriage, then watched old epis n became a regular viewer.. d song choices r very apt for Sinal. n today wen I heard the chhahat song, I fell in love wid it d same moment... n song suited them so very well 😊

You were right Annie, watched the scene multiple times😳 & the song is growing on me now😆

But i'd like to know from whose perspective is it being sung. I'd like it be from Kunal's, since it speaks of possession.

I have been listening to this song ever since they played it on SInal...woww it suits them so so well and especially fell in love with this line."EK haq hai Mera"...really looked like Kunal is saying this to Siddhi...

@MAges...please make VM on Sinal using this song...and take their best scenes...I am looking waiting for it😊

I think it is from Kunal's perspective mainly because he is the more possessive between the two. But yesterday I saw hints of that possession in Siddhi too ... very subtle ... wonder if the director gave her that brief. You could see that multiple times she wanted to hold his shoulder but then hesitated after seeing her family standing nearby. Still she was grabbing his hand at every opportunity. That was a pleasant surprise for me. Good job director👏
