To those that still visit this page...
My condolences

This serial is as dead to the inversely proportionate degree that Putana keeps on living.

More husky voice Putana threatening Kanha, more Putana disguising as Rohini, more fake-scenes with quasi-cute bonding between Rohini and Kanha, more psycho Bhagwan Kans, and psycho-er Vasudev (or Vaasudev, if they insist) ...yawn.

May Shanidev's glance fade from these decent actors who were dealt with the shittiest screenplay in mytho-series history.

Another skip-worthy episode today. (PS I saw the episode in 5 minutes in fast forward mode)
Only watch if you have a fetish for:
1. seeing gokulvasis distressed and fainting while standing in 1 spot.
2. Putana running a la Forest Gump across various terrains whilst holding a screaming Krishna saying "Putana... tum mujhe kahaa le aaye..." alternating with shouts of "maiyaa, maiyaa"
3. Stuperous Devaki stirring at Krishna's peals (even she found his voice annoying)
4. The usual Vaikunth neurosis

🤢

I read the written update; apparently after doing Kaliya's work, she's now stolen Trinavart's job as well. So... a win for women in the workforce? I wonder if kans paid her overtime?

Depicting Krishna as unaware of his divinity and having him be worshipped for his deeds instead is not in itself a bad idea, but again, they're doing it all wrong. Kanhaiyalal Munshi did it successfully in his Krishnavatar series - to make it work, though, you have to maintain Krishna's personality. He can't flail and scream for help even if he's unaware of how easily he can defeat Putna/whoever else. Even without miraculous powers, he can be calm and clever in taking care of the situation - that would make for a humanized representation of his philosophy rather than this dramatic mess they're worsening by the day.

Today...
Putana finally dies.

In a parallel universe / hallucination sequence she breastfeeds Vamanavatar - but somehow realizes she's evil again, chases Krishna to the edge of a cliff, which crumples and has her plunging to her death (mirroring the series' fate).

Tomorrow, more drama... now that all 3 of Kanha's mums are dead/comatose.
And Kans, who moonlights as a costume/makeup man, turns Prapti into Dhumavati.

To save them for the busy, story so far...
Putana is dead, Kans summons all the kids of Gokul to Mathura.
After much debate and hesitation Yashoda allows the 5-year old Kanha to go to Mathura.

Skippable

Praying that Krishna kills Kans at Mathura this week, and then the series ends.
