For four years, she was instrumental in propelling shows like Bigg Boss and Fear Factor to the top of the charts. And now we hear that the Programming Head, Ashvini Yardi, submitted her resignation to the channel, yesterday afternoon.

A source informed Mumbai Mirror that Ashvini, who is the wife of film writer-director Sachin Yardi, is keen to follow her husband's footsteps.

The source said, "Ashvini's resignation has come as a shock to the TV industry. She was on a professional high for a long time now. But, it seems that she wants to further a career in filmmaking now"

According to the source, Ashvini has already met with a prominent person from the industry, who she plans to start her first project with. Despite repeated attempts, Ashvini remained unavailable for comment.

Farah - Hi and yeah we have always thought that witcha must be having affair with someone big related to Parichay team to have so much screen space and such imp scenes in Parichay.
